FAQ’S

How do you set a Smartro alarm clock?

So very simply we’ll hold the alarm button down and now it’s going to flash for that. So i’ll set this to let’s say about 210 p.m and press alarm to get to the next thing.

Is there a way to check the backup battery’s charge level?

Yes, there is a way to check it. Press and hold the “Mode” button for about 3 seconds until “BATT” appears on the screen. The display will show you how much charge is left in the backup battery.

What is the difference between “Time” and “Date”?

When you set up your alarm clock, you can choose whether you want to set up your alarm clock based on time or date. If you choose “Time”, you will be able to set up your alarm clock based on time only (e.g., 7:00 AM). If you choose “Date”, you will be able to set up your alarm clock based on date only (e.g., January 1). You can also choose both “Time” and “Date”. In this case, your alarm clock will sound at 7:00 AM on January 1st every year.

How do I change my settings?

You can change your settings by pressing and holding the “Mode” button for about 3 seconds until “SETUP” appears on the screen. The display will show you how much charge is left in the backup battery. Then press any button except for the “Mode” button so that other settings appear on the screen (e.g., Time/Date). You can then change your settings by pressing any button except for the “Mode” button again so that other settings appear on the screen (e.g., Alarm Volume). Finally, press and hold the “Mode” button for about 3 seconds until “SETUP” disappears from the screen so that your changes are saved and exit from Setup Mode.
