Product Usage Instructions
- To use the device, insert 2×1.5V AAA alkaline batteries with the correct polarity.
- The device has two modes: body mode and object mode. Press the “Mode” button to switch between the modes.
- In body mode, the device measures the temperature of the human body. Hold the device close to the forehead and press the “Measure” button. The device will emit beeps to indicate the temperature range:
- 32 – 37.8°C (89.6 – 100°F): Continuous beep
- 37.8 – 42.9°C (100 – 109.2°F): Six beeps
- Below 32°C (89.6°F) or above 42.9°C (109.2°F): Two short beeps
- In object mode, the device measures the temperature of objects. Point the device towards the object and press the “Measure” button. The device will emit beeps to indicate the temperature range:
- 0 – 99.9°C (32 – 211.8°F): Continuous beep
- Below 0°C (32°F) or above 99.9°C (211.8°F): Two short beeps
- The device has a memory function that can store up to 25 readings. Press the “Memory” button to access the stored readings.
- To turn off the device, it will automatically shut off after 30 seconds of inactivity. Alternatively, press and hold the “Power” button for 5 seconds to turn it off manually.
- The temperature can be displayed in Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F). Press the “CF” button to switch between the units.
