Initial Setup:

- Occasionally a new product may cause undesirable odours or even emit smoke for a short period of time. This reaction is normal and will disappear after a few minutes.

- To prevent condensation from forming in the device, please allow the device to adapt to the surrounding temperature before operating.

Intended use
- The LightmaXX Vector Spot 150 product was designed for generating electronic LED lighting effect. Incorrect use of the product is considered improper and can lead to per-sonal injury or property damage. Damage resulting from improper use is not liable.
- It must be ensured that the device is operated exclusively by trained and competent users who are in full possession of their mental, physical and sensory abilities. The use by other persons is only permitted under the supervision or guidance of a person responsible for their safety.

DANGER! (For Babies and Children)
- Wrapping, plastic foils and other packaging material must be properly stored or disposed of. It should be kept out of the reach of babies and children due to the risk of suffocation.
- Ensure that children never use the device unattended! Also make sure that children do not remove any (small) parts from the device, as they could suffocate if swallowed!

DANGER! (electric shock due to high voltages in the device)
- Do not remove the housing. There are no serviceable parts in the unit. Inside the device there are components which are under high electrical voltage.
- The device must not be used if damage or the absence of components, protecti-ve devices or housing parts is noticed!

- Modifi cations to the mains cable or the mains plug are prohibited.
- Failure to do so may result in fi re or death hazard due to an electric shock!

Warning! ( High light intensity – eye injuries)
Looking directly into the light source results in eye injuries! -
Warning! (Epilepsy)
Stroboscopic effects (fl ashes of light) can cause seizures of epilepsy in some people. Accordingly sensitive people are to be warned and should avoid a look at the corresponding effects. -
Warning! (Fire Hazard)
Make sure that the device is not exposed to any direct heat source and is used away from open fi re. Never block or cover ventilation slots or the device itself. -
Note! (Operating conditions)
Due to its structural characteristics, the device is designed for indoor use. Do not expose the device to rain, moisture or liquids, as this can cause damage. Vibrations, dirt or sunlight can also lead to damage, avoid them! -
Warning! (Power Supply)
- Make sure that the device voltage matches your local mains voltage. It is strongly recommended to protect your mains socket with a residual current circuit breaker (RCD).
- If you do not use your device for a longer period of time, disconnect the device from the mains to minimize dangers. The same applies to thunderstorms or fl oods, etc.
Installation

Always check the device for damage before use. Use the original packaging or suitable transport or storage packaging to protect the product optimally from infl uences such as dust or moisture, etc. when not in use.

The device can be installed either standing or hanging. The mounting must always be done on a solid, approved support or an appropriate surface. Use the opening of the brackets to attach the device. Always create a second, separate safeguard for the device, e.g. by means of a safety wire.

All work on the device (e.g. installation) should always be carried out from a stable and approved platform. Make sure that the area below you is closed off.

Please note that the use of this device with a dimmer is not possible!

Warning! (Risk of injury from falling)
It must be ensured that the device complies with all legal standards and re- gulations in the respective country of use. Ensure that the device is always secured by a second mounting cable (e.g. Safety). -

The maximum permissible ambient temperature of this device is 40° C. Ensure that the unit is always adequately ventilated.

Operation
All connections of the device should be made before switching on. Use only high-quality cables that are as short as possible for the connections.
DMX mode:
Connect the DMX input of your device to the DMX output of your DMX controller,
your DMX software or the DMX output of a device already in your DMX chain.
Always use DMX cable with a 110 Ohm resistor for this connection. Address the
device according to your DMX confi guration. The following tables show the
respective DMX modes of the individual devices with the corresponding values
and functions.
Static, Auto or Sound mode:
The device contains automatic programs that run according to fi xed schemas
(Au) or are recalled via the built-in microphone to match the music (Au). The
selection of the respective mode takes place via the menu directly on the
device.

Troubleshooting:
Warning! (Fault during data transmission)

Never connect the DMX input or output to audio devices such as power amplifi ers or mixing consoles!

DMX cables enable interference-free operation and the highest possible transmission reliability of signal data. Do not use microphone cables.

The following overview is intended as an aid for troubleshooting. If you are unsure, contact the manufacturer, the dealer or appropriate specialist personnel. Never open the device by yourself!

No Function
Check the network connection and its fuse. -
No Reaction in DMX Mode
- Check the cable connections
- If available, try an alternative DMX controller

No Reaction from Remote Control
- Change the battery in your remote control
- Make sure that the IR transmitter and receiver are within a short and clear distance of each other.
Cleaning
Regular cleaning of the device from dirt and dust increases the shelf life of the product. Always disconnect the unit from the power supply while cleaning it. Optical lenses should be cleaned with a dry microfi ber cloth. This also optimises the light output. Never clean the device with water! Ventilation grilles and openings should always be free of dust and dirt. Compressed air sprays are ideal for this application.
Environmental Safety

Disposal of packaging:
Ensure that paper packaging, plastic material, etc. are recycled separately. Observe the labels and the corresponding regulations. -

Batteries should not be thrown away! Please dispose of batteries in accordance with offi cial regulations. -
