Intended use

The LightmaXX Nano Truss Light Mobile MKII was designed for use as an electronic LED lighting effect. The device may only be used for this purpose and in accordance with the operating instructions. Other purposes as well as operation under other operating conditions are expressly not intended and can lead to damage to property or personal injury! No liability is assumed for damage resulting from improper use.
It must be ensured that the device is operated exclusively by trained and competent users who are in full possession of their mental, physical and sensory abilities. The use of other persons is expressly only permitted at the request of a person responsible for their safety, who instructs or supervises the use.
All connections of the device should be made before switching on. Only use high-quality cables that are as short as possible for the connections.

Operation

The device can be powered by mains voltage and the built-in rechargeable battery.

  1. Mains operation
Connect the device to the mains and wait a few seconds until it is ready for operation. The Power Out socket on the back of the device can be used to power another device. To do this, connect the output to the mains connection of the next device.

  2. Battery operation

    • Before the device can be operated for the first time, the built-in battery must be fully charged. Switch the unit on with the charger switch and connect the unit to an electrical outlet using the supplied power cable.
    • The battery life depends strongly on the operating mode and the brightness of the LEDs. The battery life is at least 5 hours if all LEDs light up after complete charging, up to 15 hours in automatic and single colour mode.
    • When the battery is fully charged, all four LEDs on the back of the unit will turn green. The charging time is 6 to 8 hours.
    • The charge level is indicated by green and red LEDs on the back of the unit. If all four LEDs are green, the battery is fully charged. If only one green LED lights up, the battery will soon be exhausted and must be recharged. The device can still be operated for a few minutes in this state. It then switches off automatically due to the protection circuit against deep discharge.

Navigation in the menu is via the four menu buttons below the display. Use the “Menu” button to activate the menu, navigate via the “Up” and “Down” buttons. A corresponding selection is confirmed with the “Enter” key. The corresponding menu item can be exited by pressing the “Menu” key.

If you connect several devices of the same type via DMX, they can be controlled simultaneously via the master device. To do this, set the desired function “Master” on the first device of the line, the other devices of the series must now be set as “Slave”. Now the first device of the line gives the function to all other devices and all devices run simultaneously.

Remote control mode:
The device can be managed remotely using the remote control included in the scope of delivery. The respective functions can be performed using the various program selection or color keys.

Connect the DMX input of your device to the DMX output of your DMX conntr troller, your DMX software or the DMX output of a device already in your DMX line. Always us use a se a DMX cable with a 110 Ohm resistor for this connection. Address the device according to youur Dr DMX configuration. The following table shows the respective DMX modes of the individual devvi ce ices with the corresponding values and functions:
For ideal operation in a DMX chain, it is recommended to use a terminatin ngg resistor at the end of each DMX chain. The terminating resistor is usually soldered with 120Ω beetwe tween – Data and + Data to prevent signal reflections.
