Important safety instructions! Please read before connection!
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK DO NOT OPEN
ATTENTION: To prevent the risk of electric shock, do not open the unit under any circumstances
Refer all maintenance and repair work to a qualified workshop or contact your dealer.
The lightning flash symbol warns the user of uninsulated voltage and the risk of electric shock.
The exclamation point symbol alerts the user to important maintenance and operating instructions in the instruction manual

- For environmental reasons, please recycle the packaging correctly.
- A new product can sometimes lead to unwanted odors or to minimal smoke development for a short period of time. This reaction is normal and disappears after a few minutes.
- The unit is intended for indoor use only (IP20)! Please use the device only in a dry environment. Keep the unit away from rain, moisture, direct heat and dust. In order to avoid condensation in the device, the device should adapt to the ambient temperature before startup.
- Please place the device in a well ventilated place, out of the reach of flammable materials or liquids.
- Do not cover any ventilation openings as this may result in overheating.
- Please disconnect the power plug if the unit is not to be used for a long period of time or if maintenance work is to be carried out.
- The device is designed for a maximum ambient temperature of 40° Celsius.
- The device should not be installed by inexperienced persons and must be installed in compliance with the mechanical and electrical safety regulations in your country.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced immediately with an original spare part from the manufacturer.
- Make sure that the mains voltage is not higher than the voltage indicated on the housing.
- In case of a malfunction of the device, please contact your dealer and stop the operation of the device immediately.
- A minimum distance of 1m to flammable materials or liquids must be maintained.
ATTENTION: Do not look directly into the light source!
Do not use the device when people with epilepsy are nearby

Intended use:
The LightmaXX VEGA ZOOM Wash was designed for use as an electronic LED lighting effect. The device may only be used for this purpose and in accordance with the operating instructions. Other purposes as well as operation under other operating conditions are expressly not intended and can lead to damage to property or personal injury! No liability is assumed for damage resulting from improper use.
It must be ensured that the device is operated exclusively by trained and competent users who are in full possession of their mental, physical and sensory abilities. The use of other persons is expressly only permitted at the request of a person responsible for their safety, who instructs or supervises the use.
Safety instructions:
DANGER! (For babies and children)
Packaging, plastic films and other packaging materials must be properly stored
or disposed of. They must be kept out of the reach of babies and children due
to the risk
of suffocation.
Make sure that children never use the device unattended! In addition, make
sure that children do not remove any (small) parts from the device, as they
could suffocate by swallowing them!
DANGER! (Electrical shock due to high voltages in the device)
Do not remove the housing. There are no parts to be maintained in the device.
Inside
the device there are components which are under high electrical voltage. The device must not be used as soon as damage or the absence of components, protective devices or housing parts is noticed!
DANGER! (Electric shock caused by short circuit)
Modifications to the power cord or plug are prohibited. Failure to do so may
result in fire or death due to electric shock!
WARNING! (High light intensity – eye injuries)
A direct view into the light source must be avoided at all costs.

Due to its structural characteristics, the device is designed for indoor use.
Never expose
the device to rain, moisture or liquids as this may cause damage. Vibrations,
dirt or sunlight can also cause damage – avoid them
NOTE! (Power supply)
It is essential that you check that the device voltage matches your local
mains voltage. It is strongly recommended that you fuse your mains socket
with a residual current circuit breaker (FI).
If you do not use your device for a longer period of time, disconnect it from the mains. to minimize danger. The same applies to storm conditions such as thunderstorms or floods, etc..
Installation:
Be sure to check the unit for damage before using it. Optimally, use the original packaging or suitable transport or storage packaging to protect the product from dust, moisture, etc. whennot in use
The unit can be installed upright or suspended. The device must always be attached to a solid, approved carrier or a suitable surface. The opening in the product bracket must be used to fasten the device. Always provide a second, independent safety device for the device, e.g. a safety device.
Work on the device (e.g. assembly) should always be carried out from a stable and permissible platform. Make sure that the area below you is closed off.
Please note that it is not possible to use this device with a dimmer!
WARNING! (Risk of injury due to falling down)
It must be ensured that the installation of the device complies with all legal standards and regulations in the respective country of use. It must be ensured that the device is always secured by a second fastening (e.g. Safety).
NOTE! (Risk of overheating)
The max. permissible ambient temperature of this device is 40° C. Make sure that the device is always adequately ventilated.
NOTE! (Using tripods)
As soon as the unit is mounted on a tripod, it must always be ensured that it stands securely and securely. Make sure that the maximum permissible load capacity of your tripods is not exceeded.
NOTE! (Error during data transmission)
Never connect the DMX input or output to audio devices such as power amplifiers or mixers
DMX cables enable trouble-free operation and the highest possible transmission reliability of signal data. Do not use microphone cables.
Commissioning:
All connections of the device should be made before switching on. Only use high-quality cables that are as short as possible for the connections.
Configuration of the DMX connector
Resistance 120 ohm 1/4w between pin 2 (DMX-) and pin 3 (DMX+) oft he last fixture.
Operating mode DMX:
Connect the DMX input of your device to the DMX output of your DMX controller, your DMX software or the DMX output of a device already in your DMX chain. Always use a DMX cable with a 110 Ohm resistor for this connection. Address the device according to your DMX configuration. The device has a DMX mode with 16 channels, which are based on the follow injunctions:

Operating modes
DMX address
With this function the DMX address can be set via the LED display. The selection is done by the buttons below the display. Press the menu button until A001 appears in the display. By pressing the enter key, the display shows A0.0.1! Now the desired DMX address can be set. Press the enter key to confirm your selection.
DMX Channel mode
With this function the channel mode of the moving head can be set. Press the menu button until ChMd appears in the display. Press the enter key to enter the submenu and select the channel mode. Press the enter key to confirm your selection.
Speed mode
With this function the speed of the device can be adjusted. Press the menu button until SPMd appears in the display. By pressing the enter key you enter the submenu and can select between High Speed and Low Speed. Press the enter key to confirm your selection.
Master-Slave
Press the menu button until SLMd appears on the display. By pressing the enter key you enter the submenu and can select whether the device is to run in Master or Slave mode. Press the enter key to confirm your selection.
Automatic programs
Press the menu key until SHMd appears in the display. By pressing the enter key, you enter the submenu and can choose between the various automatic modes. Press the enter key to confirm your selection.
Sound 2 Light
Press the menu button until Soun appears on the display.
By pressing the enter key, you’ll enter the submenu and where you can activate and deactivate the Sound 2 Light mode.
Press the enter button to confirm your selection.
PAN Reverse On/Off
Press the menu button until PAN appears on the display. Press the enter key to enter the submenu and invert the PAN (X-axis). Press the enter key to confirm your selection.
TILT Reverse On/Off
Press the menu button until TIL appears on the display. By pressing the enter key you enter the submenu and can select the
Invert TILT (Y axis).
Press the enter key to confirm your selection.
Display Flip
Press the menu button until diSP appears on the display. Press the enter key to enter the submenu and rotate the display. Press the enter key to confirm your selection.
Disable RESET
Press the menu button until rFAC appears on the display. By pressing the enter key you enter the submenu and can activate or deactivate the reset function of the device. Press the enter button to confirm your selection.
Home Position Setting
Press the menu button until Ad t appears on the display. Press the enter key to enter the submenu and reset the PAN and TILT positions. Press the enter key to confirm your selection.
RESET
Press the menu button until rest appears on the display. By pressing the enter button, the device initiates a reset, which takes a few seconds while the device is not controllable.

Operation
Start:
Connect the device to the mains and wait a few seconds until it is ready for operation.
Menu:
Navigation in the menu is via the four menu buttons below the display. Use the “Mode” button to activate the menu, navigation is via the “Up” and “Down” buttons. A corresponding selection is confirmed with the “Enter” key.

Troubleshooting

Cleaning:
A regular cleaning of the device from impurities and dust increases the durability of the product. Always disconnect the device from the power supply while cleaning it. Optical lenses should be cleaned with a dry microfiber cloth. This also optimizes the light output. Never clean the device wet! Ventilation grilles and openings should always be cleaned of dust and dirt. Compressed air sprays are ideal for this application.
Environmental protection:

Disposal of packaging:

Batteries do not belong in the garbage! Please dispose of batteries in accordance with official regulations at collection points or disposal stations.
