Safety Instructions!
Please read before connection and operation!
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK.
DO NOT OPEN!
WARNING: To prevent the risk of electrocution, do not open the device.
Please leave all maintenance and repairs to a qualified service workshop or
contact your distributor.
The lightning flash symbol warns the user about non-insulated current and the
risk of electrocution.
The exclamation mark symbol warns the user about important maintenance and
operating inst-ructions in the manual.

This symbol indicates the minimum distance to illuminated objects.
- Please recycle the packaging correctly to protect the environment.
- Occasionally a new product may cause undesirable odours or even emit smoke for a short period of time. This reaction is normal and will disappear after a few minutes.
- The device is intended exclusively for us indoors (IP20)! Please use this device only in dry environments. Keep the device away from rain, moisture, direct heat and dust.
- To prevent condensation from forming in the device, please allow the device to adapt to the surrounding temperature before operating.
- Please position the device in a well ventilated area, beyond the reach of flammable materials or liquids.
- Do not block any ventilation openings, as it may cause over-heating.
- Please remove the power cable if the device is not operated for extended periods of time or maintenance is to be conducted.
- This device is designed to operate in environments with a maximum temperature of 40° Celsius.
- The installation of the device is not to be conducted by inexperienced persons and must adhere to the mechani-cal and electrical safety standards of the local law.
- In case of a damaged power cable, it must be replaced by an original replacement part from the manufacturer.
- Ensure that the supply voltage does not exceed the voltage capacity indicated on the housing of the device.
- In case of failure of the device, please contact the distri-butor and stop all operations of the device immediately.
- The device must keep a minimum distance of one metre from flammable materials or liquids.
WARNING: Do not look directly into the light source! Do not operate this
device in the presence of persons suffering from epilepsy!
OVERHEAD INSTALLATION
The installation must be performed exclusively by qualified personnel.
Incorrect installation can cause serious injuries or da-mage. Note the load
limits of the selected installation position.
Ensure that during installation or dismantling/ maintenance there are no
unauthorized persons below the device.

Intended use:
The LightmaXX Vector Spot 150 was designed for use as an electronic LED
lighting effect. The device may only be used for this purpose and in
accordance with the operating instructions. Other uses, as well as operation
under other operating conditions are expressly not in accordance with the
regulations and can lead to material damage or personal injury! No liability
is assumed for damage resulting from improper use.
It must be ensured that the device is operated exclusively by trained and
competent users who are in full possession of their mental, physical and
sensory abilities. The use of other persons is expressly only permitted at the
request of a person responsible for their safety who instructs or supervises
the use.
Safety instructions:
DANGER! (For Babies and Children)
Wrapping, plastic foils and other packaging material must be properly stored
or disposed of. It should be kept out of the reach of babies and children due
to the risk of suffocation.
Ensure that children never use the device unattended! Also make sure that
children do not remove any (small) parts from the device, as they could
suffocate if swallowed!
DANGER! (electric shock due to high voltages in the device)
Do not remove the housing. There are no serviceable parts in the unit. Inside
the device there are components which are under high electrical voltage.
The device must not be used if damage or the absence of components, protective
devices or housing parts is noticed!
DANGER! (electric shock caused by short circuit)
Modifications to the mains cable or the mains plug are prohibited.
Failure to do so may result in fire or death hazard due to an electric shock!
Warning! ( High light intensity – eye injuries)
It is absolutely forbidden to look directly into the light source.
Warning! (Epilepsy)
Stroboscopic effects (flashes of light) can cause seizures of epilepsy in some
people. Accordingly sensitive people are to be warned and should avoid a look
at the corresponding effects.
Warning! (Fire Hazard)
Make sure that the device is not exposed to any direct heat source and is used
away from open fire. Never block or cover ventilation slots or the device
itself.
Warning! (Service Conditions)
Due to its structural characteristics, the device is designed for indoor use.
Do not expose the device to rain, moisture or liquids, as this can cause
damage.
Vibrations, dirt or sunlight can also lead to damage, avoid them!
Warning! (Power Supply)
Make sure that the device voltage matches your local mains voltage. It is
strongly recommended to protect your mains socket with a residual current
circuit breaker (RCD).
If you do not use your device for a longer period of time, disconnect the
device from the mains to minimize dangers. The same applies to thunderstorms
or floods, etc.
Installation:
Always check the device for damage before use. Use the original packaging or
suitable transport or storage packaging to protect the product optimally from
harmful substances such as dust or moisture, etc. when not in use.
The device can be installed either upright or suspended. The mounting must
always be made on a stable, approved support or an appropriate surface. Use
the opening in the mounting bracket to attach the unit. Always create a
second, independent safeguard for the device, e.g. by means of a safety cable.
All work on the device (e.g. installation) should always be carried out from a
stable and approved platform. Make sure that the area below you is closed off.
Please note that the use of this device with a dimmer is not possible!
Warning! (Risk of injury from falling)
It must be ensured that the device complies with all legal standards and
regulations in the respective country of use. Ensure that the device is always
secured by a second mounting cable (e.g. Safety).
Warning! (Overheating)
The maximum permissible ambient temperature of this device is 40° C.
Ensure that the unit is always adequately ventilated.
Warning! (Using Stands)
As soon as the device is mounted on a stand, a safe and firm base must always
be ensured. Ensure that the maximum permissible load capacity of your tripod
is not exceeded.
Warning! (Fault during data transmission)
Never connect the DMX input or output to audio devices such as power
amplifiers or mixing consoles!
DMX cables enable interference-free operation and the highest possible
transmission reliability of signal data. Do not use microphone cables.
Operation:
All connections of the device should be made before switching on. Use only high-quality cables that are as short as possible for the connections.
Configuration of the DMX plugs:
Resistance 120 ohm 1/4w between pin 2 (DMX-) andf pin 3 (DMX+) of the last
fixture.
Operating Mode DMX:
Connect the DMX input of your device to the DMX output of your DMX controller,
your DMX software or the DMX output of a device already in your DMX chain.
Always use DMX cable with a 110 Ohm resistor for this connection. Address the
device according to your DMX configuration. The device has a DMX mode with 10,
12, 14 or 16 channels, which is based on the following functions:

Auto or Sound mode:
The device contains automatic programs that run according to fixed schemes
(auto) or are called up via the built-in microphone to match the music
(sound).
The selection of the respective mode is made via the menu directly on the
device.

Control elements:
Start:
Connect the device to the power supply and wait a few seconds until it is
ready for operation.
Menu:
Navigation in the menu is performed using the four menu buttons below the
display. Use the „Menu“ key to activate the menu, navigation is done using the
„Up“ and „Down“ keys. A corresponding selection is confirmed with the „Enter“
key.

Troubleshooting:
The following overview is intended as an aid to rapid troubleshooting. If you are unsure, contact the manufacturer, the dealer or appropriate specialist personnel. Never open the device by yourself!

Cleaning:
Regular cleaning of the device from dirt and dust increases the shelf life of the product. Always disconnect the unit from the power supply while cleaning it. Optical lenses should be cleaned with a dry microfiber cloth. This also optimises the light output. Never clean the device with water! Ventilation grilles and openings should always be free of dust and dirt. Compressed air sprays are ideal for this application.
Environmental Protection:
Music Store professional GmbH always endeavours to reduce the burden of
packaging to a minimum. The use of environmentally friendly and recyclable
materials is always of fundamental importance. Please recycle the packaging
after use.
Disposal of packaging:
Ensure that paper packaging, plastic material, etc. are recycled
separately.Observe the labels and the corresponding regulations.
Disposal of batteries:
Batteries should not be thrown away! Please dispose of batteries in accordance
with official regulations.
Disposal of your old device:
This device is subject to the WEEE directive (Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment) in its currently valid form. The device must not be disposed of
with normal household waste.
The device is disposed of via an approved disposal company or your local waste
disposal centre. The regulations valid in your country must be observed!
