INTRODUCTION
For your own personal safety, please read and understand this manual completely before you attempt to install or operate this unit!
- Please keep this User Manual for future reference. If you sell the unit to another user, be sure that he also receives this instruction booklet.
- Unpack and check the unit carefully that it has not been damaged during transport before using the unit.
- Before operating, ensure that the voltage and frequency of power supply match the power requirements of the unit.
- The unit should be connected to a main socket outlet with a protective earth connection.
- The unit is for indoor use only in a dry location.
- The unit must be installed in a location with adequate ventilation, at least 0,5m from adjacent surfaces. Be sure that no ventilation slots are blocked.
- Disconnect mains power before fuse replacement or servicing.
- Replace fuse only with the same type.
- Make sure there are no inflammable material close to the unit during operation.
- Use safety cable when fixing this unit. In the event of serious operating problem, stop using the unit immediately.
- Never try to repair the unit by yourself. Repair carried out by unskilled people can lead to damage or malfunction.
- Please contact the nearest authorized technical assistance center and always use the same type of spare parts.
- Do not touch any wires during operation as high voltage might be causing electric shock.
CAUTION! For added protection mount the fixtures in areas outside walking paths, seating areas,or in areas were the fixture might be reached by unauthorized personnel.
Before mounting the fixture to any surface, make sure that the installation area can hold a minimum point load of 10 times the device’s weight. Fixture installation must always be secured with a secondary safety attachment ,such as an appropriate safety cable. Never stand directly below the device when mounting, removing, or servicing the fixture, from a ceiling, or set on a flat level surface (see illustration below). Be sure this fixture is kept at least 0.5m (1.5ft) away from any flammable (decoration etc.) Always use and install the supplied safety cable as a safe cable as safety measure to prevent accident damage and /or injury in the event the clamp fails.
MOUNTING & INSTALLATION
HORIZONTAL MOUNTING
First, to fix the stand to the place where it is placed, and rotate 540°
horizontally and 270° vertically.
HANGING MOUNTING
Caution! Ensure that the installation is perfectly suitable place to ensure
that the chos en mount point is reliable. When installing the device, keep it
away from flammable materials (decorative materials, etc.) and keep a distance
of at least 0.3 meters from it. To install the two lifting lugs to the base of
chassis first, and then to mou nt the light to appropriate place.
For overhead installation, the fixture must be always secured with a safety wire that can bear at least 10 times the weight of the fixture. You must use a safety wire with a safety clasp. The safety wire pierced throug h the hole from the bottom of the light. Then bypass it, the lamp bracket or other fixtures, and finally, to insert the end of the safety wire into the safety clasp and tighten the screw.
DMX-512 CONTROL CONNECTION
The connection between the light and the controller or the lights mus bjo3vup t use two core shielded wires with a diameter of not less than 0.5 mm. Please use the 3 pin DMX512 output /output to connect the moving head. The connection between the XLR plug / socket and the lead be shown in the diagram below.
Be attention that when connecting the 3 pin XLR plug /socket cannot contact with the inner shell and between the wire cores also cannot contact. Except for the connection shown in the diagram above, the XLR plug / socket and the XLR control line cannot be connected in any other way.
DMX TERMINATOR
Under Control Mode, for installations where the DMX cable has to run a long
distance or is in an electrically noisy environment, it is recommended to use
a DMX terminator. This helps in preventing corruption of the digital control
signal by electrical noise. The DMX terminator is simply an XLR plug with a
120 resistor connected between pins 2 and 3, which is then plugged into the
output XLR socket of the last fixture in the chain.
