SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Keep children less than 3 years old under supervision when they are near the product. The product can be switched on/off by children from 3 to 8 years old only if it is mounted in the correct position to use, and if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the product and understand the risks involved. Do not allow children from 3 to 8 years old to conned, use, clean, or maintain the product.
  • Do not use the product outdoors.
  • Never cover the product and do not block the ventilation openings on the product — risk of overheating and fire hazard.
  • Do not place the product closer than one meter to furniture, curtains, or other flammable materials.
  • Switch off the product immediately and pull out the plug if the product is not working properly.
  • Pull out the plug if the product is not going to be used for some time.
  • Do not run the power cord in front of the product.
  • Do not route the power cord under carpets etc. Place the power cord so that there is no risk of treading on it, or tripping over it.
  • Do not use the product on a fitted carpet, or equivalent.
  • The plug must be plugged into a correctly installed and earthed power point.
  • Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate.
  • Do not place the product directly under a PowerPoint.
  • Do not use the product near a bath, shower, or swimming pool.
  • This product can be used by children from 8 years and upwards and by persons with physical, sensorial, or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience or knowledge if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the product and understand the risks involved. Keep children under supervision to make sure they do not play with the product. Do not allow children to clean or maintain the product without supervision.
  • To avoid the risk of the overheating protection being accidentally reset the product must not be supplied with power via a cable with an external switch, such as a timer, or be connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off centrally.
  • Do not attempt to dismantle or repair the product. Repairs should be carried out by qualified personnel or an authorized service center.
  • A damaged power cord or plug must be replaced by an authorized service center, or other qualified personnel, to ensure safe use.

WARNING!

  • Do not use the product unsupervised in small rooms where there are persons who cannot leave the room without assistance.
  • Do not cover the product, this can result in overheating.
  • Some parts of the product get very hot — the risk of burn injuries. Keep the product under careful supervision when it is used by, or near children or persons with functional disorders.

INSTALLATION

POSITIONING

  1. Place the mounting bracket (3) in the required place for installation.
  2. Check with a spirit level that the bracket is horizontal and mark out the four screw holes with a pencil. Use the two marked center holes on the bracket (3) as a template. FIG. 2

HOLE-MAKING

  1. Drill four holes, 7 mm in diameter and 30 mm deep, in the wall.
  2. Tap the plugs (2) in the holes with a hammer.

ATTACHMENT OF TOP MOUNTING BRACKET
Screw the top bracket (3) on the wall with 4 screws (1) in the plugs.

ATTACHMENT OF BOTTOM MOUNTING BRACKET
Screw the bottom bracket on the wall with one screw (1) in the plug (2).

MOUNTING

  1. Hang the product on the hook on the top bracket (3).
  2. Align it to the bottom bracket.

USE

MAIN POWER ON/OFF.

  1. Set the Main Power Switch in the position I, then press the power button (7), or press on the remote control. (16)
    NOTE: Put the power switch in position Ito start the product with or without heating.

STARTING

  1. Press the power switch or button (7) ON/ OFF on the remote control button (16) to start the product.
  2. Press once again to go into standby mode.
  3. Press once again to switch off the product.
    NOTE: Settings are stored in the memory and the product starts with these settings when it was switched off.

SETTING THE TEMPERATURE
Switch on/off the temperature by pressing the button on the product or the remote control. The product switches between the following settings when pressing HI. HI: High temperature ” H I “is shown on display. LO: Low temperature, ” LO ” shown on display.

  • Set the required temperature with the buttons on the control panel.
  • The thermostat can be set from 15 to 30°C. The standard setting is 25°C.
  • The temperature settings can be changed in steps of 1°C with the buttons + and -(12) and (17) on the remote control or with the buttons (9, 10)on the control panel.

Temperature drop
ECO is shown in the display and the product switches off if the ambient temperature drops more than 5°C in 10 minutes when the product is running in LO or HI mode. In which case any windows/doors that caused the temperature drop should be closed. Start the product with the remote control or with the button .

Temperature setting buttons + and –
These buttons are used to set the temperature and have the same function as the buttons for heating and cooling on the control panel. “+” means warmer and “-” is colder.
SETTING THE TIME
The buttons + (12) and – (17) on the remote control are also used to set the time.

ACTIVATION/DEACTIVATION OF FLAME EFFECT
Press the button for the flame effect on the control panel (11) or remote control (15) to activate/ deactivate the flame effect.
ADJUSTING THE BRIGHTNESS
Press the button for brightness on the control panel to switch. Press the button for the brightness on the control panel to switch between 4 levels: L1. L2, L3, L4 ( L4 is the best brightness.)

SETTING THE CLOCK

  1. Press the ON/OFF button to start the product.
  2. Press the button to set the clock for two seconds to show the time and day of the week.
  3. Press the button to set the clock. Use the buttons + and -.

SETTING THE TIME EI DAY (24-HOUR CLOCK)

  1. Press the Power switch to turn the unit on.

  2. Press the Timer Setting button (14) to display Week.

  3. Press the Time Setting button (19) to select Monday to Sunday, 01 for Monday, 02 for Tuesday. . . 07 for Sunday.

  4. Press the Timer Setting button (14) to display Hour.

  5. Press the Time Setting button (19) to select Hours 01-23.

  6. Press the Timer Setting button (14) to display Minute.

  7. Press the Time Setting button (19) to select Minute 01-59.

  8. Press the Timer Setting button (14) to display Mode.
    — Mode 01: Open all time on Saturday and Sunday.
    — Mode 02: Open all time from Monday to Friday.
    — Mode 03: Open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
    — Mode 04: Open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
    — Mode 05: Open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
    — Mode 06: Open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Monday to Friday.

  9. Press the Heating Button(8)or (13)on the Remote control to start the product.

Setting the hours and minutes

  1. Press the button (14) to set the clock to set the hours. The hours setting flashes.
  2. Set the hours with the + (12) and – (17) buttons.
  3. Repeat steps land 2 for minutes.
  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to set the stop time for period 1.
  5. Press the button to set the clock. The start time for period 2 (M2) is shown.
  6. Repeat steps 2 to 5 to set the time for period 2.

Set the day of the week and timer

  1. Press the button (14) to set the clock. The setting to start the clock for period 1 (M1) for Tuesday is shown.
  2. Repeat the previous steps to make the required settings for the other days of the week. When the settings for the day are confirmed the timer mode closes if no buttons are pressed on the remote control for 10 seconds. The product returns to normal run mode.
  3. Activate timer settings by pressing the timer button (19) until the timer symbol is shown on the display.

NOTE:
Timer mode can only be activated if the time and weekday are set.

MAINTENANCE

CLEANING

  • Clean the outside of the product with a soft cloth, moistened with water and a mild detergent.
  • Make sure that no water or any other liquid gets into the electrical parts — the risk of fire and/or electric shock.
  • Remove dust and dirt by carefully vacuum cleaning the grille on the product.

NOTE:

  • Switch off the product and pull out the plug before cleaning.
  • Allow the product to cool before handling and/or cleaning.
  • Do not use strong detergent or solvent, this can damage the plastic parts.

REPLACING BATTERIES IN REMOTE CONTROL

  1. Place the remote control with the backup and press the catch on the left edge of the battery holder to the middle of the remote control.
  2. Pull out the battery holder.
  3. Insert a new CR 2025 battery and press the battery holder in place.

OVERHEATING PROTECTION
The product has overheating protection that automatically switches off the product if it overheats, for example, if there is a blockage in the outlet. The product starts automatically when it has returned to normal temperature and the blockage has been removed.
