300-42401 Kerosene Heater

Please pay particular attention to the safety information. We recommend that you keep the instructions for future reference.

TOFEED OIL

  1. Remove the filter cap.
  2. fill fuelunti the fuel indicator points o “F”
  3. D0 not filo stop up the Ille hole with the cap.
  4. Before you feed of, extinguish the heater.

TOIGNITE:

  1. When you are going to use the heater for the first time, you will feed offhand wait about ten minutes unite wickissoaked with fuel.
  2. To ignite, you will:
    a. Lift the wick by Turing the wick – adjust – handle knob clockwise.
    b Tit the chimney by pinching the chimney knob.
    c Light the wick with a match at its two or three spots.
    d. Ton the chimney horizontally using the chimney knob, thereby setting the chimney properly on the burner.

TOADJUST COMBUSTION

THE HEATER IS LOW ON FUEL.

TO EXTINGUISH

  1. Turn the wick-adjust-handle knob counter-clockwise slowly until it stops. The wick will be lowered to the bottom and the fire will be outing 3 – 5 minutes.
  2. Make sure the fire has den extinguished.
  3. Never fail to extinguish the fire before you move the heater to another place, before you evacuate the room in which the heater is used.

CAUTIONS FOR ASSEMBLERS

  1. In case you consider water dots to exist n the fuel tank of the heater, you will emmoved them by turning the tank upside down and then wash it using pure white lighting kerosene
  2. In fitting the wick-adjust-handle, mind motto fatten the wick-adjust-handle nut too tightly
  3. The burner flame rubber packing stuck on the bottom of the burner cover should never be removed.
  4. After assembling the heater, you will et it in a safe place, before you use it actually.

A KETTLE HOLDER HAS BEEN INCORPORATED INTO THE HEATER:
(Patents have already been applied for with world wide Authorities.)
This new device enables the heater to he used as a room heater and a cooking stove all the year round. (Remove the top-plate, and you can use the heater as a cooking stove as well.)

CAUTIONS IN USING

  1. The heater should be used on a horizontal level.
  2. The heater should not be subjected to drafts.
  3. The heater should not be used near inflammables.
  4. The room in which the heater is used should have sufficient ventilation.
  5. Users are requested to pay special attention tochldren while the heater i being used

STORING

  1. Disassemble and clean the heater before storing away.
  2. The wick should be kept apart from the wick holder and the foe ta.
  3. The heater should boo stored in an aryl space with less humidity.

REPLACING WICKS

  1. Remove the guard frame by screwing off the three fixing nuts.
  2. Remove the chimney.
  3. Pull off the wick cover by screwing off the four fixing nuts.
  4. Loosen the wick-adjust-handle nut on the wick-adjust-handle by turning it counter-clockwise and pull the wick-adjust-handle towards you.
  5. Pull up the wick holder together with the wick.
  6. Clean the wick guide, burner cover etc.
  7. Remove the old wick from the wick holder.
  8. Insert a new wick inside the wick holder and let the wick stuck by the pricks inside the wick holder: The top of the wick should be evenly exposed by above the top of the wick holder.
  9. The wick holder lined with a wick is then to be applied down the wick guide.

  11. Turn the wick-adjust-handle knob clockwise and lift the wick fully. If the top of the wick is not evenly exposed, scissor it even.
  12. EUROLAMP 300-42401 Kerosene Heater - REPLACING WICKS5Put the wick cover on the burner— in doing this, the gap between the wick cover and the wick guide should be made even. Otherwise the vertical move-ment of the wick will be hard.
  13. To guarantee a fine combustion of this heater, it is essential for you to use a genuine wick for heater.

FIRST BE FAMILIAR WITH HOW TO HANDLE THE HEATER THEN USE IT

POINTS TO REMEMBER

  1. Use only Kerosene in the heater.
  2. Store fuel only in safe place.
  3. Never use the heater in narrow of lightly closed rooms or areas and near other flammables.
  4. Do not use heater placed in a windy location or on slanted level.
  5. Exercise care not to spill Kerosene and wipe it up clean when spilled.
  6. Be sure the flame is completely out when filling the heater or relocating the heater.
  7. Fill in fuel before the fuel in tank runs out.
  8. Be sure the flame is completely out when the heater is left alone.
  9. Ventilation is required on frequent basis at least once per 2-4 hours in tightly closed rooms.
  10. Exercise charge not to bump or upset the heater. Simply set it upright again if the heater should be accidentally overturned. In case of fire, set the heater upright again and extinguish the fire with fire-extinguisher or cover the heater by blanket and then pour water on.
