Please read these instructions carefully before operating the dehumifier. This manual contains further important instructions for proper operation. We recommend that you keep the instructions for future reference.

PROHIBITION

| When the appliance malfunctions, do not repair it yourself. Please contact qualified personnel for the service.

| In case of any abnormality, turn off the dehumidifier, disconnect the plug and contact the seller or the customer service line.
| Never attempt to turn off the dehumidifier by disconnecting the plug.
| Never modify the dehumidifier. Do not attempt to disassemble or service the unit by yourself.
| Keep your hands dry while plugging into or pulling off the plug, to avoid electric shock.
| The voltage of alternating current applied to the equipment is 220-240V.
| Remove any dust from the blades of the power plug, and insert the plug into an outlet securely.

| Never put rods or objects into the openings of the dehumidifier.
| Remove water that has been collected in the tank. Do not drink the water, or use it for other purpose because it may cause illness and/or unforeseen accidents.
| Risk of electric shock. Disconnect the power before servicing the unit. There are moving and hot parts, do not operate the unit with the back cover removed.

| The dehumidifier must be used on a flat and stable surface.

| Do not put water vessel on the dehumidifier (in case of any spill of water, the water gets into the unit and deteriorates the insulation).

| Do not use the humidifier where any leakage of oil or flammable gas may take place.
| Do not use the unit in places subject to chemicals.
| For continous draining, make sure that the drain hose is set properly without a rising slope.
| Be careful I that a heating appliance is not exposed to the wind from a dehumidifier.
| Do not use the dehumidifier as a chair or a footstool.
| For safety purpose, disconnect the power plug if the unit is not in use for a long time.
| Be sure to take hold of the power plug when plugging in and out of an outlet.
| In case of using the dehumidifier in a closet, be sure to prevent children from getting in the closet.
| Do not remove the float lever from the water tank.
| To avoid damages to the power cord, do not pull out the cord when moving the unit.
| Do not block up the air intakes and outlets. Do not cover the unit with washed clothes.
| Prior to continuous operation fora long duration, periodical checking is required especially for the air dean filter, the drain hose etc.
| Turn off the unit and disconnect the power plug before starting any cleaning or other routine maintenance.
| To avoid the risk of electric shock, never sprinkle or spill water on the dehumidifier when cleaning.

OPERATION AND PERFORMANCE

Defrosting Operation

  • Both the dehumidifying function and the air cleaning function stop during the defrosting operation.
  • Do not disconnect the plug of the unit to turn off the unit during the defrosting operation.

This dehumidifier is not suitable for keeping the humidity very low (approximately 50% or less).
This dehumidifier is designed to remove the uncomfortable humidity in daily life and to use for auxiliary drying of washed clothes indoors. This is not suitable for keeping the humidity very low.
Room temperature rises during operation
This dehumidifier does not have cooling function. It produces heat during the operation, and the room temperature rises 1°C – 4°C. The temperature get higher while it is operated in a closet. Furthermore, the room temperature rises because doors and windows are closed, and heat is produced from other appliances in the room, or by sun radiation.
CORRECT DISPOSAL OF THIS PRODUCT

  • Do not use means to accelerate the defrosting process or to clean, other that those recommended by the manufacturer.
  • The appliance should be stored in a room without continuously operating ignition sources (for example: open flames, an operating gas appliance, or an operating electric heater).
  • Do not pierce or burn.
  • Be aware that the refrigerants may not contain an odour – the maximum refrigerant charge amount is 60gr.
  • The refrigerant needs to be added at a factory or a distributor, in a suitable place.
  • The appliance should be installed in accordance with the national wiring regulations.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack or experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

For efficient operation of the dehumidifier, spacing are required as shown below.

TANK FULL
If the water tank is full, the indicator light comes on.
TIMER
Press the timer to program the time, and the TIMER lamp lights up while the timer is programmed. Before programming, make sure that the timer function has not been activated (the light must be off). The following timer programs are available: Delayed power-off function (the appliance is in working status).
The appliance will stop once time reaches the setting value.
Use the TIMER button to set the time period (0-24 hours).
AUTO-RESTART
If the unit stops unexpectedly due to a power cut, it will restart when the power resumes with the previous function selected automatically.

SELECTING FUNCTIONS PROPERLY

Operation Mode AUTOMATIC

  • Open the flap.
  • The dehumidifying operation stops automatically, when the humidity is below approximately 55%. The dehumidifier continues the air cleaning operation only – the  AUTOMATIC operation lamp remains on.

Operation Mode CONTINUOUS

  • Open the flap.
  • Be sure to put the dehumidifier in a closet with the tank side towards the closet door.
  • Try to close the closet doors to a degree that the power cord

Thay not be pinched in the doors.

  • Open the flap for drying the washed clothes uniformly.

SET AN AIR FILTER TO THE DEHUMIDIFIER

  1. Remove the filter holder from the front cover.
  2. Take the air clean filter out of the bag, and put it onto the back filter. Set the air cleaner filter to the back cover, with the filter fitted into the four clips in the cover. Put the filter holder on the cover with the flat surface of the holder upwards, and set the holder to the four clips in the cover (with the convex portions of the holder upwards).
    To set the holder securely, press its perimeter with your fingers.
    Then check the condition.
    In case of impoper setting conditions, you cannot set the back cover to the unit.
    Make sure that the water tank is set properly.
    The dehumidifier will not be operated when the tank is full or water or itis not set properly.
    To remove the water tank, draw it gently towards you, by holding the concave part of the tank.
    To set the water tank, push it horizontally and gently. The handle lies down by itself.

EMPTY THE WATER TANK

  1. Remove the water tank from the dehumidifier.
  2. Hold the tank by the handle and carry it gently,
  3. Tilt the tank to the direction as shown, and slowly empty the water out of the tank. 4, Set the tank in the dehumidifier.
    NOTE: After the dehumidifying operation, the water is collected in the water tank. When the tank is full of water, the dehumidifier stops operating automatically and the buzzer sounds.

The buzzer sounds for 20 seconds when the tank is taken out during operation.

  • The dehumidifier will automatically stop after the hours set by the timer (0-24 hrs) have passed.
  • In any mode, you can press the TIMER button, to set the timer.

HOW TO OPERATE

  1. Plug in the dehumidifier to an outlet.
  2. The AUTOMATIC mode lamp will flash.
  3. Make sure that the water tank is set properly.

Open on the air outlet flaps suitable for the desired operation.
Press the button.
The AUTOMATIC mode lamp will light up.

SET TO THE DESIRED OPERATION

  1. Every time you press the MODE button, the selection mode lights up in tum as shown, and the operation mode will be changed.
  2. Press and hold the MODE button for 5 seconds to enter the key lock state. Hold the MODE button for 5 seconds again to exit the lock state.

TIMER OPERATION

  1. Press the TIMER button to set the desired time.
  2. Press the TIMER button to program the timer and the TIMER lights on while the timer is programmed.
  3. Before programming, make sure that the timer function has not been activated – the light must be off.
  4. To cancel the time operation, press the TIMER button, and the light will go off.

The following timer program is available:

Delayed power-off function (the appliance is in working status).
The appliance will stop once time reaches the setting value.
Use the TIMER button to set the time period (0-24 hours).

  • With the lapse of time, the TIMER lamp lighting up, will indicate the remaining time.
  • The unit will stop operating after the lapse of the set time.
  • The timer stops when the water tank is full of water. After the tank is empty, the timer will start.

STOP OPERATING

  1. Press the ¢’y button again.
  2. The MODE lamp will go off, and the unit will stop operating.
  3. Close the flap.

BUIIER Whenever each switch is pressed, the buzzer will sound.
NOTES:

  • Be sure to open the flap. If the flap is not opened carefully during operation, the overheat prevention device will work, and the unit will stop operating.
  • Due to the protective function of the machine, the dehumidifying operation will start after approximately 3 minutes, when the unit is plugged in or restarted immediately after stopped.
  • The efficiency of the dehumidifier is influenced by the air outside the room. For operating efficiently, try to avoid opening and closing the windows and doors.
  • For proper performance, operate the dehumidifier under the usable operating temperature. For safety purpose, the dehumidifying operation will be stopped automatically, and changed to the air cleaning operation when the ambient temperature is higher than approximately 36°C.
  • Circulation of the refrigerant may cause sound within the dehumidifier, when the operation is started. After the circulation is stable, the sound will be lower.

MAINTENANCE

| Keep your hands dry while plugging into or pulling off the plug, to avoid electric shock.

WHEN THE UNIT IS NOT IN USE FOR A LONG TIME

  1. Unplug the unit, bundle the power cord, and hang the bundled cord at the back of the unit.
  2. Empty the water out of the water tank, wipe the tank with a cloth, and replace in position.
  3. Clean the air clean filter.
  4. For storing, place the unit upright and avoid the exposure to the direct sunlight.

+ To avoid malfunction or abnormal sound, please keep the unit upright.

CLEANING

Wipe the dehudifier with a dry and soft cloth.

  • To remove heavy dirt, wipe it with a cloth tightly. Never use a wet cloth for cleaning the buttons.
  • To avoid deformation or cracking, do not use gasoline, thinner, or liquid cleaners.
  • Chemicals may cause the change in color of the unit.

WATER TANK

  • Pull out the water tank and take it out.
  • Wash the inside of the tank with water.
  • The tank may be scratched, if you scrub it strongly with a brush.
  • Do not remove the float lever from the tank.
  • Wipe off the water at the outside of the tank with a cloth and replace the tank as it was.

BACK AND SIDE AIR INTAKES
(maintenance every 2 weeks)

  • The dehumidifying capacity will be lowered when the air clean filter gets clogged.

  • Remove the back cover from the unit and remove the filter holder. Then take out the air clean filter and the back filter.

  • Pull the side cover towards and remove it from the unit.
    Remove the side filter from the unit.

  • To dislodge the dust from these filters, use a vacuum cleaner or pat them lightly.

  • If the filters are full, wash in water including neutral detergent, rinse well with water and leave it to dry.

  • Pat the air clean filter and dislodgethe dust from it.

AIR CLEAN FILTER
(maintenance every 6 months)

  • The life span of an air filter is approximately 6 months.
    NOTE: Do not make the air clean filter round or, damage it. Do not leave the filter unused after it is taken out of the bag.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Fault Possible Cause Fixing
No operation. Check if the power plug is disconnected. Connect the plug into

the power supply.
Check if the water tank is full of water.| Empty the water out of the tank.
Check if the water tank is not set properly in position.| Set the tank to the unit properly in position.
Check if all the flaps are closed.| Open one of the flaps.
Dehumidified volume is small.| Check if the filters got dirty.| Clean the filters as specified.
Check if the air openings are blocked up.| Remove obstacles from the air openings.
Check if the dehumidifier is in air clean mode.| Change the operation mode to the dehumidifying mode.
Loud sound while operating.| Check if the unit is not installed as specified.| Install the unit on a flat and stable floor.
Operation stops during spot dehumidifying.| Check if the room temperature is higher than the usable operating temperature.| The dehumidifying operation will start automatically when the temperature gets low.
Washed clothes are not dried.| Check if the washed clothes are not exposed to the air from the unit.| Try to expose the washed clothes to the airflow.
Check if the room temperature is too low.| Washed clothes are hard to be dried under low temperature conditions.

NORMAL CIRUMTANES

Circumstance Possible Reason
Operation stops occasionally. The unit is defrosting.
Dehumidified volume is small. Dehumidifier volume less than the room

temperature is low. The unit stops operating when the room
temperature is below the approximately. The unit stops dehudifying because the humidity in the room drops to 60% or less in Automatic mode.
The humidity in the room is still high.| The room size may be too large. The doors or the windows of the room may be opened and / or closed frequently. The dehumidifier is used together with a kerosene heater which emits vapor.
Bad smell during operation.| Smell is emitted from the walls, furniture or other objects.
Sound is produced within the unit.| Circulation of the refrigerant may cause sound until it is stable.
Water is left in the water tank.| The water is left because the unit is subjected to dehumidifying test in the factory.
The buzzer sounds.| The buzzer sounds when the water tank is full of water.
