OVER TEMPERATURE PROTECTION
If the battery or inverter temperature exceeds 70°C during operation, the temperature-protection circuit will shut off the unit in 1 minute to protect from overheating damage. The power button indicator will glow solid red for 1 minute. Allow the unit to cool until its temperature drops below 67°C before restarting.

LOW BATTERY PACK CHARGE PROTECTION
The inverter automatically shuts down 1 minute after the battery pack charge reached a low level.
Charge the battery pack.

OVERLOAD OR SHORT CIRCUIT PROTECTION
When the connected AC device draws more than the rated power of the port, the inverter LED indicator will flash red for 1 minute at 1 flash every 0.5 seconds. Then the inverter will automatically shut down.
Disconnect the AC device.

USING WITH EXTERNAL DEVICES
To power devices
When a charged battery pack is installed, the power inverter converts DC electricity to 220-240V AC household power and/or USB-A (5/9/12V, up to 18 VA) or USB-C output port 1 (5/9/12/15/20V, up to 18 VA) or USB-C input/output port 2 (5/9/12/15/20V, up to 100 VA) supply power, allowing the user to charge and power a variety of devices.

NOTE: When switching on the power inverter, if the USB output current is less than 100mA and the AC output power is less than 10VA, the system will shut off automatically in 2 hours.

To charge battery pack
The power inverter can charge the EGO battery when a USB-PD compatible charger is connected to the USB-C input/output port 2 (5/9/12/15/20V, up to 100 VA).

NOTE:

  • When incompatible charger is connected and the other ports are not connected to power devices, EGO battery will be charged by 5V1A or not be charged, and after 30 min, the inverter will turn off automatically.
  • When incompatible charger is connected and the other ports are connected to power devices, EGO battery will not be charged and after 30 min, the inverter will stop the charging with power button LED indicator only shows the indication of powering devices.

To connect external devices:

  • Insert a battery pack into the power inverter.
  • Press and hold the power button for more than a second to turn the inverter ON. The LED in the power button will illuminate green when the inverter is ready to use.
  • Connect devices into the power inverter’s USB ports and/or 220-240V (230V of center voltage) AC output port. The inverter will begin powering the devices automatically.
  • Connect compatible USB PD charger into the inverter’s USB-C input/output port 2 to charge the EGO battery installed on the inverter.
  • When the power inverter is not in use, disconnect the devices from the inverter, then press and hold the power button for more than a second to turn it OFF.
  • Remove the battery pack from the power inverter.

NOTE:

  • Runtime of the connected device is dependent upon the device and the EGO battery capacity.
  • Charging time of the EGO battery pack is dependent upon the USB PD charger.
  • The power inverter may get warm. This is part of the normal operation of the power inverter.
  • Always use the power inverter in a well-ventilated area.
  • Do not insert a nail, wire, etc. into the USB ports. Otherwise a short circuit may damage the USB ports.
  • When a power bank is connected, sometimes the GREEN LED of the power button fades in and out, that means “powering the power bank”. Sometimes the ORANGE LED fades in and out, that means “charging the EGO battery pack”.

MAINTENANCE

WARNING: To avoid serious personal injury, always disconnect all devices and remove the battery pack from the power inverter when cleaning or performing any maintenance.
WARNING: When servicing, use only identical EGO replacement parts. Use of any other parts may create a hazard or cause product damage. To ensure safety and reliability, all repairs should be performed by a qualified service technician.

GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use a clean cloth to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.
WARNING: Do not at any time allow brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-based products, penetrating oils, etc. to come in contact with plastic parts. Chemicals can damage, weaken or destroy plastic which may result in serious personal injury.
