ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Hendricks Large Globe Pendant
Item # RL 5402
NOTICE:
This light fixture should be installed in accordance with all applicable,
local installation codes, and by a person familiar with the construction and
operation of it, as well as the hazards involved. Inspect items and contents
carefully. If any damage or defect is found, do not install it.
Retain all packaging material until installation is complete and approved.

Remove metal disk (N) and paper washer (M) from top loop (J) by unscrewing metal disk (N).

Join top loop (J), paper washer (K), glass shade (L), and paper washer (M) together, and tighten by screw (N) to the bottom nipple of top loop (J).

Feed wire through the top loop (J), lower pole (H), upper pole (G), mounting loop (D), and mounting strap (A).

Thread the top nipple of socket assembly (O) into the bottom threaded opening of the top loop (J).

Thread the top threaded section of the rod (P) into the bottom threaded opening of the socket assembly (O).

Remove the paper washer (T) and metal cover (U) from the rod (P) by unscrewing the finial (V).

Insert light bulbs into the sockets. Carefully place the ring (R) on the top lip of the glass shade (S). Attach paper washer (Q), glass shade (S) with ring (R) to glass shade (L), letting the bottom nipple of the rod (P) pass through the center hole of shade (S), paper washer (T), metal cover (U) and secure with a finial (V).

Hook the lower pole (H) to the top loop (J). Thread the top nipple of the lower pole (H) into the bottom opening of the upper pole (G). Unscrewing canopy (E) and canopy ring (F). Attach mounting strap (A) to the ceiling outlet box and secure with mounting screws (B).

Insert top thread nipple (C) in mounting strap (A). Attach mounting loop (D) to thread nipple (C). Attach upper pole (G) with a fixture to mounting loop (D).

Attach the ground wire (bare wire) from the fixture to the ground junction box wire (usually green or copper wire). Fasten together with a plastic wire connector and wrap the connection with electrical tape. Be sure no wire strands are exposed.

Connect the neutral wire from the fixture (ridges molded wire) to the neutral wire from the junction box (usually white). Fasten together with a plastic wire connector and wrap the connection with electrical tape. Be sure no wire strands are exposed.

Connect the hot wire from the fixture (smooth wire) to the hot wire (usually black) from the junction box. Fasten each together with a plastic wire connector and wrap the connection with an electrical type.
Be sure that no wire strands are exposed.
DO NOT REVERSE THE HOT AND NEUTRAL CONNECTIONS OTHERWISE SAFETY WILL BE COMPROMISED. -
Tuck the wire connections neatly into the ceiling outlet box.

Slip canopy (E) to ceiling and secure with threaded canopy ring (F).
Care Instructions:
Clean only with a soft dry cloth or feather duster. Do not use abrasive or
chemical agents.
