- Read enclosed Safety Instruction Sheet and Operating Instructions before starting.
- Carefully remove plug from opening on side of the spool.
- Unwrap the lights, pull out plastic tab from remote, and test before decorating.
- Decorate your home with the light string.
- Plug light string into an 110V-125V wall receptacle, lights will turn on. Press power button on remote if they do not turn on when first plugged in.
- Remote control and button on control box allows you to select from 8 different effects:
- Combination
- Steady On
- Slow Flashing
- Fast Flashing
- Slow Fade In/Out
- Fast Fade In/Out
- Pulsating
- Step Fade
- Push the button marked “MODE” on remote or on control box to advance to next function (after lights are turned on).
- When plugging in more than one of the same 8 Function LED light string with remote, the units can be synchronized so that each is performing the same function at the same time.
- At end of holiday season, wrap the lights back on the spool in the reverse order by replacing the end connector into the opening on the side of the spool first.
Remote Control Battery Installation
This product requires 2 new “AAA” 1.5 V alkaline batteries (no included) for best performance.
- Gently open the battery cover by pushing in the tab & lifting the cover upwards.
- Clean the battery contacts and also those on the device prior to installing new batteries.
- Insert 2 new “AAA” batteries, matching the polarity shown inside the battery compartment.
- Replace all 2 batteries at the same time with a new set of batteries of the same brand.
- Replace cover.
Troubleshooting Tips
- If one bulb is not functioning – replace bulb with one of the spare bulbs provided by following the USER SERVICING INSTRUCTIONS on the Safety and User Instruction sheet.
- If all lights are out –
- Make sure there is power to the outlet or extension cord by plugging another product into that outlet, and make sure if the outlet is controlled by a switch or timer that it is turned on. If connected to an outlet protected by a GFCI, reset the GFCI outlet or breaker.
- Remove fuses and replace with the provided spare fuses by following USER SERVICING INSTRUCTIONS on the Safety and User Instruction sheet.
- Make sure all bulbs in that section are fully inserted.
- Starting at one end, replace a non-working bulb with one of the spare bulbs by following USER SERVICING INSTRUCTIONS on the Safety and User Instruction Sheet. Keep repeating with the spare bulb in each unlit socket until entire set lights.
- Make sure wires are in position at bottom of each bulb (see figure 1 for example) to make contact with brass contacts inside lampholder.
3 Year Limited Guarantee
Subject to the exclusions contained below, Seasonal Specialties LLC, at its option, will at no charge repair, replace (with same or equivalent product), or refund the purchase price if this product fails to light due to defects in material or workmanship within three (3) years from the date of purchase. To obtain service, ship the product prepaid along with the Original UPC & Original dated legible proof of purchase to Seasonal Specialties, L.L.C., 11455 Valley View Road, Eden Prairie, MN 55344, Attn: Customer Service. Allow six to eight weeks for handling. We are committed to making high quality products. Returning the product to us helps us to monitor and improve product quality.
Exclusions – This product is intended for residential seasonal use only (90 days maximum per year), and was pre-tested and date coded prior to shipment. This limited guarantee extends only to the first consumer purchaser, and is not transferable.
This guarantee does not include :
- commercial use,
- normal wear and tear,
- products not used in accordance with directions provided on or with the product,
- burnout of bulbs or LEDs,
- batteries,
- products that have been subjected to unauthorized repair, and/or modification, or
- damage caused by shipping, improper handling, alterations, misuse, or accidents.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. OTHERWISE THE REPAIR, REPLACEMENT, OR REFUND AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE CONSUMER, AND IS PROVIDED IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. IN NO EVENT SHALL SEASONAL SPECIALTIES, LLC BE LIABLE, WHETHER IN CONTRACT OR TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) FOR DAMAGES IN EXCESS OF THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT, OR FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF THE PRODUCT TO THE FULL EXTENT THESE DAMAGES MAY BE DISCLAIMED BY LAW.
