SureCall EZ 4G Cell Phone Booster
Product Information
The SureCall EZ 4GTM is an amplifier designed to boost cellular signals for improved coverage and signal strength. It includes a booster with a removable stand, RG6 Coax Cable, optional mounting tape (50 ft.), a power supply, and an inside tabletop antenna. Before installation, it is important to ensure adequate separation between the booster and the inside tabletop antenna. A separating wall between the two is preferable, and a separating floor is ideal. The EZ 4G booster performs best when placed at a window corner. The inside tabletop antenna should be placed in a central location where the signal is needed and at least 30 ft. from the booster location.
Product Usage Instructions
-
Step 1: Find the Area Inside with the Strongest Signal
Locate the window with the strongest cellular signal. -
Step 2: Place the Signal Booster
Once you have determined the inside location with the strongest signal, place the booster in that location. Connect one end of the provided cable to the cable connector on the booster. Note that placing the booster at a window corner will optimize its performance. -
Step 3: Place the Inside Tabletop Antenna
Place the inside tabletop antenna in a central location where the signal is needed and at least 30 ft. from the booster location. Run the provided cable from the booster to the inside tabletop antenna and hand-tighten. Increasing the separation between the booster and inside tabletop antenna will improve booster performance. -
Step 4: Connect Power
Once the booster and inside tabletop antenna are connected and in place, connect the power cord to the signal booster and plug it into a power outlet. -
Step 5: Enjoy Boosted Cell Signal
Place a call in the room where the inside tabletop antenna is located to confirm that your phone is receiving a boosted signal from the EZ 4G.
If you want to improve coverage or have any questions during setup, please reach out to SureCall’s experienced support technicians.

Setup Guide
Before installation, please ensure adequate separation between the planned locations of the booster and the inside tabletop antenna (at least 30 ft.). A separating wall between the booster and inside tabletop antenna is preferable and a separating floor is ideal.
-
Step 1. Find the Area Inside with the Strongest Signal
Locate the window with the strongest cellular signal. -
Step 2. Place the Signal Booster
Once you have determined the inside location with the strongest signal, place the booster in that location using one of the two options noted in the diagram, Placing the Signal Booster, and connect one end of the provided cable to cable connector on the booster. Note that the EZ 4G booster performs best when placed at a window corner. -
Step 3. Place the Inside Tabletop Antenna
Place the inside tabletop antenna in a central location where the signal is needed and at least 30 ft. from the booster location. Run the provided cable from the booster to the inside tabletop antenna and hand-tighten.
Note that further separation between the booster and inside tabletop antenna will increase booster performance. -
Step 4. Connect Power
Once the booster and inside tabletop antenna are connected and in place, connect the power cord to the signal booster and plug into a power outlet. -
Step 5. Enjoy Boosted Cell Signal
Place a call in the room where the inside tabletop antenna is located to confirm that your phone is receiving a boosted signal from the EZ 4G.
If you Want to Improve Coverage
- Test different booster locations to identify which receives the strongest signal and place the EZ 4G booster in that location.
- Try relocating one component (booster or antenna) to a separate floor (upstairs or downstairs).
- Increase the distance between the booster and inside tabletop antenna.

LED Indicators
LED
Position
| LED
Color
| LED
Condition
| Indication
---|---|---|---
Left| Yellow| Flashing| Automatic Gain Control (AGC) is self-adjusting. This
is part of normal operation.
Left| Red| Flashing| The booster is receiving too strong of a signal which
could cause the booster to auto- matically turn off
When this happens: Relocate the EZ 4G to a window location where the signal is weaker.
Right| Red| Flashing| Self-oscillation has been prevented.
When this happens: Increase the separation between the inside antenna and the EZ 4G booster.
Step 1: Finding the Strongest Signal Indoors
Note : Window films that block UV rays may also block cellular signals. When using a booster in a home comprised of film-coated windows, the booster may perform better when placed against a wall facing the exterior of the home.
Step 2: Placing the Signal Booster
-
Option 1
Apply the booster directly to the window (ideally, at a window corner) using the provided adhesive. -
Option 2
Use the provided stand to set the booster on the window sill (ideally, at a window corner). -
Step 3: Placing the Tabletop Antenna
-

FCC 27.50(d)(4) Statement: Fixed, mobile, and portable (hand-held) stations
operating in the 1720-1755 MHz band are limited 1 Watt EIRP. Fixed stations
operating in this band are limited to a maximum antenna height of 10 meters
above ground. Mobile and portable stations operating in this band must employ
a means for limiting power to the minimum necessary for successful
communications.
Note : This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits
for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These
limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses,

communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not
occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful

Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. The Manufacturer’s rated output power of this equipment is for single carrier operation. For situations when multiple carrier signals are present, the rating would have to be reduced by 3.5 dB, especially where the output signal is re-radiated and can cause interference to adjacent band users. This power reduction is to be done by means of input power or gain reduction and not by an attenuator at the output of the device.
Troubleshooting
Problem | Resolution |
---|---|
Signal booster has no power | Connect the power supply to an alternate power |
source.
Be sure the power source is not controlled by a switch that can remove power from the outlet.
Check the green POWER LED ( ) on the signal booster. If it is OFF, return the power supply to SureCall. Contact tech support at to receive an RMA at:
1-888-365-6283, support@surecall.com, or go to www.surecall.com 7:00 am – 5:00 pm PST, Monday – Friday to chat with a representative.
After install- ing your signal
booster system, you have no sig- nal or reception
| Verify that cable connections are tightly fitted to the booster and antenna. Try further separating the booster and antenna.
Verify that there is usable signal at the window where the booster is placed.
i Remember: Bars are not always a reliable measure of signal. The best way to confirm signal coverage is the ability to place and hold a call.
