SAFETY INFORMATION

  2. This appliance may be used by children 8 years of age and older and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, provided they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe manner and understand the potential hazards. Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance may not be performed by unsupervised children.
  3. The luggage scale is intended for household use only. Do not use the scale for commercial and laboratory purposes.
  4. Have all repairs carried out by a specialized service! Do not disassemble the scale or remove any components.
  5. The scale is designed for weighing luggage, backpacks, etc.
  6. Do not subject the scale to shocks, vibrations or drop it on the floor.
  7. To ensure weighing accuracy, do not use or place the scale near a strong magnetic field.
  8. Do not use the scale with a broken hook, damaged strap or retaining ring.
  9. Handle the scale carefully to avoid damage.
  10. Pets must not be weighed on the scale.
  11. Do not immerse the scale in water or any other liquid.
  12. Keep the scale clean. Follow the cleaning instructions in this manual. Do not wash the scale in running water.

Warning about batteries
When inserting batteries, follow the polarity markings in the battery space. Do not throw batteries into fire.
Do not short-circuit, disassemble or damage the batteries. Always replace the entire set of batteries at once.
Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries. Replace empty batteries in time to prevent electrolyte leakage. If you will not be using the appliance for a long time, remove the batteries.
DISPOSAL OF USED BATTERIES
**** Batteries contain materials harmful to the environment. Therefore, do not dispose of batteries in regular municipal waste. Dispose of used batteries properly at collection points.

USE

Before First Use
Remove the appliance and its accessories from the packaging. Before disposing of the packaging, be sure to remove all components. Check the appliance and accessories for damage. Remove insulator foil from battery contacts, otherwise scale will not function. If the scale cannot be switched on, check that the batteries are inserted or that the batteries are not discharged. Insert the batteries or replace the batteries with new ones.
Battery replacement
Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the scale. Remove empty batteries; use a suitable tool if necessary. Insert new batteries. Observe the correct polarity, which is marked on the bottom of the battery compartment. Attach cover plate and press down until it clicks into place.
Note: If the display shows the error message “Lo”, the batteries must be replaced.
Using the scale

  1. Pull the strap through the luggage handle and hook the strap hook into the locking ring.
  2. Switch the scale on with the button button and wait until the display shows “0”.
  3. Carefully lift the weight with the luggage. Lift perpendicularly. The display will show the weight of the luggage. The weight flashes three times on the display and then stabilizes.
  4. If you need to continue weighing from“0”,pressthe button briefly and the display will show “0” and “T”. The TARE function will be switched on.
  5. When the weighing is complete, press the button button for 3 seconds to turn the scale off. The scale also switches off after 2 minutes of inactivity.

Setting the target weight

  1. While the scale is starting, press the U/SET button until “S” appears on the display and the scale enters the target weight setting mode with the symbol on the display.
  2. Then use the or  U/SET buttons to set the target weight.
  3. Long press the U/SET button until “F” appears, indicating that the weight has been saved.
  4. Once the settings are complete, the display will light up red when the weight of the luggage is exceeded.

Weight unit change
When the scale is switched on, press the U/SET button briefly to switch between weight units (kg – lb).
Error messages

Err| If you load the scale more than the permissible limit, the following error message will appear on the display. Reduce the load to prevent damage
to the scale.

Low battery warning. Replace the batteries with new ones as instructed above.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Use a damp cloth to clean the scale and make sure that no water gets inside the scale. DO NOT use chemical / abrasive cleaning agents.
Do not immerse the scale in water!
Storage
Store the scale in a safe, dry place. If you will not be using the scale for a long time, remove the batteries.
