Thank you for purchasing a SIGURO appliance. We are grateful for your trust and we are pleased to introduce the device to you on the following pages and acquaint you  with all its functions and uses.

SAFETY INFORMATION

Please read this manual carefully before use and keep it for future reference.

  1. This appliance is intended for use by children 8 years of age and older and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, provided they have been given supervision or instruction in the use of the appliance in a safe manner and understand the potential hazards. Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision.

  2. Make sure that the power cord or extension cord cannot be accidentally pulled out of the socket during operation.

  3. Carry the appliance only by holding the body of the fan.

  4. Make sure that the voltage in your outlet corresponds to the  voltage indicated on the type plate of the appliance and that the outlet is properly grounded.

  5. Never use the appliance if the power cord is damaged, if the appliance has fallen on the ground or is not working properly. Have all repairs, including the replacement of the power cord, carried out by a specialist service! Do not remove the protective covers of the device, there is a risk of electric shock!

  6. Protect the device from direct contact with water and other liquids to prevent electric shock.

  7. Do not use the appliance outdoors or in a humid environment or touch the power cord or the appliance with wet hands. There is a risk of electric shock.

  8. Do not use the appliance in the immediate vicinity of places where  heat accumulates (near the stove, heater, etc.).

  9. Pay extra attention when using the fan near children!

  10. Place the fan out of reach of other objects so that you ensure free air circulation that is needed for it proper operation. Never cover the fan openings!

  11. Do not use this fan with a programmer, timer, stand ‑alone remote control system, or any other device that automatically switches the fan, since there is a risk of fire if the fan is covered or incorrectly positioned.

  12. Never place the fan on soft surfaces such as a bed, sofa, etc. It must be placed on a stable and level surface.

  13. If the appliance emits an unusual odour or smoke, unplug it immediately and take it to a service centre.

  14. Do not switch the appliance on and off by inserting or removing the plug. Always switch off the fan with the main switch first, then you can unplug the power cord!

  15. We recommend that you do not leave the fan unattended with the power cord plugged in. Unplug the power cord from the AC outlet before maintenance. Do not pull the plug out of the outlet by the cord. Disconnect the cable from the outlet by grasping the
    plug.

  16. The power cable must not touch hot parts or run over sharp  edges.

  17.  Do not insert fingers or other objects into the fan openings.

  18. This appliance is intended for household use only.

  19. This appliance is not intended for outdoor use.

  20. To prevent overheating, do not cover the fan.

  21. The fan may only be used if it is properly and completely assembled, including the support base and the protective grille.

  22. The manufacturer declines any liability for damage caused by improper use or failure to follow the instructions in this manual. Improper use or non ‑compliance with the instructions will void the warranty.

ASSEMBLY

  1. Attach the height ‑adjustable column to the base. Fix it firmly on the bottom side of the base using the enclosed nut and screw.
  2. Adjust the height of the column as needed by releasing the knob. After adjusting the height of the column, tighten the button and insert the fan body on the column. Tighten using the included locking screw (3). Use a screwdriver to secure the locking screw.SIGURO SGRFNK350W Stand Fan - screw
  3. Place the rear grille on the motor body so that the protrusions in the motor fit into the corresponding hole in the grille. Secure the grille by tightening the it clockwise.
  4. Place the propeller on the motor shaft and secure it with a nut. ATTENTION: Tighten the propeller nut counter ‑clockwise.SIGURO SGRFNK350W Stand Fan - motor
  5. Place the front grille on the rear grille. For safety reasons, the two grilles must be secured together with clips on the sides of the grilles and fixed with a screw screwed into the hole in the bottom of the grille.

  • You can use the control panel on the body of the appliance or the remote control to control the fan. The buttons for both controls and their functions are described below.
  • Before using the remote control, you must insert in it two AAA batteries.
  • Plug the power adapter connector into the plug on the back of the fan body, and then plug it into an electrical outlet.
  • “0” lights up on the display, indicating that the fan is ready for use.
  • Turn the fan on/off by pressing the  ****button on the remote controller or on the control panel.

Set mode
The fan offers three modes:

  • Normal: the device runs according to the current setting and at a constant fan speed.
  • Natural: the motor will automatically operate in a high ‑ medium ‑ low speed alternating cycle.
  •  Night: the motor first runs at high speed and then switches to minimum speed and remains so until the fan is switched off.

To switch between the modes use the button m on the control panel or on the remote controller. You will go through individual modes by successively pressing the button in the sequence Normal ‑ Natural ‑ Night ‑ Normal.

USE

Rotation speed setting
Use the button to set speed on the remote controller or the button on the control  panel. The fan has 3 speeds, which you can switch between by pressing the button. The current speed level will be shown on the display above the control panel.
Timer function
This function allows you to set the time and when it elapses the fan will turn off automatically.
Set the timer by repeatedly pressing the button on the remote controller or on the control panel. You can set the timer from 1 to 7 hours. After setting, the corresponding indicator on the control panel will light up. If none of the indicators are lit, the timer
function is turned off.
Horizontal oscillation
Turn the horizontal oscillation of the fan motor on/off by either pulling or pressing the lever on the fan motor body (13).
Vertical tilt
To adjust the vertical tilt of the fan motor, grasp the motor head and tilt it in the desired direction. You will hear a click indicating that the head is locked in the selected position. The tilt range is about 45°.SIGURO

CLENING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Unplug the power cord before cleaning the fan!
  • Use soft dry cloth for cleaning. Do not use thinner, gasoline or other aggressive cleaning agents containing solvents.
  • Make sure that no liquid enters the device.
  • Protect the appliance from water and high humidity!
  • Never immerse the fan in water.
  • If the fan will not be used for a long time, it must be protected from dust and moisture. We recommend storing it in the original packaging.
  • In the event of a malfunction or an unusual odour, disconnect the appliance from the power supply and have it checked by an authorized service centre.
  • You can use a vacuum cleaner with a dust nozzle to clean the grilles.
  • Check the rear fan grille once a week and use a vacuum cleaner to clean it.
  • We recommend to keep the packaging for possible moving or storing the fan.
