SAFETY INFORMATION

For your safe and efficient use of our products,Please read all warnings carefully before using the radio:

  • This equipment should be installed and operated with minimum distance 1.5m between the radiator& your body.
  • Maintain a safe use distance of at least 150cm .
  • Confirm that the sample is embedded and only the screen part is exposed to avoid high-temperature burns on the metal shell.
  • Maintenance must be carried out by professional technicians. Do not disassemble and assemble without permission.
  • Setup and installation must be approved by the local radio authority.
  • Lightning protection measures must be taken when installing antennas. Otherwise, serious loss of life and property may occur.
  • Make sure to use qualified accessories such as power supply, antenna, lightning arrester, feeder line, power divider and install them correctly. Otherwise, the digital indoor base station may be damaged.

Product Installation

Installation requirements

Installation environment
The product must be installed in the environment where the temperature -30℃~+60℃, the relative humidity < 95%, dry and ventilated.

Installation site
The product can be installed on racks and supports, or placed on a workbench.

Installation tool
The following tool is required to install: cross screwdriver.

Preparation before installation

Supply check
The DC power supply or battery is used. Check whether the DC power supply voltage or the battery voltage is within the operating voltage range(13.6V±15%).

Product check
After the device is powered on, check whether the LCD display and LED indicators on the panel are normal.

Parameter configuration
After confirming that the product is running properly, configure the product parameters such as operating frequency, transmitting power.etc, by using CPS based on actual requirements.Then you can enter the field installation.

Installation procedure

Procedure as follows:

  1. Install this product in the required location.
  2. Connect the accessories such as antennas, feeder lines and power cords to this product.

Basic operation

Power on/off
When the mobile is in power-off state, long press for more than 3 seconds,then the LCD will light up and enter the power-on state. When the mobile is in power-on state, long press for more than 3 seconds,then the device will shut down.

Channel/volume switching
The channel can be set by CPS,then switched by channel/volume knob.

Power switching
The device can be set to high or low power through CPS, or switched by setting programmable keys 1 and 2. LCD displaying H indicates high power status, while displaying L indicates low power status.

Troubleshooting guide

Problem description analysis solution
Power on fail Check whether the power button works properly and the power
cord is connected reliably. Connect the power cord correctly and reliably,

hold down the power button for more than 3 seconds, and the LCD will light up.





The mobile can not communicate properly

| The frequency of TX of mobile do not match that of RX.| Check whether the communication frequency is matched and set it as the matching frequency.
The working frequency is

interfered by strong signal.

| Locate the interference source. If the interference source cannot be turned off,keep away from it or change the signal frequency.
The terminal is not in range of the mobile signal| Get back in range of signal to talk.



The terminal receives a receiving tip, but the system group can not communicate properly.

| The ID number of the terminal is the same as that of other members in

the group.

| Set an ID number that is different from that of other group members.
The ID number is not in the group list.| Check whether the ID is in the group list. If it is not, add the terminal ID to the group list.
The CTCSS/CDCSS of the terminal does not match that of  the channel machine.| Check whether the CTCSS/CDCSS matches and reset if necessary.
Talking range is short, or the voice is not clear.| Connection cable is damaged.| Check the cable, and replace it if necessary.
The antenna port and cable connector are loose or off| Check the joint, tighten the joint, and replace it with a new one if necessary.
Internal damage to the cable.| Replace new cable.

Maintenance and cleaning

In order to ensure the good performance of this product and extend its service life, please be familiar with the following content to better maintain and clean this product.

Maintenance

  • Please ensure the product in an environment that is ventilated and easy to heat dissipation, so that each component works normally.
  • Do not place irrelevant items on this product to ensure effective heat dissipation.
  • Do not puncture or scratch this product with hard objects.
  • Do not store this product in an environment that contains substances that corrode electronic circuits.
  • Do not immerse this product in any caustic, solution or water.

Cleaning

  • Please use a clean and dry lint-free cloth or brush regularly to wipe the dust attached to each part of the product to keep it clean and prevent poor contact.
  • If the buttons, control knobs, display and interfaces of this product become dirty, they can be cleaned using a non-woven cloth dipped with neutral detergent. Do not clean with strong corrosive chemicals such as detergent, alcohol, sprays or petroleum preparations.
  • After cleaning, ensure that the product is thoroughly dry, otherwise do not use.
