USE

Before first use
Remove the appliance from the packaging Check the appliance for damage. Wipe the appliance with a clean, dry cloth.

Use

  1. Select a suitable pot/container and place it on a dry, level, and heat-resistant surface. We recommend that the depth of the pot/container be at least 15 cm.

  2. Remove the screw clamp and attach it to the edge of the pot/container.

  3. Insert the sous vide cooker vertically into the clamp and make sure that it does not move.

  4. Pour clean and cold drinking water into the pot/container. The water level must be between the MIN and MAX lines. Keep in mind that after inserting the food bag, the water level will rise, so it is important not to fill the pot/container with water close to the MAX line.
    Warning:
Never fill the pot/container above the MAX line. The water level must not exceed the MAX line even after inserting the food bag.
    Note:
The sous vide cooker is equipped with a safety device against water boiling out from the pot/container. It switches off the sous vide cooker when the level drops be-low the MIN line. This will prevent possible water boiling out and damage to the sous vide cooker or dangerous situation.

  5. Plug the device into a properly grounded electrical outlet.

  6. Press briefly the button and the sous vide cooker turns on.

  7. Press briefly the SET button and the temperature icon lights up. Use the +/- buttons to set the temperature. Use the + button to increase the temperature, the – button to decrease the temperature. Each brief press increases or decreases the temperature by 0.1 °C. Press and hold to speed up the temperature setting. The maximum possible set temperature is 95 °C.

  8. Press again briefly the SET button and the cooking icon lights up. Use the +/- buttons to set the cooking time. Use the + button to increase the cooking time, the – button to shorten the cooking time. Each brief press increases or decreases the cooking time by 1 minute. Press and hold to speed up the cooking time setting. The maximum possible cooking time is 99:59.

  9. Press briefly the button and the sous vide cooker will start. Press again the button and the cooker pauses operation. Press again the button and the sous vide cooker resumes operation. Press and hold the button to turn of the cooker.
    Note:
It is necessary to set the temperature and cooking time before starting. Otherwise, it is not possible to start the sous vide cooker.

  10. Food that you want to prepare using the Sous Vide method must be pre-vacuumed in special bags that are intended for cooking. You can season the food before vacuuming.

  11. We recommend dividing different foods into multiple bags,
as they may require different cooking times. For meat, we recommend vacuuming each piece separately.

  12. Put the food bag in water. The bag should be completely immersed in water. Attach the bag to the edge of the pot/container. If you are going to prepare cook bags at the same time, place a wooden spoon over the pot/container and attach the individual bags to it. For example, if the bags float on the surface, use a lid smaller in diameter than the container to press the bags down and keep them submerged.

  13. When the water temperature reaches the set temperature, an acoustic signal sounds and the set cooking time countdown starts.

  14. Check regularly the condition of cooked food and water level. If water needs to be topped up, pour water into the pot/container ideally at the temperature as in the pot/container to avoid a rapid decrease in water temperature, which could affect cooking time, resulting in taste and consistency.
    Warning:
Eating raw or uncooked meat, seafood, shellfish or eggs can cause serious health complications.

  15. When the set cooking time has elapsed, an acoustic signal sounds and the sous vide cooker switches off.

  16. Remove the food from the pot/container, cut the bag and serve. Wear protective kitchen gloves when handling the bag, pot/pan or sous vide cooker.

Warning:
Be very careful when handling the bag. The bag, water and sous vide cooker are very hot and there is a risk of burns. Take extra care when opening the bag to avoid scalding from escaping steam.

  • Clean the sous vide cooker after each use.
  • Check the sous vide cooker regularly for damage.
  • Removing the protective cover: Grasp the top of the cooker with one hand and the protective cover with the other. Turn the protective cover counterclockwise and release it. Then carefully pull it downward. If the protective cover is difficult to remove, gently rock it from side to side until the cover is released.

FREQUENT QUESTIONS

Is it possible to cook several foods at the same time?
Yes. Prepare each portion in a separate bag and choose a large enough pot/container. The taste and aroma do not mix during preparation. We recommend cooking the same types of food at the same time.

Can the end of the sous vide cooker touch the bottom of the pot/pan?
Yes, because the water will flow horizontally through the holes to ensure water circulation.

Is it possible to tilt the sous vide cooker?
No, that’s forbidden. The sous vide cooker must remain in a vertical position throughout the cooking process.

Is the sous vide cooker noisy?
While the sous vide cooker is in operation, it runs relatively quietly. However, if you notice any non-standard noise, stop using it and contact an authorized service center.

A bubbling sound is heard during the operation.
This is a normal occurrence. The water is sucked in through the openings to ensure circulation, air is blown into it and then the water is discharged out. Small bubbles form at that time and a quiet bubbling can be heard.

Low level of water in pot/container.
Once the sensor detects that the water level has dropped below the MIN line, the protection device against water boiling out from the pot/container is activated. This switches off the sous vide cooker in order to prevent possible water boiling out of the pot and damage to the sous vide cooker, or dangerous situation.
