Product Information

The SGR-KG-M330B Knife Sharpener is a device designed to sharpen and polish various types of knives. It comes with three types of whetstones, each serving a different purpose. The diamond surface whetstones are used to repair damaged blades and straighten edges before sharpening. The tungsten steel whetstones are intended for sharpening the edge into a V shape, while the ceramic whetstones are designed to polish the blade and smooth surface irregularities that may have occurred during sharpening.

PRODUCT Safety Information

  1. Place the knife sharpener on a firm and level work surface.
  2. Hold the sharpener firmly by the handle during the entire sharpening process.
  3. To achieve high-quality sharpening, it is important to pass the knife several times through each opening. Do not press on the knife when sharpening; the pressure during passing through should be constant and adequate.
  4. Make sure the knife blade is clean and dry.
  5. Insert the blade with the wide end near the handle into the whetstone 1 and pull it towards you. Repeat this process several times (at least five times and more depending on the condition of the blade) in each clean water, dry it and store the knife in a safe place.
  6. If you are going to sharpen ceramic knives, always use only ceramic whetstones. Otherwise, there is a risk of damage to the ceramic knife.

PRODUCT Cleaning and Maintenance

Wipe the whetstones and the sharpener with a slightly moistened sponge. Wipe dry. Do not use plastic or metal scouring pads, harsh cleaning agents, chemicals, gasoline, solvents or other similar substances for cleaning. The surface finish could be seriously damaged. Store the knife sharpener in a dry place out of reach of the children.

Do not expose the sharpener to extreme temperatures. Do not place the sharpener near an oven, stove or other heat sources. Do not use the knife sharpener to sharpen new knives.

USE
