Product Information

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry, flat, strong enough, and 1/4 larger than the canopy on all sides. Correct any gaps exceeding 3/16 as required.
  2. Check if the ceiling or wall can support the weight of the lamp before installation.
  3. Ensure the voltage being used is 120V. The maximum wattage per bulb is Type B, Max 40W.
  4. Keep the lamp away from acidic and alkaline substances to avoid damaging the surface.
  5. When replacing bulbs, turn off or unplug the lamp and wait until it is cool as bulbs get hot quickly.
  6. Follow common sense, caution, and care when using any electrical products.

Assembly & Installation Instructions:

  1. Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and check that all parts and accessories are included.
  2. Make pre-installation preparations by using chain pliers to disconnect and discard the unwanted part. Gently pull the wires to ensure they are not stressed.
  3. Install the mounting plate, ensuring it is at least 6 inches in diameter.
  4. Connect the wires as shown in the provided chart. Note that the ground wire is a bare copper wire and should not be connected to other wires.

    » Go to the main fuse, or circuit breaker, box in your home.
    Place the main power switch in the “OFF” position.
    » Place the wall switch in the “OFF” position.

  4. Mounting surface should be clean, dry, flat, strong enough and 1/4” larger than the canopy on all sides. Any gaps between the mounting surface and canopy exceeding 3/16” should be corrected as required.

  5. Make sure that the ceiling or wall can stand the weight of the lamp before installation.

  7. Keep the lamp away from acidic and alkaline substances in case of damaging the surface of the lamp.

  8. When replacing bulbs, you should turn off or unplug the lamp and you must wait until it is cool as bulbs get hot quickly.

ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and check that all parts and accessories are included as shown in the above illustration.
  2. Make pre-installation

Step A1 » By measuring, determine the correct number of links needed for proper hanging height. Using the chain pliers, disconnect and discard the unwanted part.
Step A2 » Screw tubes (J) and pipes (L) onto top of arm assembly (K) as shown in the illustration
Step A3 » Attach quick links (G) to chains (I) and loops (F) on the top of tubes (J).
Step A4 » Carefully weave the fixture wires through chain (I) in and out of every other link and stop just when you reach the top of chain (I). Gently pull the wires to ensure the wires are not stressed.

Turn off power

Before you start the installation, NEVER attempt any work without shutting off the electricity until the work is done.

  • Go to the main fuse, or circuit breaker, box in your home.
    • Place the main power switch in the “OFF” position.
  • Place the wall switch in the “OFF” position

Make installation

  • Step B1 » Unscrew knob nuts (H) from mounting plate (A).

  • Step B2 » Attach mounting plate (A) to the outlet box with mounting screws (D).

  • Step B3 » If needed, shorten the fixture wires length. At this point, the remaining wire length measured above mounting plate (A) is at least 6″.

  • Step B4 » Make wire connections

    • Connect wires as below wires connection shown. PLEASE NOTE THAT GROUND WIRE IS BARE COPPER WIRE, NEVER CONNECT OTHER WIRES TO GROUND WIRES.

      Note: When parallel wires (SPT I& SPT ll) are used. The neutral wire is square shaped or ridged and the other wire will be round in shape or smooth (see illus.)
      Twist wires together with plastic wire connectors until tightly joined, and wrap each connector with approved electrical tape. Be sure that no wire strands are exposed and then carefully tuck all wires into the outlet box
  • Step B5 » Raise canopy (E) to the ceiling and secure canopy (E) in place by tightening knob nuts (H) onto pre-assembled screws on mounting plate (A).
    NOTE : canopy (E) should be snug against the ceiling with knob nuts (H). If not, remove canopy (E), adjust the threaded length of pre-assembled mounting screws on mounting plate (A):

    • First, unscrew the pre-assembled hex nuts.
    • Then, screw the pre-assembled mounting screws in or out of mounting plate (A).
    • When the secure length is achieved, tighten the pre-assembled hex nuts and back to Step B5.
  • Step B6 »

    • Remove screws (O) from socket assemblies (M).
    • Attach glass shades-A (N) to the opposite sides of socket assemblies (M) with screws (O) as shown in the illustration.
    • Insert glass shades-B (P) into the grooves of glass shades-A (N) as shown in the illustration.
    • Thread screws (O) to holes of socket assemblies (M) to secure glass shades-B (P) as shown in the illustration.
    • Install bulbs (Not included) (Please do not exceed the maximum wattage recommended on the socket.)

Check everything is already installed properly, then you could turn on the light. Enjoy

CLEANING
To clean, wipe the fixture with a soft cloth. Clean glass with a mild cleaner (such as mild and non-abrasive soap). Do not use abrasive materials such as scouring pads or powders, steel wool or abrasive paper.
