Product Information

This product is a ceiling lamp with item number A03569W5. It has a maximum wattage of 60W per bulb and requires a voltage of 120V. The lamp comes with a mounting plate, green ground screw, back plate, stud, arm, socket cup, and glass shade. The package also includes plastic anchors, plastic wire connectors, wood screws, mounting screws, and an iron bar. The lamp should be kept away from acidic and alkaline substances that may damage its surface. When replacing bulbs, the lamp must be turned off or unplugged and allowed to cool down before handling.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Prepare the required tools for assembly and installation, which include a ladder, Philips head or flat blade screwdriver, electrical tape, pliers, and wire cutter/stripper.
  2. Check that all parts and accessories are included in the package before starting assembly.
  3. Turn off the power before starting the installation. Never attempt any work without shutting off the electricity until the work is done.
  4. If drilling holes on the wall for anchors, attach the mounting plate to the outlet box with mounting screws, mark the holes, remove the mounting plate, drill the holes, knock the anchors into the holes, and secure the mounting plate to the outlet box with mounting screws and wood screws.
  5. Connect wires according to the chart provided in the manual. Note that the ground wire is a bare copper wire and should never be connected to other wires.
  6. Install the lamp by attaching the back plate to the mounting plate using the provided screws and attaching the arms to the back plate using the provided studs.
  7. Screw in the socket cups and attach the glass shades to complete the installation.

WARNING (To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury):

  1. We suggest installation by a licensed electrician.

  2. Please read the instruction carefully and save it as you may need it at a later time.

  3. Before you start, NEVER attempt any work without shutting off the electricity until the work is done.
    Go to the main fuse, or circuit breaker, box in your home.
    Place the main power switch in the “OFF” position.
    Place the wall switch in the “OFF” position.

  4. Mounting surface should be clean, dry, flat, strong enough and 1/4” larger than the canopy on all sides. Any gaps between the mounting surface and canopy exceeding 3/16” should be corrected as required.

  5. Make sure that the ceiling or wall can stand the weight of the lamp before installation.

  6. Make sure the voltage you are using is 120V. The maximum wattage is 60W per bulb.

  7. Keep the lamp away from acidic and alkaline substances in case of damaging the surface of the lamp.

  8. When replacing bulbs, you should turn off or unplug the lamp and you must wait until it is cool as bulbs get hot quickly.

  9. The safety instructions appearing in this manual are not meant to cover all possible conditions that may occur. It must be understood that common sense, caution and care must be used with any electrical products.

ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and check that all parts and accessories are included as shown in the above illustration.

  2. Turn off power
    Before you start the installation, NEVER attempt any work without shutting off the electricity until the work is done.
    Go to the main fuse, or circuit breaker, box in your home.
    Place the main power switch in the “OFF” position.
    Place the wall switch in the “OFF” position.

  4. Step A1 » Unscrew studs (H) from back plate (G) then gently remove mounting plate (E). Then set them aside for later installation.

  5. Step A2 » Carefully pass the supply wires from the outlet box through mounting plate (E).
    NOTE : To drill the holes on the wall for anchors (A), attach mounting plate (E) to the outlet box with mounting screws D and mark the holes.
    Unscrew mounting screws (D) and remove mounting plate (E), drill holes and gently knock anchors
    (A) into the holes until anchors (A) are level with the wall. Secure mounting plate (E) to the outlet box with mounting screws (D) and wood screws (C).

  6. Step A3 » Make wire connections
    Connect wires as below wires connection shown. PLEASE NOTE THAT GROUND WIRE IS BARE COPPER WIRE, NEVER CONNECT OTHER WIRES TO GROUND WIRES.

  7. Twist wires together with plastic wire connectors until tightly joined.

  8. Wrap each connector with approved electrical tape.

  9. Be sure that no wire strands are exposed and then carefully tuck all wires into the outlet box.

  10. Step A4  Position back plate (G) and mounting plate (E) in place, carefully thread studs (H) through the holes in back plate (G) and mounting plate (E). Secure them by tightening studs (H).

  12.  Carefully place glass shades (L) on socket cups (K).
    Connect ground wires according to the below chart

    Note: When parallel wires (SPT I& SPT ll) are used. The neutral wire is square shaped or ridged and the other wire will be round in shape or smooth (see illus.)LNC-A03569W5-5-Light-Vanity-Light-fig-

  13. Secure glass shades (L) with iron bars (J). Tighten till snug.

  14. Install bulbs (Not included (Please do not exceed the maximum wattage recommended on the socket.)

  15. Check everything is installed properly, then you could turn on the light. Enjoy!

CLEANING

To clean, wipe the fixture with a soft cloth. Clean glass with a mild cleaner (such as mild and non-abrasive soap). Do not use abrasive materials such as scouring pads or powders, steel wool or abrasive paper.
