SONY VR2 Sense Controller Charging Station
Health and Safety
- Before using this product, carefully read this manual and any manuals for compatible hardware. Retain instructions for future reference. Parents or guardians of children should read this manual for safe use.
- This product has been designed with the highest concern for safety. However, any electrical device, if used improperly, has the potential for causing fire, electrical shock or personal injury. Observe all warnings, precautions, and instructions. Stop use and disconnect the AC power cord immediately if the product functions in an abnormal manner, produces unusual sounds or smells or becomes too hot to touch.

MAGNETS AND MEDICAL DEVICES
This product has magnets which may interfere with pacemakers, defibrillators and programmable shunt valves or other medical devices. Do not place this product close to such medical devices or persons who use such medical devices. Consult your doctor before using this product if you use such medical devices.
Precautions
- AC adaptor and AC power cord
- Only use the AC adaptor, charging adaptor and AC power cord included with the product. The AC adaptor and AC power cord are designed specifically for use with this product only, and the charging adaptor is for the PlayStation VR2 Sense™ controller only. Do not use them with any other products.
- Do not connect the AC power cord to a voltage transformer or inverter. Connecting the cord to a voltage transformer for overseas travel or an inverter for use in a vehicle may cause it to heat up in the AC adaptor and may cause burns or a malfunction.
- Unplug the cord and cables if you want to clean or move the product or do not intend to use it for an extended period of time. When disconnecting, hold the cord by the plug and pull straight out of the socket. Never pull by the cord and do not pull out at an angle.
- Liquid, dust, smoke, steam, and heat
- Always ensure the product and its connectors are free of liquid, excess dust and small particles.
- Do not leave the product in the following areas during use, storage, or transportation.
- Areas exposed to smoke or steam
- Areas with high humidity, dust, or cigarette smoke
- Areas near heating appliances, areas exposed to direct sunlight, or areas that retain heat
- Set up and handling
- Do not use the cords if they are damaged or modified.
- Do not place heavy items on the product, adaptor or cord, throw or drop the product, or otherwise expose it to strong physical impact.
- Do not place the product on surfaces that are unstable, tilted, or subject to vibration.
- Do not leave the product on the floor.
- Do not walk on the cord or cables or pinch them, particularly at plugs, receptacles, connectors and where they exit from the product.
- Do not pull or bend the cord with excessive force.
- Do not touch the plugs, connectors or insert any foreign objects into them or the product.
- Arrange the cables carefully to avoid tripping over them.
- Do not swing the product or adaptor around by their cord.
- Do not expose the product, battery, or accessories to high temperatures, high humidity, or direct sunlight during operation, transportation, and storage.
Use and handling
Never disassemble or modify the product or accessories
Use the product and accessories according to the instructions in this manual.
No authorisation for the analysis or modification of the product, or the
analysis and use of its circuit configurations, is provided. Unauthorised
modification of the product will void your manufacturer’s guarantee.
Care and cleaning
Follow the precautions below to help prevent the product exterior from
deteriorating or discolouring.
- Do not apply volatile substances such as insecticide.
- Do not allow rubber or vinyl materials to be in prolonged contact with the product.
- Do not use thinner, benzine, or alcohol. Avoid using wipes, chemically-treated cloths, and other products that contain such substances.
- Wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
Charging
- Connect the supplied AC power cord to the supplied AC adaptor. Then, connect the AC adaptor to the DC IN connector on the charging station.
Make all connections before plugging the AC power cord into an electrical outlet.
- Attach the charging adaptors to the PlayStation VR2 Sense™ controller.
The left and right charging adaptors are interchangeable.

Attach each of the controllers to the charging station.
With the charging adaptors attached, insert each controller into the charging station’s connector. The controller’s status indicator will slowly blink white and turn off when charging is complete.- Do not use the controllers while charging.
- The charging station can charge a right and left controller at the same time.
To remove the controller
- Lift the controller out of the charging station to remove it.
- You can still use the controller while the charging adaptor is attached.
Charging time
It takes approximately 1.5 hours to charge the controllers when the battery
has no remaining charge.

safety and convenience. Should the fuse in the plug supplied need to be
replaced, a 5AMP fuse approved by ASTA or BSI to BS1362, (i.e., marked with or
mark) must be used. If the plug supplied with this equipment has a detachable
fuse cover, be sure to attach the fuse cover after you change the fuse. Never
use the plug without the fuse cover. If you should lose the fuse cover, please
contact your nearest Sony service station.
