Product Information
The product is an item with the model number 6405/6406-66A, manufactured on December 30, 2022. It is an electrical fixture designed for installation in a junction box. The fixture includes a mounting plate, a large rod (J), bars (K), a metal ring (I), a metal cover (H), nuts (G), screws (M), and a canopy (D).
Product Usage Instructions
- Before starting the installation, make sure to shut off the power at the fuse box or circuit breaker.
- Remove the old fixture, including the mounting hardware.
- Carefully unpack the new fixture and lay out all the parts in a clean area.
- Secure the large rod (J) to the all thread (C) on top of the fixture body.
- Secure the bars (K) to the fixture body using screws (M).
- Slide the metal ring (I) and metal cover (H) over the large rod (J). Align them with the bars (K) and secure them with nuts (G).
- Determine the desired hanging height and thread rods F1, F2, and F3 to the all thread on the large rod (J). Screw the canopy (D) to rod F1. Pass the wires through each rod during assembly.
- Attach the mounting plate (A) to the junction box using mounting screws (B). Ensure that the side of the mounting plate with “GND” marked on it and two convex points face outwards.
- Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig. 2. Connect the fixture wires (black or smooth) to the house wires (black, hot), the fixture wires (white or ribbed) to the house wires (white, neutral), and the fixture wires (bare copper) to the house wires (green, ground).
- Once the installation is complete, restore power to the junction box and test the fixture.

WARNING! SHUT POWER OFF AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER.
PREPARATION (Fig.1)
- Shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box and remove the old fixture including the mounting hardware.
- Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts in a clean area. Take care not to misplace any small parts necessary for installation.
- Secure large rod (J) to all thread (C) on top of fixture body.
- Secure bars (K) to the fixture body using screws (M).
- Slide metal ring (I) and metal cover (H) over large rod (J). Align metal ring (I) and metal cover (H) with bars (K) and secure with nuts (G).
- Determine the desired hanging height and thread rods (F1, F2 and F3) to all thread on large rod (J). Screw canopy (D) to rod (F1). Carefully pass the wires through each rod during assembly.
- Attach mounting plate (A) to the junction box (not included) with mounting screws (B) (Size: #8-32N*L0.5”).
The side of the mounting plate (A) with “GND” marked on it and two convex points must face out.
CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 2)
- Connect the electrical wires as shown in fig 2, making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your junction box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the mounting plate (A) using the green screw provided.
- Tuck wire connectors neatly into the junction box.
COMPLETING THE INSTALLATION (Fig. 1)
- Place canopy (D) over mounting plate (A) and secure with screws (E).
- Install (1) one medium base bulb (N) up to100 watts each or CFL or LED equivalent (not included) in accordance with the fixture specification. —DO NOT EXCEED THE
MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING!
Place glass shade (O) over socket (P) and twist to secure to the socket cup.
Your installation is now complete. Return power to the junction box and test
the fixture.
