Welcome to product
Thank you for showing your confidence in us by purchasing the DAC155. This
manual contains important instructions for setting up and operating your
equipment. Please take a few minutes to read the instructions below carefully
before operating the equipment. Please keep the manual for future reference.
This is a compact phono preamplifier. Turntables have low-level signals. However, most audio units can only process line-level signals. Between a turntable and another audio unit (a mixer, an amplifier, or a recording unit), the DAC155 acts as an intermediary, as follows:
- The DAC155 equalizes a turntable signal according to RIAA specifications.
- The DAC155 amplifier the RIAA equalized signal.
- The DAC155 outputs a line-level signal.
Setup Example
Note:
- Do not simultaneously use both DAC155 OUTPUTS.
- In case the volume level of the signal source is set too high, the DAC155 may produce distortion!
- The product only supports phono input, using other devices will cause noise at high volume due to excessive input.

Connectors and Control Elements
This selection illustrates and describes each DAC155 connector and control element.
-
12 V connector and GND:
To connect the power supply unit to the DAC155, use the 12V connector. GND used to connect the ground wire of the turntable -
POWER Switch and ON LED:
When the power switch is pressed, the ON LED light will be on, and the DAC155 will be in the working state. -
INPUT (Land R) connectors:
To send a turntable signal to the DAC155, you need an RCA audio cable (stereo). Use this cable to connect:- the left output on the turntable to the L(lefl) INPUT on the DAC155
- the right output on the turntable to the R (right) NPUT on the DAC155 The DAC155 can output a line-level signal via one of the following connectors:
- RCA((4) OUTPUT Land R)
- ¼” TRS ((5) OUTPUT)
-
OUTPUT (Land R) connectors:
To use these RCA connectors, you need an RCA audio cable (stereo). Use this audio cable to connect:- the L (left) OUTPUT on the DAC155 to the left input on the amplifier, recording unit, or mixer. (On a mixer, use a CD or TAPE input)
- the R (right) OUTPUT on the DAC155 to the right input on the amplifier, recording unit, or mixer
-
OUTPUT connector:
To use this¼”, TRS (stereo) connector, you need an audio cable. Use the audio cable to connect the DAC155 OUTPUT to an input on the mixer, amplifier, or recording unit. One end of this audio cable must include a¼”, TRS connector. If the input on the mixer, amplifier, or recording unit is:- stereo, the other end of the audio cable must include a¼”, TRS connector
- mono, the other end of the audio cable must include 2 TS connectors (one for each mono input)
