DIMENSIONS & WEIGHT CAPACITY

Caution:
Ensure all mounting surfaces are capable of holding the weight of your mount.
DO NOT EXCEED MAXIMUM LISTED WEIGHT CAPACITY. SERIOUS INJURY OR PROPERTY
DAMAGE MAY OCCUR!
Step 1
Cut the Cable Tie
Stored energy hazard!
- Firmly hold the two halves of the spring arm together and have another person cut off the cable tie from around the spring arm.
- Slowly release the pressure on the spring arm and allow it to gradually stretch to its full extension.
Step 2a
Clamp Installation
- Use 6mm Hex Wrench (#M) to loosen the bolts on the Clamp Screw Assembly (#A) until the threads on the bolts are almost fully into the plate, as shown. Place Clamping Plate (#H) onto the tips of the bolts.
- Connect Clamp L-Bracket (#B) to the base of the spring arms using Bolts (#K) and tighten until secure with Hex Wrench (#L).
- Peel off the backing from Adhesive Pad (#F) and stick it onto the installed Clamp L-Bracket as shown.
- Connect the Clamp Screw Assembly onto the back of the L-Bracket. The four screws on the backside may need to be loosened so that there is a gap of approximately ¼in between the bracket and the bolt head.
- For desks with a thickness between 50-85mm (1.96”-3.34”) attach the Clamp Screw Assembly to the lower 4 holes of the Clamp L-Bracket.
- For desks with a thickness between 10-55mm (0.39”-2.16”) attach the Clamp Screw Assembly to the lower 4 holes of the Clamp L-Bracket.
- Ensure the four bolts are fully seated in the smaller end of the keyhole mounting holes then tighten until secure using Hex Wrench (#L).
- Place the assembled mount arms over the edge of the desk in the desired location then tighten the two clamping bolts until they are secure and the clamp does not move.
Note: Alternate between the two bolts to keep the clamping plate level and for a more secure installation.
Step 2b
Grommet Installation
- Connect Grommet Plate (#F) to the base of the spring arms using Bolts (#K) and tighten until secure with Hex Wrench (#L).
- Peel off the backing from Adhesive Pad (#F) and stick it onto the installed Grommet Plate as shown.
- Use the Hex Wrench (#M) to fully remove both bolts from the Clamp Screw Assembly (#C). Insert both bolts into the large outer holes of the Clamping Plate (#H).
- A grommet hole of .4-2.35in is required to install this mount. If one is not present in the desktop one can be drilled using a 3/8” drill bit.
- Place the mount over the grommet hole and install the Clamping Plate through the underside of the desktop. Tighten the bolt until secure using the Hex Wrench (#M).
Note: Alternate between the two bolts to keep the clamping plate level and for a more secure installation.
Step 3
Connect the VESA Head to the Spring Arm
-
Connect the VESA Heads (#D) to the end of the Spring Arms using VESA Connector Washers (#I) and VESA Connector Bolts (#J). Tighten until secure using the Hex Wrench (#M).
Note: Ensure the Washersare oriented so that the hexagonal interior end is facing upwards, as illustrated here. -
Remove the thumb screw from the back of the VESA Head, pull the bottom of the VESA Plate on the front away then up to remove it.
Step 4
Attach the VESA Plate to the Monitor
- Select the appropriate size mounting bolt (#M-A, M-B) for your monitors mounting holes and verify the length of the VESA bolt is not too long. If you are unsure of the correct bolt size for your display refer to your monitor user manual or contact the monitor manufacturer for sizing information.
- Install the VESA Plate onto the back of the monitor using the selected Bolts (#M-A or M-B) and Washers (#M-C) and ensure that the arrow on the plate is pointing up to the top of the monitor.
Step 5
Attaching the Monitor
- Hang the monitor on the end of the VESA Head by hooking the top of the plate back onto the end of the arm, and then lower it down into position. Reinstall the thumb screw to secure it in place.
Step 6
Weight Balancing the Gas Spring Arm
- Gas Spring tension may need to be adjusted to suit the weight of the monitors. To weight balance the two gas spring arms, begin by pushing the arm down to the lowered position, then use Hex Wrench (#M) to adjust the nut as pictured above, turning counterclockwise toward the + (plus) sign for heavier monitors, increasing the tension and clockwise toward the – (minus) sign for lighter monitors, lowering the tension. Adjust until the arm does notraise back to the highest position or sink to the lowest position when released. This might require multiple rotations to reach the desired tension.
To properly balance the arm with monitor mounted, adjust the spring tension
using the supplied Allen Key as follows:
First, position and firmly hold the arm horizontally as shown. Ask for
assistance should you require it.
CAUTION: To avoid
damage to monitor or mount, always keep the arm in a horizontal position while
making adjustments. Again, ask for assistance if required.
If the arm drops, turn the adjustment screw counter-clockwise until it stays
in a horizontal position.
If the arm rises, turn the adjustment screw clockwise until it stays in a
horizontal position.
CAUTION: DO NOT over tighten the screws.
Step 7
Cable Management
- Remove the cable management cover from the underside of the spring arm by squeezing both sides of the cover and then pulling it out. Run any cables beneath then reinstall the cable management cover.
Note: If the monitor tilts forward on its own or is too difficult to tilt adjust the tightness of the bolt indicated here.Attach the Clamp Cover (#C) to the rear of the clamp to utilize the cable management clips and to store the Hex Wrenches.
