Maintenance and Cleaning and General Use

  1.  From time to time, check all the power cables are in good condition and avoid using them if you see any damage. Be safe!
  2. The body of the Robin can be kept clean simply by using a cloth that is slightly damp, do not use a “wet” cloth. The body is painted so it doesn’t need any wax polish, just a simple wipe will do. The same applies to the clock lens, a simple wipe with a damp cloth is suffi cient. Do not use any abrasive cleaning pads or you will scratch it.
  3.  Position the Robin out of direct sunlight so that it does not discolor the finish or the clock dial or get too hot.
  4.  Do not let it get wet and keep it dry and not in a humid room, such as the bathroom. Don’t use it outside.
  5. Do not place it near a cooker in the kitchen or anywhere it may become hot.
  6. Do not play the Robin at full volume for prolonged periods of time, it’s not designed to be a party speaker and you may damage the electronics.

The Speaker and Audio

You can control the audio sound from both the Robin and your phone, the control levels of both will affect the quality and performance.
If you have no sound at all, then try the following:

  1. Check that the set-top Bluetooth light should is on, which means it’s connected.
  2. Turn up the volume on the top of the Robin using the + control until it beeps.
