1. INTENDED USE

The meat grinder is designed for finely grinding meat into a high quality ingredient for many dishes. The sausage stuffer attachment allows you to produce excellent home-made sausages.
Following the instructions in this manual will ensure safe installation and use of the device.

The device is intended for household use only; it should not be used for professional purposes.

3. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  1. The device must not be used by children. Keep the device and its power cord away from children.

  2. The device can be used by persons with limited physical, sensory or mental capacity, as well as persons lacking the necessary experience and knowledge, provided they are under adult supervision or use the device safely, in accordance with the manual and with an understanding of the risks involved.

  3. Children may not play with the device.

  4. When cleaning device parts that come into contact with food, follow the instructions provided in section 8. CLEANING AND CARE

  5. Warning! Risk of injury! Only use the product for its intended purpose. Be very careful when handling the mincing blade, particularly while removing it from the meat grinder, replacing accessories or during cleaning.

  6. Regularly inspect the power cord for damage. If the power cord is damaged, have it replaced by the manufacturer, authorised customer service or other qualified personnel to prevent risk of injury.

  7. Use only the accessories included in the package.

  8. Turn off and disconnect the appliance from the mains before any cleaning, replacement of accessories or contact with the moving parts of the meat grinder.

  9. Always disconnect the appliance from a power supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning the appliance.

  10. Do not use the device continuously for longer than: 3 min.
    After each use, turn off the device for 30 minutes to make sure the engine has cooled down.

  11. Wait 30 seconds until the appliance stops before switching between the normal and reverse operating modes; otherwise, the appliance can become damaged.

  12. The device is intended for private indoor use only. It cannot be used for commercial purposes.

  13. Before use, read the entire manual carefully.

  14. Before connecting the appliance to the mains, make sure that the mains parameters conform to the information provided on the rating plate of the appliance.

  15. Connect the appliance to a 220-240 V~, 50/60 Hz alternating current mains.

  16. To avoid the risk of fire or electric shock, follow basic safety rules when using electrical appliances and devices, particularly in the presence of children.

  17. Only use the appliance for its intended purpose.

  18. To move the appliance, grasp its body with both your hands. Do not lift the appliance by holding onto its tray or the mincing head.

  19. Do not grind bone, hard nuts, ginger and fibrous products.

  20. Do not grind dry poppy seeds. Blanch the poppy seed and soak it for several hours before grinding.

  21. Do not use the appliance to grind dry food products.

  22. Do not apply excessive force to the pusher to avoid damaging the appliance.

  23. To prevent the risk of electric shock, do not immerse the plug, the power cord or the appliance in water or other liquids.

  24. Do not hang the power cord over a table or sink edge.

  25. Do not use the appliance near flammable fabrics (curtains, carpet) and do not leave it near sources of heat such as gas heaters, electrical cookers etc.

  26. Before use, unfold the power cord.

  27. The power cord should not hang freely or touch any hot surface.

  28. Do not cover the appliance during operation. If the appliance is covered or touches a flammable material, it could pose a risk of fire.

  29. When the appliance is in operation, do not put your hands or other objects (cutlery, tools, etc.) on the tray.

  30. Do not touch any moving part of the appliance. Keep your fingers, hair and clothes away from these components.

  31. Do not insert your fingers inside the head. Use the pusher.

  32. Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is connected to the mains.

  33. Do not use the appliance if it is damaged or malfunctioning.

  34. Do not operate the appliance if it has been dropped and shows any signs of damage.

  35. Do not attempt to open the body or remove any component of the appliance.

  36. Add ingredients to the tray carefully, without applying excessive force or pressure.

  37. Keep this manual and, if possible, the packaging.

  38. If the product is passed on to another user, it must be accompanied by this manual.

Open the packaging and carefully take out the appliance. Make sure that the product set is complete and that its components are undamaged. Check that the plastic parts are intact and the power cord is undamaged. If any part is damaged or missing, contact the dealer and do not use the product. Keep the packaging or recycle it in accordance with local regulations.

7. OPERATION

7.1 Before first use

  1. Unpack the appliance.
  2. Make sure that the mains parameters conform to the information provided on the product’s rating plate.
  3. Before first use, clean the appliance and accessories by following the instructions provided in section 8 Cleaning and Care.
  4. Assemble the appliance in accordance with selected operating setup. For more information, see subsections: 7.4 Using the mincing head, 7.5 Using the sausage attachment, 7.6 Work in configuration with a section for meat, croquettes

7.2 Turning the appliance on/off

  1. Connect the plug to a mains outlet.
  2. To turn the appliance on, press the ON button.
  3. To turn the appliance off, press the R button.

7.3 Reversing

  1. If the ingredients get stuck in the appliance, turn it off with the 0 button. Wait until the machine stops completely c.a. 30s.
  2. Press and hold the Reverse button. The worm shaft will start to rotate in the opposite direction and the head will be emptied.
  3. If, despite using the Reverse mode (R), the ingredients remain stuck in the appliance and obstruct its operation, turn the machine off, disconnect it from the mains, then disassemble it and remove the blockage.

7.4 Using the mincing head

  1. Place the appliance on a flat, dry and solid surface. Ensure that it is disconnected from the mains.

  2. Assemble the meat grinder components in accordance with the figure drawings below

  3. Insert the worm shaft into the drive head. Make sure the shaft end is securely locked within the housing.

  4. Place the mincing blades onto the worm shaft.
    Caution! Make sure the sharp edge of the mincing blade is directed outwards and towards the grinder plate.

  5. Align the tabs of the selected plate with the notches in the head.

  6. Hold the plate with one hand, then place and attach the locking ring with the other. Make sure to lock the ring securely but not too tightly.

  7. The assembled drive head should be inserted into the opening in the housing.

  8. Rotate the drive head until it is securely locked, as signalled by the mechanism clicking into place.

  9. Set the tray on the drive head.

  10. Connect the device to the mains. Turn the machine on by switching ON.

  11. Fill the tray with meat.

  12. Do not feed meat with any objects other than the dedicated pusher.

  13. To disassemble the appliance, follow the steps above in reverse order. Before removing the metal meat grinder head, press the lock button to release it.
    • Prepare meat for grinding by cutting it into smaller pieces that fit in the opening of the tray and by removing any bones or tendons

7.5 Using the sausage attachment

  1. Assemble the components of the appliance in the order indicated on the figure drawings below.
  2. Set the worm shaft in the drive head. Make sure the end of the shaft is ecurely affixed within the housing.
  3. Set the separator over the worm shaft, followed by the sausage attachment. Holding the sausage attachment with one hand, use your other hand to set and secure the locking ring.
  4. Secure the locking ring onto the drive head. Make sure to lock the ring securely but not too tightly.
  5. Insert the assembler head into the opening in the housing.
  6. Rotate the head until it locks into place, as indicated by the mechanism clicking into place.
  7. Place a sausage casing onto the attachment and fill the tray with stuffing. Carefully pack the intestine with the meat mixture.
  8. Connect the device to the mains. Turn the machine on by switching ON.
  9. Fill the tray with meat. Do not feed meat with any objects other than the dedicated pusher.
  10. To disassemble the sausage maker, follow the steps above in reverse order. Before removing the metal meat grinder head, press the lock button to release it.
    Warning! In this configuration, the blades can be applied between the worm shaft and the separator (blades directed outwards, as in the case of a meat grinder configuration). It is the individual decision of the user.

7.6 Operation with the meat and croquette shaping attachment

  1. Put the device (its housing) on a flat and stable surface. Make sure the device is disconnected from the power source.
  2. Assemble the device components in accordance with the drawing below.
  3. Place the screw in the opening of the head.
  4. Install the croquette shaping attachment and the croquette shaping attachment rim. Hold the rim with one hand, and tighten the fixing ring with the other hand. Make sure you do not overtighten it nor tighten it too lightly.
  5. Insert the assembled head into the opening in the housing. Rotate the head so that it locks into place. When this happens, a characteristic click will be heard.
  6. Attach the tray.
  7. Connect the device to the mains. Start the device.
  8. Fill the tray with meat. Only use the included pusher to push the meat.
  9. For disassembly, perform the installation steps in reverse order, and prior to removing the metal meat head press the lock release button

Caution!
Disconnect the device from the mains before replacing accessories or getting close to the moving parts.
The blades are sharp. Be careful.

8. CLEANING

8.1 General rules
Correct and regular cleaning will improve the safety and extend the lifespan of the product.

Caution! Before performing cleaning and care operations, turn the appliance off, disconnect it from the power source and let it cool down, so as to avoid electric shock and burns.

  1. The housing should be cleaned with a soft damp cloth or a paper towel, and then wiped dry.
  2. Other components should be washed in lukewarm water with mild detergent.
  3. Use a wooden or plastic spatula to reach hard-to-remove food residue.
  4. You can also use cotton buds to remove stubborn residue.

**Caution!**
Do not use any strong chemical, alkaline, abrasive or disinfecting agents to clean the appliance, as they could damage its surface.

Do not use metal, sharp or rough cleaning accessories, as they may damage the surface of the appliance!
Do not immerse the appliance or its power cord in water or other liquids.
Be careful when cleaning the blades, as they are very sharp.

9. REPAIR

The appliance does not contain any user-serviceable parts. Do not repair it on your own. Always have the appliance repaired by a professional.
If the power cord is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer, a service center representative, or a properly qualified individual in order to avoid hazard and injury.

10. STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION

  • Clean the appliance as described and leave it to dry completely.
  • Always keep the appliance in a dry, well-ventilated location, inaccessible to children.
  • Protect the appliance against vibration and shock during transport.

11. DISPOSAL

Keep the packaging materials out of children’s reach, as the materials can pose a hazard.
The packaging should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.

Correct disposal of the device:

  1. According to the WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU, the crossed-out wheelie bin symbol is used to label all electric and electronic devices requiring segregation.
  2. Do not dispose of the spent product with domestic waste: hand it over to an electric and electronic device collection and recycling centre.
  3. Hazardous components in electronic and electrical equipment have a negative impact on the environment and human health.
  4. Plastics contained in the device can be recycled in accordance with the specific marking. By recycling materials and spent equipment you will help to protect the environment.
  5. Information on electric and electronic devices collection centres is available from local government agencies or from the vendor.

12. CE DECLARATION

This appliance has been designed, manufactured and marketed in accordance with the requirements of the New Approach Directives. Therefore, the product has been marked with the CE mark and a declaration of conformity has been issued for it, which is made available to market regulators.

General terms and conditions of the warranty

  1. The Warrantor of this product grants a 36-month warranty valid from the purchase date, subject to presenting a properly filled-out warranty card. Under this Warranty, the product shall be, at the Warrantor’s discretion:
    a) repaired free-of-charge by the Warrantor, provided that any disassembled, damaged or faulty parts of the product, in the interest of the Client’s safety, shall become the property of the Warrantor,
    b) exchanged for a new product at the place of purchase; as a result, the damaged or faulty product shall become the property of the Warrantor,
    c) subject to return with a refund of the purchase price; as a result, the damaged or faulty product shall become the property of the Warrantor.

  2. A faulty/damaged product means a product failing to provide the features described in the user manual due to intrinsic properties of the appliance.

  3. The Beneficiary under the warranty shall deliver the appliance to the Customer Service Point at a given store in order to submit a complaint about the appliance. When exercising your warranty rights, present proof of purchase (receipt, invoice) and describe the defect in as much detail as possible, including in particular external manifestations.

  4. A warranty card without a stamp, date of purchase and a signature of the vendor is invalid.

  5. The warranty excludes products with physical damage other than that caused by the manufacturer or distributor, including specifically any damage resulting from incorrect usage or force majeure.

  6. The warranty does not cover products whose protective seal has been removed, unless such a removal was done by an authorised service technician.

  7. The authorised repair facility shall make every effort to complete the repair within 21 days. This deadline may be extended to 1 month, should the repair require a purchase of replacement parts which are not accessible onsite.

  8. It is recommended that the entire product be turned over upon submission of a complaint, so as to facilitate service operations.

  9. This warranty for the sold consumer product does not exclude, restrict or suspend any rights of the Buyer stemming from warranty regulations covering defects in goods sold pursuant to the Civil Code of 23 April 1964 (Journal of Laws Dz.U.2014.121).

  10. The warranty shall be applicable within the territory of the Republic of Poland.
