NTENDED USE

You can use it to easily make a delicious cocktail or blend ingredients for a thick soup. Follow the instructions in this manual for safe installation and operation of the appliance. This appliance is designed for household use only and should not be used for commercial purposes.

Use only for food products and edible liquids.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  1. The appliance must not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its power cord out of children’s reach.
  2. The appliance may be used by individuals with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacity or by individuals lacking the requisite experience and knowledge, provided that they  are supervised or instructed to use the appliance safely, and have an understanding of the risks involved.
  3. Children must not play with the appliance.
  4.  Always unplug the appliance before changing its accessories or approaching moving parts.
  5. Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning it.
  6. If the power cord is damaged it should be replaced by the manufacturer, authorized customer service or other qualified personnel in order to avoid risk of injury.
  7. The maximum operating time of the appliance is 3 minutes. After that time, unplug the appliance and wait 10 minutes before using it again.
  8. Use only the accessories supplied in the product set.
  9. Be careful when handling the blade, emptying the jar or cleaning the appliance.
  10. ATTENTION! Make sure the blender is turned off before removing the jug from the base.
  11. Caution! Incorrect use of the appliance poses a risk of injury. Be extra cautious when removing accessories, especially when emptying the glass jar and cleaning it.
  12. Caution! Take particular care if a hot liquid is poured into\the glass jar, as it could be ejected in the form of steam.
  13. The device has not been designed to be controlled by an external clock or remote control system.
  14. Follow the instructions in section 8 Cleaning and care to safely clean appliance parts that come into contact with food.
  15. This appliance is intended for household use and for similar applications, such as:
    • canteen and break room equipment in shops, offices and other workplaces
    • farms
    • hotel rooms, motels and similar facilities
    • boarding houses.
  16. Before use, read the entire manual carefully.
  17. Caution! Always disconnect the power cord from the mains before leaving the device unattended. Be particularly careful while dismantling accessories and cleaning the appliance.
  18. To avoid the risk of fire or electric shock, follow basic safety rules when using electrical appliances and devices, particularly in the presence of children.
  19. This appliance is designed for household use. Do not use this product for purposes other than its intended use.
  20. To prevent the risk of electric shock, do not immerse the plug, the power cord or the appliance in water or other liquids.
  21. Do not hang the power cord over a table or sink edge.
  22. Before use, place the appliance on a flat and stable surface.
  23. Do not use the appliance near flammable fabrics (curtains, carpet) and do not leave it near sources of heat such as gas heaters, electrical cookers etc.
  24. Before connecting the appliance to a mains outlet make sure that the on/off switch is set to “OFF”. Before disconnecting the appliance, make sure that the on/off switch is set to “OFF” as well.
  25. Before using the appliance, make sure that the voltage stated on the appliance corresponds to the voltage in the mains socket.
  26. Unfold the power cord before plugging the appliance into a mains outlet.
  27. The power cord should not hang freely or touch any hot surface.
  28. Always disconnect the appliance from the mains before putting it away, assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
  29. Do not cover the appliance during operation. If the appliance is covered or touches a flammable material, it could pose a fire risk.
  30. When the appliance is in operation, do not put your hands or other objects (cutlery, tools etc.) in with the ingredients.
  31. Keep your fingers, hair, clothing and utensils away from moving parts of the appliance (rotating parts).
  32. Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is connected to a mains.
  33. Do not use the appliance if it is damaged or malfunctioning.
  34. Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped or shows clear signs of damage.
  35. Do not attempt to open the body or dismantle any parts of the appliance.

Open the package and carefully take out the appliance. Make sure that the product set is complete and that its components are undamaged. Check that plastic parts are intact and the power cord is undamaged. If any part is damaged or missing, contact the dealer and do not use the product. Keep the package or recycle it in accordance with local regulations

Prohibited IconCaution! For the sake of safety, keep the packaging parts (plastic bags, cardboard boxes, Styrofoam etc.) out of children’s reach. Risk of suffocation!

USE

Before use

  1. Unpack the appliance.
  2. Make sure the power supply parameters of the appliance (220-240 V~ 50/60 Hz) match the parameters of the local mains.
  3. Before operating the appliance for the first time, clean it as described in section 8 Cleaning and care of this manual.
  4. Before assembling the appliance, make sure that it is disconnected from the mains and its speed control is in the OFF position.

Caution!
During the first few uses of the appliance, it may emit an unpleasant odour. The odour will disappear after a while.

Caution! Maximum continuous operating time of the appliance is 3 minutes. After that time, unplug the appliance and wait 10 minutes before using it again

Installing the jar

  1. Make sure the appliance is “OFF”.

  2. Turn the jar upside down. Hold it by the handle and install the blade base (together with the gasket and the blade) with the other hand. Screw the base in by rotating it counterclockwise. The tabs of the base must go under the tabs in the jar’s base.

  3. Place the jar on its base. Position the lid and press it down. Place the cap (serving also as the measure) on the lid, aligning the tabs and notches, and screw the cap in by rotating it clockwise as deep as it can go.

  4. Place the assembled jar on the blender body. Align the indicator on the back of the jar with the unlocked padlock symbol and then rotate the jar in the direction of the locked padlock symbol until you hear a click. The blender may be used only with the correctly installed jar (after the click).

To disassemble the jar, rotate it in the direction of the unlocked padlock symbol and remove from the blender body.

Operation

  1. Make sure that the appliance is unplugged from the mains and that its speed control is set to “OFF”.

  2. Remove the lid with the cap.

  3. Place the ingredients into the jar. It is recommended that water, milk, juice or some other liquid be added for a better comminating effect. The appliance is not suitable for blending hard products or ingredients containing hard parts, such as ice cubes, meat with bones, fruit pits or frozen foods

    Place the lid and the cap on the jar and make sure their fit is tight.

  4. Connect the appliance to the mains, turn the speed control knob to “1”. After a while you may switch to “2” or to Pulse (“P”) mode.

  5. Blend the ingredients no longer than 3 minutes (then take a 10-minute break). If you wish to add ingredients or water while blending, remove the cap and use its opening.

Caution! Never open the lid while the blender is running!

Caution! Pulse operation requires that you hold the speed control knob. For ingredients that require brief mixing, use pulse mode (“P”). It is the optimal setting for ingredients that contain, for example, nuts.

Caution!
Never exceed the maximum capacity of 1,500 ml as indicated on the blender jar. Keep in mind that some mixtures increase their volume during blending.

Caution!
Ingredients may stick to the walls of the blender jar while the appliance is being operated. If this happens, stop the appliance by turning the speed control to the OFF position, disconnect the device from the mains outlet, remove the lid and use a plastic or wooden spatula to push the sticky ingredients down.

Caution!
If the blades get jammed during operation, immediately turn the speed control to the OFF position and disconnect the device from the mains. Then remove the lid and use a plastic or wooden spatula to remove the cause of the blockage. Continued operation of the blender when its blades are jammed can damage the appliance.

Caution!
The blades are sharp. Be careful when handling them.

CLEANING AND CARE

Correct and regular cleaning will improve the safety and extend the lifespan of the product.

Caution! Before performing cleaning and care operations, turn the appliance off,disconnect it from the power source and let it cool down, so as to avoid electric shock and burns.

  • Do not place the jar on its base when the jar is wet.
  • Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
  • Do not use corrosive clearing agents.
  • The components of the blender are not machine-washable.

Cleaning the jar

  1. Disconnect the appliance from the mains.
  2. Remove the jar from the base, empty it and fill it with clean water.
  3. Place the jar on the base and turn on the blender in “P” mode several times.
  4. Remove the jar from the base, dispose of the water and wash the jar with a dishwashing liquid.

Caution! Make sure that the base of the jar is dry before placing it on the blender body

Cleaning the blades

  1. Disconnect the appliance from the mains.

  2. Remove the jar from the base and turn it upside down

  3. Undo the blade base by rotating it clockwise. Remove the base with the blades.Remove the gasket from the base.

  4. Wash the components under running water, using a dishwashing liquid.

  5. Leave them to dry

Caution!
The blades are sharp. Be careful when handling them.
Caution! Clean the area around the blades with a dishwashing brush.

Cleaning the body
Wipe the body with a moist cloth and leave it to dry.

Caution!
Do not immerse the plug, the power cord or the appliance base in water or any other liquid.

The appliance does not contain any user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to repair  the appliance on your own. Always have the appliance repaired by a professional. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an authorized customer service or other qualified personnel.

  1. It is recommended that the product be stored in its original package.
  2. Always keep the appliance in a dry, well-ventilated location, inaccessible to children.
  3. Use the appliance handle to transport the appliance.
  4. Protect the appliance against vibration and shock during transport.
  5. Reel the power cord on the tabs located on the base of the appliance.

DISPOSAL

Keep the packaging materials out of children’s reach, as the materials can pose a hazard. The packaging should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.

Correct disposal of the device:

  1. According to the WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU, the crossed-out wheelie bin symbol is used to label all electric and electronic devices requiring segregation.
  2. Do not dispose of the spent product with domestic waste: hand it over to an electric and electronic device collection and recycling centre.
  3. Hazardous components in electronic and electrical equipment have a negative impact on the environment and human health.
  4. Plastics contained in the device can be recycled in accordance with the specific marking. By recycling materials and spent equipment you will help to protect the environment.
  5. Information on electric and electronic devices collection centres is available from local government agencies or from the vendor.

General Terms and Conditions of the Warranty

  1. The Warrantor of this product grants a 36-month warranty valid from the purchase date, subject to presentation of a duly completed Warranty Card. Under this Warranty, the product shall be, at the Warrantor’s discretion:
    a) repaired free of charge by the Warrantor, provided that any disassembled, damaged or faulty parts of the product, in the interest of the Client’s safety, shall become the property of the Warrantor,
    b) exchanged for a new product at the place of purchase; as a result, the damaged or faulty product shall become the property of the Warrantor,
    c) subject to return with a refund of the purchase price; as a result, the damaged or faulty product shall become the property of the Warrantor.

  2. A faulty/damaged product means a product failing to provide the features described in the User’s Guide due to intrinsic properties of the appliance.

  3. The Beneficiary under the Warranty shall deliver the appliance to the Customer Service Point at a given store in order to submit a complaint about the appliance. When exercising your Warranty rights, present proof of purchase (receipt, invoice) and describe the defect in as much detail as possible, including in particular its external manifestations.

  4. A Warranty Card without a stamp, purchase date and the vendor’s signature shall be deemed invalid.

  5. The Warranty excludes products with physical damage other than that caused by the manufacturer or distributor, including specifically any damage resulting from incorrect usage or force majeure.

  6. The Warranty does not cover products whose protective seal has been removed, unless such a removal was done by an authorized service technician.

  7. The authorized repair facility shall make every effort to complete the repair within 21 days. This deadline may be extended to 1 month, should the repair require purchase of replacement parts which are not accessible onsite.

  8. It is recommended that the entire product be turned over upon submission of a complaint, so as to facilitate service operations.

  9. This Warranty for the sold consumer product does not exclude, restrict or suspend any rights of the Buyer stemming from warranty regulations covering defects in goods sold pursuant to the Civil Code of 23 April 1964 (Journal of Laws Dz.U.2014.121).

  10. The Warranty shall be applicable within the territory of the Republic of Poland.
