INTENDED USE

The appliance is intended for extracting fresh juice from fruit, vegetables and herbs.
A large inlet, a food pusher and anti-slip feet ensure convenience during preparation of your favourite juices.
This appliance is intended for private indoor home use only and may not be used for professional purposes.
Please follow the instructions contained in this manual for safe installation and use of the appliance.
Use only for processing food and foodstuffs.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

  1. Warning! Incorrect operation of the appliance may result in injuries. Be careful when handling the blades, emptying the bowl or cleaning the appliance.

  2. Always unplug the appliance when it is not supervised, and also before assembly, disassembly or cleaning.

  3. The appliance must not be used by children. Keep the appliance and the cord out of children’s reach.

  4. Switch off and unplug the appliance before replacing the accessories or touching moving parts.

  5. Do not operate the appliance continuously for more than 15 minutes. If the appliance has been operating for 15 minutes, turn it off and let it cool down for at least 30 minutes before you operate it again.

  6. Accessories that come into contact with food must be cleaned as described in Section 8 Cleaning and maintenance .

  7. Use only the original accessories included in the set.

  8. Regularly check the power cord for damage. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an authorized service centre or a qualified individual, so as to avoid hazards and injuries.

  9. The appliance may be used by individuals with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or by individuals lacking the necessary experience and knowledge, provided that they are supervised or have been instructed how to use the appliances safely, and understand the hazards involved.

  10. Children must not play with the appliance.

  11. Do not use the appliance if the bowl, the cover or another component of the appliance is damaged, or has visible cracks.

  12. Caution! Warning against improper use of the appliance.
    Never touch the screw-conveyor shaft during appliance operation.

  13. Read the entire manual before you start using the appliance.

  14. The appliance cannot be operated with an external timer or a separate remote control .

  15. Connect the device to a 220-240 V~ 50/60 Hz alternating current mains.

  16. To prevent electrocution, do not immerse the plug, the power cord or the base in water or other liquids.

  17. Do not hang the power cord over a table or sink edge.

  18. Do not place the appliance near sources of heat: gas water heaters, electric cookers etc .

  19. This appliance is designed for home use. Do not use the product for purposes other than its intended use.

  20. Be careful when using the appliance.

  21. Before starting operation, place the appliance on a stable, flat surface.

  22. Large food products and materials such as paper, cardboard, plastics, metal etc. must not be put into the appliance. If such objects are inserted into the juicer, the strainer may get jammed, which could result in fire or electrocution.

  23. Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped or shows clear signs of damage.

  24. Do not push fruit or vegetables into the appliance with your hands! Do not push any foods to be processed with any object other than the supplied pusher.

  25. Do not insert any hard materials, ice, large seeds or frozen products into the feeder of the juicer.

  26. Do not overload the appliance with excessive amounts of products or by pushing in food products too forcefully (with the pusher).

  27. Turn the juicer off immediately if you notice strong vibrations or a decrease in operating speed.

  28. Do not touch moving components during appliance operation.

  29. Do not attempt to open or disassemble the base with the motor.

  30. Wait until the appliance cools down before you insert any parts into or remove any parts from the appliance, and before you start cleaning or repairing the appliance.

  31. Do not cover the appliance with anything. A fire could be ignited if the appliance is covered or touches a flammable material.

  32. Make sure not to connect too many electrical appliances to a single circuit.

  33. Do not insert your hands into the inlet during appliance operation.

  34. Uncoil the power cord before you start operating the appliance.

  35. Never use the appliance with accessories other than those recommended in this instruction manual and by the manufacturer. Other accessories may pose a hazard to the user and/or damage the appliance. Use only original accessories.

  36. Retain the instruction manual and the packaging, if possible.

Open the package and carefully take the appliance out. Make sure that the set is complete and that its components are undamaged. Check that plastic parts are not broken and the power cord is not damaged. If you find that any components are missing or  amaged, contact the vendor and do not use the product. Retain the packaging or dispose of it in accordance with local regulations.
Caution! To keep children safe, do not leave any packaging parts (plastic bags, cardboard boxes, expanded polystyrene elements etc.) freely accessible. Risk of suffocation!

USE

7.1 Before the first use
Unpack the device and remove all the packaging items.
Check whether the device power supply parameters match the parameters of the local mains .
Before the first use, clean the device and accessories in accordance with the instruction in point 8 Cleaning and care .
7.2 Device assembly
Prior to the device assembly, make sure the on/off switch is in the 0 position.

  1. Place the device on a stable surface.
  2. Make sure the device is disconnected from the power source.
  3. Insert the stainless steel mesh filter with holder into the bowl. When inserting the filter, make sure the tabs and notches are in the correct position in relation to the bowl. When correctly installed, the filter cannot rotate in the bowl.
  4. Place the auger in the filter. The auger’s metal pin must be pointing downwards.
  5. Put the bowl on the device body. When inserting the bowl, the dot on the bowl must be in the position of the open padlock on the body. Twist the bowl in the locked padlock direction to lock it in place.
  6. Make sure the auger matches the bolt. If not, align it and push to fix. When the auger is correctly installed, it cannot rotate.
  7. Place the top lid. The “triangle” mark on the top lid must point to the open padlock symbol on the bowl. Next, twist the top lid in the direction of the locked padlock to lock it in place. Caution! If all the parts are not correctly installed, the device will not work.
  8. Place the juice and pulp containers under the relevant openings.
  9. The device is ready for use.

7.3 Device disassembly
To disassemble the device, perform the assembly steps in reverse order.

  1. Put the juicer and pulp containers aside.
  2. Release the top lid safety lock by twisting the top lid with the feeder into the open padlock direction. Remove the lid.
  3. Twist the bowl in the open padlock direction. Remove the bowl.
  4. Remove the auger and the mesh filter.

7.4 Switching the device on/off

  1. To switch the device on, carefully install the top lid with the feeder on the bowl to disengage the safety lock.
  2. To turn the device on, rotate the on/off/reverse mode switch to 1.

7.5 How to prepare the fruit and vegetables for juicing

  • Use fresh, slightly unripe fruit and vegetables as they contain more juice.
  • Thoroughly wash the fruit and vegetables intended for juicing.
  • If there are stones in the fruit, remove them.
  • Cut the vegetables and fruit into pieces which can be inserted into the feeder opening.
  • You do not have to peel all the fruit and vegetables. Only remove thick peel, such as in oranges, pineapples, or beetroots. It is also recommended to remove the albedo from citrus fruit as it is bitter.
  • Apple juice turns brown very quickly. You may slow down this process by adding a few drops of lemon juice.

7.6 Juicing

  1. Check whether the device is correctly assembled and secured with the safety lock.
  2. Connect the device to the power source, the parameters of which correspond to the technical data indicated on the device’s rating plate.
  3. Put the prepared fruit and vegetables into the feeder opening or place them on the feeder and tilt it so that the fruit/vegetables fall into the opening.

Caution! Prior to juicing, cut the vegetables and fruit into pieces which can be inserted into the feeder opening.
When finished, switch off the device by turning the knob to the 0 position, and unplug the power cord to disconnect it from the power source.
7.7 Auger reverse mode
Use the auger reverse mode if the fruit or vegetables become jammed in the device.

  1. Turn the on/off/reverse mode switch to “0” and wait for the device to stop completely, then set the switch to “R”.
    CAUTION! Do not turn the switch directly from “1” to “R”, otherwise the device may become damaged.

  2. The device is protected against overloading with too much jammed food. If this is the case, the device will stop working.

  3. If the jammed products stop the device, rotate the switch to “R” for 5 seconds, then rotate to “0”, take off the lid and remove the jammed food.

Caution!
When juicing, make sure the juice in the bowl does not exceed the MAX level.
When the juice level is close to the maximum level, open the juice outlet flap to drain the juice to the container.
Place the container on a stable, washable surface (the juice or pulp may escape due to inattention).

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

8.1 Basic rules
Proper and regular cleaning will ensure safe operation and extend the life span of the device.
Warning! Before performing cleaning and maintenance operations, turn the appliance off, disconnect it from the power source and let it cool down, so as to avoid burns and electrocution.

  • Do not immerse the base with motor in water or other liquids.
  • Do not use corrosive cleaning agents.

Attention!
Do not clean the appliance with any chemicals, alkali, abrasive or disinfecting agents, as they may damage the surface of the appliance.
Cleaning the screw-conveyor shaft, the stainless steel strainer, the bowl, and the pulp and juice containers:

  • As soon as the appliance cools down after you have finished using it, wash the components in warm water with some dishwashing liquid.
  • All the components must be cleaned no later than 10 minutes after you have finished using the appliance, so as to avoid damage to stainless steel parts and to prevent juice residues from drying out in the appliance, which could cause problems when it is disassembled later. Clean the components carefully, so as not to damage them. Remove food residues from the components with the supplied brush after every use.
  • The rubber plug in the bottom part of the bowl should be carefully moved aside to facilitate cleaning. After drying, the plug must be reinstalled in its original position.
  • Wipe the appliance or let it dry thoroughly.

8.2 Cleaning the base with motor

  • Wipe the base with motor using a slightly damp cloth.
  • Wipe it dry.

Attention!
Do not immerse the plug, the power cord or the appliance base in water or other liquids.
Attention!
Plastic elements can be cleaned in dishwasher.

REPAIR

The appliance does not contain any user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to repair the appliance on your own. Always have the appliance repaired by a professional.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, a service centre representative, or a properly qualified individual.

STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION

  • The appliance must be cleaned as described above and left until it is completely dry. It is recommended that the appliance be stored in its original packaging.
  • Always keep the appliance in a dry, well-ventilated location inaccessible to children.
  • Protect the appliance against vibration and shock during handling and transport.

DISPOSAL

Keep the packaging materials out of children’s reach, as the materials can pose a hazard.
The packaging should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
Correct disposal of the device:

  1. **** According to the WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU, the crossed-out wheelie bin symbol is used to label all electric and electronic devices requiring segregation.
  2. Do not dispose of the spent product with domestic waste: hand it over to an electric and electronic device collection and recycling centre.
  3. Hazardous components in electronic and electrical equipment have a negative impact on the environment and human health.
  4. Plastics contained in the device can be recycled in accordance with the specific marking. By recycling materials and spent equipment you will help to protect the environment .
  5. Information on electric and electronic devices collection centres is available from local government agencies or from the vendor.

CE DECLARATION

This appliance has been designed, manufactured and marketed in accordance with the requirements of the New Approach Directives. Therefore, the product has been marked with the CE mark and a declaration of conformity has been issued for it, which is made available to market regulators.

General terms and conditions of the warranty

  1. The Warrantor for this product warrants that within 36 months from the product purchase date confirmed with a duly completed warranty card, the product shall be, at the discretion of the Warrantor, subject to:
    a) free repair to be performed by the Warrantor, with the reservation that removed, damaged or faulty parts of the product shall become the property of the Warrantor in order to ensure the Customer’s safety,
    b) replacement with a new product at the point of product purchase, as a result of which the damaged or faulty product shall become the property of the Warrantor,
    c) return in exchange for reimbursement of the product’s purchase price, as a result of which the damaged or faulty product shall become the property of the Warrantor.

  2. A damaged/faulty product means a product failing to provide the features described in the Instruction Manual due to intrinsic properties of the device.

  3. The Beneficiary under the warranty shall deliver the device to the Customer Service Point at a given store in order to submit a complaint about the equipment.
    When asserting your rights under warranty, you need to present a duly completed warranty card or a purchase receipt/invoice together with a description of the device defect in  as much detail as possible, in particular of the external manifestations of the defect.

  4. A warranty card without the vendor’s stamp and signature and without the sale date is invalid.

  5. The warranty excludes products with physical damage other than that caused by  the manufacturer or distributor, including specifically any damage resulting from incorrect usage or force majeure.

  6. The warranty excludes products without the tamper-proof seal, unless an authorized Service employee has removed the seal.

  7. The Service shall endeavour to complete the repair within 21 days. The said time limit may be extended to 1 month in the event that spare parts currently unavailable at the Service must be purchased.

  8. To facilitate the repair, the product should be returned to the Service complete with all its original components.

  9. This warranty for the sold consumer product does not exclude, restrict or suspend the rights of the buyer arising from statutory warranty regulations covering defects in sold goods pursuant to the Civil Code of 23 April 1964 (Journal of Laws Dz.U.2014.121).

  10. The warranty shall be applicable within the territory of the Republic of Poland.
