2021 Jeep Cherokee Remote Starters Regular Key and Alarm Systems

Product Information:

Product Usage Instructions:

1. Ensure that the vehicle is manufactured after 2019 and
   compatible with the THAR-CHR7 module.

2. If required, update the firmware version and options using the
   FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE tool (sold
   separately).

3. Program the bypass option for the comfort group by selecting
   the appropriate option in the unit settings.

4. If the vehicle is not equipped with a functional hood pin, set
   function A11 to OFF in the unit settings.

5. Ensure that the vehicle’s OEM remote will remain functional
   while the engine is running.

6. Attention: The T-Harness current is limited to a maximum of 5
   Amps. If the parking lights require more than 5 Amps, connect the
   remote starter’s power directly to the vehicle’s battery with the
   appropriate fuse. Some remote starters may not be powered through
   Data-Link, in which case, connect the remote starter’s fused 12V
   power wire directly to the T-Harness.

7. Install the following parts (not included):

Mandatory Installation: Install the hood pin
contact. The hood pin switch must be installed to ensure proper
functioning of the remote start feature. If the vehicle can be
remote started with the hood open, set function A11 to OFF.

Note: The installation of safety elements such
as the hood pin is mandatory for security purposes.

Important: This module must be installed by a
qualified technician. Incorrect connections can cause permanent
damage to the vehicle.

If the parking lights (+) require more than 5Amp. connect the remote-starter’s power directly to the vehicles battery with the appropriate fuse. Some remote starters can not be powered through Data-Link. In these cases connect the remote starter’s fused 12V power wire directly to the T-Harness.
