WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE GUARANTEE, INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING MUST BE
CARRIED OUT BY A PROFESSIONAL.
- Improper use of the lift may damage vehicles or injure people.
- To ensure correct installation and good performance of the lift when raising or lowering it, the floor must be perfectly level. Any inclination or slope can adversely affect the performance of the lift.
- The lift must not be installed on an asphalt floor. In accordance with the prescribed requirements, the lift may only be installed on a concrete floor that is intact, in good condition and free of cracks and defects, and only after the load-bearing capacity of the floor itself has been ascertained.
- Without certification issued by an architect or engineer, the lift should not be installed on a floor area above an empty room.
- The lift must not be installed near devices that emit heat, devices from which water escapes, air humidifiers or stoves.
- Power supply: before installing the equipment, make sure you have prepared the electrical connection.
- The manufacturer assumes no liability for direct or indirect damage due to incorrect installation or improper use of the equipment.
INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
GENERAL ORIENTATION
- The lift can only be installed on a concrete floor with steel reinforcement.
- The concrete must be ≥200 mm thick to ensure that it can withstand a force of 3000 PSI (2.1 kg/ mm2).
- The area where the lift is installed must be at least 4m high, so that adequate space can be provided to work easily and safely and to carry out vehicle lifting operations.
- The safety distances between the lift and any walls must be at least 120cm, allowing easy access to escape routes in an emergency.
Global assembly
Installating the arms
Install the arms in the slots located on the lifting plate on the post
Install the corresponding arm extensions and secure them with M8×12 bolts to
prevent swaying.
Install the adapter into the holes on the extension arms (you can choose the
height adapter according to the chassis of your vehicle). See fi gure 4
Installing the electromagnetic release devices
Install the electromagnetic safety device on the post.
Adjust the pin nut to ensure that the safety device catches the carriage (the
distance between the inner side of the post and the carriage is about 30~34
mm) then proceed with fixing the nut. (See figure 5)
Installation of the limit switch
Install the limit switches and adjust the angle of the arms to bring them into
contact with the lifting plate.
Installation of hydraulic system
Attach the hydraulic pump to the top of the post.
Connect the hydraulic connections as shown in Figure 6.

CALIBRATION
Checks
Check with a spirit level that the post is installed in an absolutely vertical
position.
Check that the power supply connection is correct, paying particular attention
to the rotation of the three-phase motor.
Make sure all the bolts are tightened properly.
Check by pressing the «UP» button that the electromagnets release the
mechanical safety devices and that releasing the button stops the lifting
plate.
Press the «DOWN» button and check that the electromagnets release the safety
devices and allow the lifting plate to be lowered to a height of about 220 mm.
Press the «LOCK/SEC. DOWN» button and check that the electromagnets release
the safety devices and allow the lifting plate to be lowered to the minimum
height position.
Testing lift load
The operation of the electrohydraulic system should be tested when it is under
maximum load.
Important:
Check all oil hoses and fittings to make sure there are no oil leaks before
performing lifting operations.
Use all available arms to lift the vehicle, placing them at the recommended
points. The centre of gravity of the vehicle must be in the middle of the arm
support.
- Remove any goods from the vehicle before testing
- Check that the weight is properly distributed
- Personnel must not stand under the load during testing.
- Disconnect the power supply cable if the lift does not work.
OPERATING PHASE
OPERATION OF THE MECHANICAL SYSTEM
The mobile single post lift is equipped with a displacement mechanism. Using
the steering bar you can position the lift in the desired position. By
pressing the handle on the steering bar you can retract the wheel so that the
post rests firmly on the ground. During this operation, make sure that there
are no unnecessary objects in the work area or the surrounding area. The lift
must not be moved in the raised position.
OPERATING PHASES FOR THE ELECTRICAL CONTROL SYSTEM
After connecting the power cord, press the «UP» button for two or three
seconds and wait for the lift to start rising; be careful of the lifting arms.
If the lift does not start to rise, check that the electrical connections are
correct and that the phases are not reversed.
OPERATIONAL PHASES
- Make sure the vehicle’s engine is turned off .
- Place the lift in the correct position to elevate the vehicle
- Make sure that there are no unnecessary objects or lubricant contamination in the area below and immediately surrounding the lift.
- Hold the handle in the steering bar to lock the lift to the ground.
- Correctly position the 4 pads on the lifting arms at the attachment points on the vehicle
- Press the «UP» button to lift the vehicle about 10–15 centimeters
- Release the «UP» button and check that the previously positioned pads have not moved.
- Check that the main lifting platform does not touch the chassis of the vehicle being lifted; if necessary, adjust the pads. Adjust the height of the pads by rotating clockwise and anticlockwise (Figure 15)
- Lift the vehicle to the required height, making sure that it is stable.
- When the operation is complete, press the «down» button to lower the lift.
- Release the handle to lower the lift wheel so that you can remove the lift.
- Move the lift

MAINTENANCE
Please read this chapter carefully, as it covers the safety precautions to be
taken during maintenance and repair operations so as to avoid accidents.
WARNING:
- Do not elevate the vehicle while manoeuvring the lift.
- Do not move the post while a vehicle is raised;
- The lift must only be operated once the vehicle engine has been switched off ;
- The lift can be started after ensuring that the pad on the support arm is firmly positioned on the coupling point under the chassis of the vehicle.
- Do not allow anyone to enter the work area during lifting operations;
- No objects other than vehicles may be placed on the lifting arms (including petrol and acidbased chemicals);
- The lift should not be used as a forklift truck to lift goods;
- Check that no cables are subjected to pressure from heavy objects.
- To avoid serious accidents, make sure that electrical cables do not come into contact with water or other substances;
- Vehicles exceeding the specified weight must not be lifted.
WARNING:
All pins, sliding blocks, steel cables and other moving parts in the lift must
be lubricated regularly.
The hydraulic oil must be changed at least once a year. The oil level must
always reach at least the minimum limit indicated.
The integrity of the steel cables should be checked regularly. If you fi nd
any abrasions or defects you should not use the lift; please contact the
manufacturer.
When changing the hydraulic oil, put the lift in the ground position before
removing the old oil. We recommend using an oil filter when topping up with
oil.

HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
When the «UP» button is pressed, the motor is started, the pump transfers oil
from the tank to the cylinders and the lifting plate starts to move.
The breather valve is closed and the pressure is set before the lift is loaded
to ensure maximum lift.
When the pressure exceeds the maximum peak, the drain valve will activate and
the oil will return to the tank.
When the «UP» button is released, the motor stops working and the lifting
plate stops.
When the «DOWN» button is pressed the electromagnets release the safety
devices, the pump returns the oil to the tank and the lifting plate starts to
descend
