Before using the unit, please make sure you have read and understood this instruction manual.

SECURITY MEASURES

1. This thermal stapler should only be used by qualified and trained personnel.

2. CLAS will not be held responsible in the following situations:
   • Misuse or deliberate detour to other purposes resulting in undesirable consequences.
   • The product has been deliberately damaged or broken.
   • The safety guard has been reassembled or damaged.
   • Use of the device after disassembly of the casing.
   • Failure to follow the instructions in this safety guide when using the device.
   • Failure to follow the vehicle manufacturer’s instructions for repairing non- repairable automotive electronic and electrical systems (e.g. airbags, computers, etc.).

3. The attached power cord should be checked regularly. If damaged, it must be replaced by qualified personnel.

4. Do not use the unit in damp or wet environments.

5. Follow the safety regulations for use in environments containing flammable liquids.

6. If the device comes into contact with water or malfunctions, do not continue to use it or attempt to repair it. Let it dry naturally and/or contact your dealer.

7. Do not use the unit in the rain (risk of electric shock).

8. To avoid fire, do not use this product in a flammable and/or explosive environment.

9. If you need to use the device in a paint booth, please evacuate the stale air from the booth before using the device.

IMPORTANT

1. Please fully charge the battery at least once every three months, to maintain the performance of the battery if you do not use it for a long time.
2. Please use the appropriate adapter and USB charging cable to charge the device, otherwise the product may be damaged and people’s safety may be endangered.
3. Ensure that the user is always in full possession and under control. Keep away from untrained and/ or inexperienced people (including children), etc.
4. Make sure this device is kept out of reach of children to avoid injuries caused by play.
5. The staples of this device are made of special materials and not of ordinary wire. When the staples are worn out, please contact the supplier to order new ones. Malfunction caused by the misuse of staples of other materials will not be covered by the warranty.
6. The device should be stored in a cool and dry place. When used outdoors, avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight.
7. Wear gloves to avoid burns and goggles to protect your eyes while sanding.
8. Do not strike this thermal stapler.
9. The product is not suitable for pipeline products that require sealing requirements for the transportation of liquids or gases.
10. This device may not be used by children but by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, provided they have been supervised or instructed in the safe use of the device and understand the risks involved.
11. Cleaning and maintenance must be performed by adults only.
12. Please release the trigger immediately to stop the heater once the heater clip turns red during operation.

OPERATION

1. Flip the switch to UNLOCK. Make sure the indicator lights up (when the status is LOCK, the function of the product is locked but it does not affect the charging function and the charge indication).
   

2. Depending on the shape of the position to be repaired, select the corresponding clip and insert on the electrodes rod and in the appropriate direction (Fig 1).
   

3. Hold the stapler handle firmly, align the staple to the cracks to be repaired, press the heating button, the staple will be heated and melt into the plastic in a few seconds, turn the handle slightly horizontally, so that the cross section of the staple is completely covered. Wrap the melted plastic to strengthen the connection, release the heat button and hold it for 3 seconds, then remove the stapler body. The fusion is complete (Fig 2).
   

4. Cut the exposed part of the staple or move it back and forth with your hands until it breaks **(Fig 3).

MAINTENANCE

1. To ensure good contact with the heating clip, the small holes in the electrodes bars must be kept clean.
2. Do not place the unit in a dusty place for a long time.
3. Make sure that the small hole on the gun body is clean to ensure good heat dissipation inside the unit.
4. Fully charge the battery once every three months to maintain its performance if not used for a long time.
