Product Usage Tips

Intended use
- This product is for food preparation only. It is intended for domestic use and not for commercial purposes.
- The product must always be used indoors, protected from moisture and water. This appliance must not be operated by children or persons with reduced physical abilities due to the possibility of burns from hot surfaces.
- This product is only intended for the purposes described in the manual.
- The supplier is released from liability for any injury or damage caused by using the product outside of its intended use.

- Always observe the following precautions when using ‘the airfryer’, hereinafter referred to as ‘the pro-duct’.
General
- Before first use, remove all packaging material and any stickers.
- If this is your first time using the product, it is important to read the manual and instructions carefully.
- If the product is malfunctioning, dropped or damaged, do not use the product and consult our custo-mer service.
- Before each use, check the parts and accessories for damage or wear (cracks/breakage) that may adver-sely affect its operation and, if so, replace them with original or manufacturer-recommended parts and accessories.
- Do not use accessories not offered by the supplier. They may pose a danger to the user and damage the product.
- Use the product only for the purposes indicated in this manual.
- Do not disassemble, repair or restore the product. Doing so may cause damage to the product. For your own safety, these parts should only be replaced by authorized service personnel. Always send the product to service center for repairs to prevent damage and personal injury.
- Be aware of the risks and consequences associated with improper use of the product. Misuse of the product may result in personal injury and damage to the product.
- Do not store explosive substances such as aerosols containing flammable propellant near the product. The accessories of the product are dishwasher friendly.
- The outside of the product may become hot when the product is in use. So be alert when touching the outside!
- Do not put a cover over the product when it is on.
- Always use the product on a flat surface and make sure there is free space under and around the motor housing. Keep the vents on the bottom of the motor housing free of dust and lint to prevent fire, never expose them to liquids or flammable materials such as newspapers, napkins, tea towels, etc.
- The product is suitable for indoor use only. Do not use the product outdoors. Doing so may result in damage to the product.
- The product is designed and intended for private use. Do not use the product for commercial purposes. Keep the product away from heat, areas where the temperature is relatively high, and heat sources such as ovens.
- Do not place metal objects such as knives, forks, spoons and lids on the product, these can become hot. Be alert when touching these objects.
- Do not move the product if it is on or has not yet cooled down.
- Make sure the foods prepared in the product come out golden brown and not dark brown or black. Remove any burnt parts and do not eat them. This may actually lead to health issues.

Do not allow children to play with the product. Use and store the product out
of the reach of children. To avoid personal injury and damage to the product,
do not allow anyone to climb, sit, stand or climb on the product.
Use
- When the product is on, (hot) air comes out of the ventilation system. Keep your face and hands away from this ventilation system. Avoid the hot air coming out of the product when you open it.
- Do not cover the product when it is on. Never place pillows or blankets on or against the product. This may cause a fire hazard, electric shock, personal injury or damage to the product.
- Parts of the product become hot. Do not clean the product while it is still hot. Wait until the product has cooled down before cleaning it.
- Do not put too much food in the product. Distribute the food evenly and do not exceed the maximum loading capacity.
- Use the product only when the basket or grill is in it.
- Use the product only in within the specified temperature range.
- Use the product only when necessary. Do not leave the product in operation indefinitely.
- Do not use the product and accessories on the stove or in combination with boiling water, as this may cause damage or personal injury.
- Do not use the product near a bathtub, shower, swimming pool, or near a (laundry) tub filled with water. Do not touch the product or power cord with wet hands. Do not allow the product to come into contact with water. Do not immerse the product in water.
- If water does get inside or on the product, turn the product off immediately and contact our customer service department.
- Do not use the product near objects or surfaces that are sensitive to heat.
- The product may become very hot during use. Therefore, place the product on a heat-resistant plate during use. For example, never put it on a plastic table, plastic tablecloth or on a refrigerator.
- The product becomes hot when it is on. Do not touch the hot surfaces. Do not use the product if you are sensitive to heat. Do not touch the hot parts of the product. Use only the handle or knob.
- Do not install the product in a place without ventilation (for example, on a bookshelf or in a closet) or on a carpet or cushion. Make sure the ventilation holes are not blocked and that the product is at least 30 cm from the wall(s) and ceiling.
- Never boil or heat liquids in the product.
- Let the product cool completely before cleaning or storing it.
- Never leave the product unattended when in use.

- Make sure the ventilation system is not blocked when the product is on. This may cause overheating. Keep at least 30 cm of space around the ventilation grid.
- Do not use the product for more than 60 minutes at a time.
When emptying the basket, make sure that the grill plate does not fall out of the basket. Use tongs if ne-cessary, for example to remove larger snacks from the basket. The grill plate is very hot and may cause personal injury or damage to the product.
Electronics
- If the power fails during use, turn the product off immediately and unplug the product.
- Unplug and turn off the product when not in use and before cleaning the product.
- Do not unplug the product by pulling the power cord. This may cause fire or electric shock.
- If black smoke comes out of the product, unplug the product immediately. Wait until the smoke is gone before removing the contents of the product and contact our customer service department.
- Do not leave the cable hanging over the edge of a table or countertop.
- Do not place the cable on hot surfaces or near oil.
- Do not tuck the power cable under rugs or blankets. Never lay the cable in a walkway.
- Do not move the product by pulling the cord or twist the cord.
- Before connecting the product, make sure that the mains voltage indicated on the rating plate matches that of your mains supply.
- Make sure you do not trip over the cable and that the cable is not kinked, twisted, or stuck.
- Check both power cord and plug regularly for signs of damage or wear, and if there is any, do not use the product and have the power cord and/or plug replaced or repaired by authorized service personnel. To avoid electric shock, do not use the product if you suspect the power cord or plug is damaged. A da-maged power cord or plug should be repaired or replaced by a professional (an authorized distributor). Use and store the product so that the cables cannot be damaged.
- Use only the adapter and/or accessories provided by the supplier to prevent overheating, explosions, electric shock, fire, other damage and personal injury.
- Do not use an extension cord. Make sure the product is plugged into a grounded outlet to which no other devices are connected.
- The product is not suitable to be operated via an external timer or a separate remote control.
- Do not leave the product unattended when in use. When not in use, turn the product off and unplug it. Should the system that controls the internal temperature fail, the overheat protection will automatically come on and the product will not function. Unplug the product, let it cool down completely and restart the product.
- Never insert objects into the slots on the outside of the product, you may touch live parts. This may cause fire and/or electric shock.
- Do not move the product while it is on. Always turn the product off before moving or cleaning it.
- Turn off and unplug the product when you are not using or cleaning the product. Allow the product to cool completely before cleaning the product.
- Always use the product with a grounded indoor 220-240V~, 50/60Hz outlet.
Receiving your shipment
When receiving your shipment, make sure that the contents are consistent with the packing list. Notify your distributor of any missing items. If the equipment appears to be damaged, file a claim immediately with the carrier and notify your distributor at once, giving a detailed description of any damage. Save the damaged packing container to substantiate your claim.

Operating instructions
Before first use
- Clean the basket and tray thoroughly with hot water and detergent. Do not use an abrasive sponge.
- Place the product on a stable, horizontal, level and heat-resistant surface. Leave at least 30 cm of space around the back, sides and top of the product. Do not put anything on top of the product.
- Place the basket in the tray. You will hear a “ting” sound when the basket is properly placed. Put the bin back into the product.
How to use
- Plug in the power cord.
- Click the on/off button.
- Press the “+” and “-” buttons on the left side to set the temperature and preheat the product.
- Press the “+” and “-” buttons on the right side to set the time.
- Set the time to 5 minutes to preheat the product.
- Press the on/off button to preheat the product.
- Carefully remove the container by the handle from the product when the timer is set to 0. Be careful, the product is hot. Put the ingredients in the °C basket (max. 2.4 L). Slide the tray back into the product.
- Click on “M” to select the desired program. Press the “+” and “-” buttons on the left side to set the temperature. Press the “+” and “-” buttons on the right side to set the time.
- Click the on/off button again to turn the product on.
- Every so often, carefully take the tray out and stir the food. This will make the food less likely to burn and cook properly.
- The timer will beep when it returns to 0. Remove the tray and basket and place them on a heat-resistant surface.
- Check if your food is ready. If it is not ready yet, put the basket back in the product and set the timer and temperature.
- Do not turn the container over if you have just removed it from the product. There may be hot residual oil on the bottom that could get on the food or cause personal injury.
- Remove the basket from the tray and put the food on a plate. You can use the product again immediately.
Preset programs
The product has 6 preset programs. The temperature and time of these are
preset based on the type of food. If desired, you can adjust the temperature
and time with the be using the ‘plus (+)’ and ‘minus (-)’ buttons.
Tip: Add a teaspoon of oil to the food for extra crunch.
Maintenance and cleaning
Set the timer to 0. Unplug the product and wait for it to cool completely before cleaning. The bowl and basket are dishwasher safe, but we recommend hand washing for longer life. Use a mild detergent and do not use an abrasive sponge. Do not immerse the rest of the product in water. If there is dirt or food residue on the bottom of the tray and/or basket, fill the tray with hot water until the bottom of the bas-ket is also submerged. Let this stand for 10 minutes and then remove the dirt. Clean the housing with a damp cloth do not use abrasive cleaners or sponges.
Storage
Store the product in a clean and dry place. Do not store the device in extreme high or extreme low temperatures.
Disposal – recycle
Think about the environment and contribute to a cleaner living environment! This product is subject to the European Directive (EU) 2012/19/EU. At the end of its service life, do not dispose of the product with normal household waste, but deliver it to a collection point designated by the authorities for recycling.

- We provide a 2-year warranty on its products. To obtain service during the warranty period, the product needs to be returned with a proof of purchase. Product defects have to be reported within 2 years from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover: damages caused by misuse or incorrect repair; parts subject to wear; defects that the customer was aware of at the time of purchase; damages or defects caused by customer neglect; damages or defects caused by third parties.
