hyco PT01 Programmable Thermostat
Product Information
The Programmable Thermostat PT01 is designed to provide easy control of your Mistral Plinth Heater from a wall-mounted location near the heater. It allows you to set and control the temperature settings according to your preferences. Please follow the instructions below for installation, electrical connection, wall mounting, operation, program setting, cleaning and maintenance, specification, guarantee and service policy, and contact information.
Product Usage Instructions
- Installation: Follow the installation instructions provided separately for installing the programmable thermostat.
- Electrical Connection: Connect the programmable thermostat to the power supply following the electrical connection instructions provided separately.
- Wall Mounting: Mount the programmable thermostat on the wall using the appropriate mounting hardware. Refer to Diagrams 1-4 for assistance.
- Operation: The control panel of the programmable thermostat allows you to perform various functions:
- On/Off: Use the On/Off button to switch the programmable thermostat on or off.
- Select: Use the Select button to navigate through different options.
- Clock: Use the Clock button to set or adjust the time.
- Increase/Decrease: Use the Increase and Decrease buttons to adjust the temperature settings.
- Manual Mode: Activate Manual mode to manually control the plinth heater.
- Program Mode (Advanced): Use the Program mode for advanced programming options.
- Heating: Indicates when the plinth heater is actively heating.
- Advanced Program Operation: Set your personalized program on the programmable thermostat. Refer to Diagram 5 for assistance.

7 Day Programmable Thermostat
Overview
Thank you for purchasing a Programmable Thermostat. It will give you easy
control of your Mistral Plinth Heater from a wall mounted location near the
heater.
Please read and follow these instructions to ensure that installation and
operation are as simple and safe as possible.
Installation
- The programmable thermostat is designed to fit in a standard pattress box.
- It must be located within reach of the plinth heater cable.
Electrical Connection
This programmable thermostat should only be installed and maintained by a competent person in accordance with any local electrical regulations.
- Electrical connection should be made via a 13A switched fuse spur.
- Connect mains supply neutral and mains supply live to terminals 3 and 4 respectively.
- Connect plinth heater live and plinth heater neutral to terminals 1 and 2 respectively.
- Connect mains supply earth to plinth heater earth with terminal block or similar connector.
Wall Mounting
- Using a flat head screwdriver carefully insert into either of the 2 slots on the under side of the programmable thermostat and pull upwards to release, repeat with the remaining slot.
- Lift the front cover away from the body of the programmable thermostat.
- Place the programmable thermostat into its required final mounting position and using the 2 fixing screws supplied secure in place.
- To refit the front cover place the top side first onto 2 tabs which should click when in place.
- The rest of the front cover should now push down and click to secure the programmable thermostat.
Operation
Control Panel Overview
Plinth Heater Settings
In order to use the plinth heater with the programmable thermostat the plinth
heater must be switched on, with the thermostat set to the maximum setting and
the desired heat setting selected.
Turn on the Programmable Thermostat
Turn the programmable thermostat on using the on/ off button. Single press
will display the bottom row of symbols. Double press for full screen. The
display screen may show as dimmed or unlit, if this is the case refer to
diagram 5 for location of the on/ off button.
Setting the Clock
- To set the clock press
- The hour/ minute of the time display will flash, use the button to cycle to the current time, press to store.
- You will now automatically progress onto setting the day of the week. Use the to cycle to the current day, once this has been chosen the day will automatically save after a couple of seconds.
Switching Between Manual and Program Mode
• When the programmable thermostat is in manual mode the manual mode icon will
be displayed.
To change between manual and program mode and toggle between the two modes.
Manual Operation
Setting the Target Temperature
- To set the temperature press either and cycle to the desired temperature. Once this has been chosen the temperature will automatically save after a couple of seconds.
- Your programmable thermostat is now set and ready to use with your plinth heater.
Power On/ Off
Ensure the programmable thermostat is in manual mode Switch the programmable thermostat on/off using the on/off button. Whilst switched on the programmable thermostat will control the plinth heater to reach the desired temperature setting until switched off.
Advanced Program Operation
There is an option to set an advanced program for your plinth heater which is
made up of 6 separate
segments per day. This allows wake up, leave and return times/ temperatures to
be set in advance.
Setting Your Program
- To choose program mode (advanced) use .
- If you have chosen program mode (advanced) you can configure your week.
- The programmable thermostat is supplied factory preset to a working week of Monday – Friday and the weekend Saturday – Sunday. Set one program for working week days and one program for weekend days.
- Each program needs to contain 6 segments. Set the time and temperature for each segement. Once stored it will automatically take you to the next segment.
- When the display is on press and hold until the hour segment flashes and segment 1 symbol is displayed (see diagram 5).
- Use the to cycle to your desired time and to store.
- To set the desired temperature press and use the / to cycle to your desired temperature and to store.
- The segment symbol you are working on will flash. To confirm press or after approx 10 seconds it will automatically save.
- If program mode (advanced) times out it will store the program you have set but you will need to return to the beginning of program mode to contine.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Use a soft damp cloth when cleaning, avoid excessive use of liquids.

Guarantee and Service Policy
- This product is covered by a standard parts or replacement warranty for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase.
- If there is a manufacturing defect within the warranty period we will send spare parts, repair and return the unit or, at our discretion, supply a replacement product. Incorrect installation or failure to follow correct operating and maintenance instructions are excluded. Consequential costs such as labour charges or damage to fittings and surroundings are expressly excluded.

equipment separately enables its components to be recovered and recycled to
obtain significant savings in energy and resources. In order to underline the
duty to dispose of this equipment separately, the product is marked with a
crossed out dustbin.
