Safety
Ensure that the packaging material is kept away from children to prevent any risk of suffocation. During use, the surfaces of the product become very hot. Handle the product only by the handles to avoid burns. Always read and follow the manual and safety information carefully before use. -
Assembly and Installation
Assembling the product (tabletop model): -
Place the main housing on a dry, flat surface.

Position the grill plate on the main housing so that both drains are vertically aligned.

Ensure that the grill plate is securely attached to the main housing.
Mounting the windscreen (for outdoor use)
Attach the side ends of the windscreen to the left and right sides of the product. -
First Time Use
Before using the product for the first time, ensure all parts are correctly assembled as per the instructions provided in the manual. Clean the grill plate and warm-up the unit without any food to remove any residues from manufacturing.

Intended use
An electric barbecue is designed to provide a safe and versatile option for preparing grilled food in a variety of environments. This product can also be used indoors or where open flames are not allowed. The product uses electricity as the energy source to generate the heat needed to grill food. This makes it possible to barbecue without depending on charcoal or gas fuel. The supplier is released from liability for any injury or damage caused by using the product beyond its intended use. Any modification of the product may affect your safety and warranty. -

- Always observe the following precautions when using ‘the Electric grill stand/tabletop’, hereinafter referred to as ‘the product’.
General
- If this is your first time using the product, it is important to read the manual and instructions carefully.
- If the product is malfunctioning, dropped or damaged, do not use the product and consult our customer service.
- Before each use, check the parts and accessories for damage or wear (cracks/breakage) that may adversely affect its operation and, if so, replace them with original or manufacturer-recommended parts and accessories.
- Do not use accessories not offered by the supplier. They may pose a danger to the user and damage the product.
- Use the product only for the purposes indicated in this manual.
- Do not disassemble, repair or restore the product. Doing so may cause damage to the product. For your own safety, these parts should only be replaced by authorized service personnel. Always send the product to a service center for repairs to prevent damage and personal injury.
- Be aware of the risks and consequences associated with improper use of the product. Misuse of the product may result in personal injury and damage to the product.
- Before first use, remove all packaging material and any stickers.
- The product may become hot when turned on. Be careful when touching it!
- The product is designed and intended for private use. Do not use the product for commercial purposes.
- Keep the product away from heat, areas where the temperature is relatively high and heat sources such as ovens.
- Do not place the product near (highly) flammable materials such as dry grass, bushes, paper, newspapers, clothing, towels, chemicals, etc. This may cause a fire!
- Do not move the product if it is on or has not yet cooled down.
- Due to residual heat, the heating element remains hot after use. Do not touch the hot surface. This may result in personal injury.
- The product and its accessories are not dishwasher safe.
Persons
- If burns occur, immediately run lukewarm water over the affected body part. Do not stop to remove clothing and seek medical attention quickly.
- This product should not be used by children.
- The product may be used by young people over 16 years of age, provided they are properly supervised and informed about the safe use of the product and understand its potential hazards.
- This product should not be used by people with physical or mental disabilities.
- Keep the product and cord out of the reach of children and pets.
- To avoid personal injury and damage to the product, do not allow anyone to climb on the product or lean against it.
Use
- To avoid personal injury, never leave the product unattended when it is on and when it has not yet cooled down.
- The product becomes hot when it is on. Do not touch the hot surfaces. Do not use the product if you are (un)sensitive to heat.
- Always place the product on a level, stable and non-flammable surface.
- Do not use the product near objects or surfaces that are sensitive to heat. Place the product at least 30 cm away from walls and other objects when it is on.
- The product is not intended to dry or heat objects.
- Wait for the product to cool completely before cleaning it.
- Do not use the product near a bathtub, shower, swimming pool or a (laundry) tub filled with water. Do not touch the product and power cord with wet hands to avoid personal injury and damage to the product. If water does get inside or on the product, turn the product off immediately and contact our customer service department.
- Do not use the product when it is raining. This may result in damage to the product and personal injury.
- Do not use the product as a heater. That is not what the product is intended for, prolonged use of the product may result in damage to the product.
- Do not use charcoal, briquettes or other solid/liquid fuels. This may cause fire. Fire may damage the product and lead to personal injury.
- Do not use the product without the drip tray. Without the drip tray, you run the risk of hot grease residue landing on the surface. This may cause damage to the surface, such as grease spots, and accidents may occur.
- Do not use aerosol cooking sprays on the non-stick coating. The chemicals that cause the spray to come out of the canister can damage the surface of the plates and reduce their effectiveness. This can cause damage to the products.
- Do not place metal objects such as knives, forks, spoons and lids on the product, these can become hot. So be alert when touching these objects.
- Never cover the product with aluminum foil, plates or other objects. The accumulated heat can damage the product and cause a fire.
- Make sure that the grill plate is not in contact with the heating coil.
- Never fill the product with water.
- When the product is first used, there may be a distinct odor or light smoke. This is normal and will disappear after several uses. Make sure there is good ventilation.
Electronics
- Before connecting the product, make sure that the mains voltage indicated on the rating plate matches that of your mains supply.
- Make sure the product does not come into contact with water. If water does get in or on the product, do not touch the product, unplug it and contact our customer service department.
- Do not move the product by pulling the cord or twist the cord.
- Do not unplug the product by pulling the power cord. This may cause fire or electric shock.
- If black smoke comes out of the product, unplug the product immediately. Wait until the smoke is gone before removing the contents of the product and contact our customer service department.
- If the power fails during use, immediately turn off the product and unplug it.
- If the surface of the product is cracked, turn off the product to avoid electric shock.
- Check both power cord and plug regularly for signs of damage or wear, and if there is any, do not use the product and have the power cord and/or plug replaced or repaired by authorized service personnel.
- To avoid electric shock, do not use the product if you suspect the power cord or plug is damaged. A damaged power cord or plug should be repaired or replaced by a professional (an authorized distributor).
- Unplug and turn off the product when not in use and before cleaning the product.
- Use and store the product so that the cables cannot be damaged.
- Use only the adapter and/or accessories provided by the supplier to prevent overheating, explosions, electric shock, fire, other damage and personal injury.
- The product should only be connected to a grounded 230V~ outlet.
- Do not leave the product unattended when in use. If you are not using the product for a long period of time, turn the product off and unplug it from the wall outlet.
- Do not leave the cable(s) hanging over the edge of a table or countertop.
- Do not place the cable(s) on hot surfaces or near oil.
- Do not tuck the cable(s) under rugs or blankets. Make sure the cable is never in a walkway.
- Make sure you do not trip over the cable(s) and that the cable(s) is not kinked, twisted, or stuck.
- Should the system that controls the internal temperature fail, the overheat protection will automatically come on and the product will not function. Unplug the product, let it cool down completely and restart the product.
- The product is not suitable to be controlled by an external timer or a separate remote control.
- Turn off and unplug the product when not using or cleaning the product. Let the product cool down completely before cleaning the product.
- Never open the casing of the product. There are no user-serviceable elements inside the product. Removing the product casing creates the risk of fatal electric shock.
- Use only an extension cord that you are sure has no defects. Do not connect multiple extension cords together.
- For outdoor use, the product must be connected to an outlet with a ground fault circuit interrupter with a tripping current of no more than 30mA in the circuit. Ask your electrician for advice.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Assembly
Assembling the product (tabletop use)
- Place the main body on a dry, level surface.
- Place the grill plate on the main body so that both drains are vertically aligned.
- Check to make sure that the grill plate has locked onto the main body.
Assembling the wind shield (outdoor use)
If you would like to use the product outdoors, it is recommended to put on the
wind shield:
- Place the side ends of the wind shield on the left and right side of the main body.
- From above, push the back wall of the wind shield into the two wind shield holders on the back wall of the main body.
Assembling the frame (standing use)
You can use this product directly on a table or put it on its frame. The frame
is assembled as follows:
- From below, insert one of the legs through one of the openings at the corners of the shelf.
- Push the leg up until the holes in the shelf and leg are vertically aligned.
- Insert a screw through the hole from the front.
- Secure the screw by screwing a wing nut onto it.
- Mount the three other legs in the same way.
- Place the oval base on the four legs from above so that the holes in the legs and the base are vertically aligned.
- Insert a screw through the hole from the front.
- Secure the screw by screwing a wing nut onto it.
- Follow the same steps for the three other corners.
- Install the side tables on the sides of the base.
- Place the main body on the frame.
- Make sure that the main body locks into the frame.
Before first use
- Remove all leftover packaging.
- Assemble the product as described in the chapter 3.1 “Assembly”.
- Clean the product as described in the chapter 5 “Maintenance and cleaning”.
- Set up the product on a level, stable, fireproof base in a suitable location.
- Rotate the thermostat control to the “MIN” setting.
- Connect the product to a socket with an earthing contact.
- Rotate the thermostat control to the “MAX” setting.
- Let the product heat up at the highest temperature setting for 10–15 minutes.
- Rotate the thermostat control to the “MIN” setting.
- To switch the product off, pull the mains plug out of the socket.
- Let the product cool off.
- Repeat steps 6 to 10. The product is then ready for use.
Note
When the product is first used, there may be a distinct odor or light
smoke. This is normal and will disappear after several uses. Make sure there
is good ventilation.
Note
- This product contains a snap thermostat. During the first use, it automatically switches off after the first 4 minutes.
- Whenever the temperature rises to 240°C, the thermostat is deactivated and the temperature slowly drops to around 200°C.
- Whenever the temperature falls down to 200°C, the thermostat reactivates and the temperature slowly rises to around 240°C.
Using the product

Clean the product as described in the chapter 5 “Maintenance and cleaning”.

Place the product on a level, stable, fireproof base in a suitable location.
-
Rotate the thermostat control to the “MIN” setting.
-
Connect the product to a socket with an earthing contact.
-
Rotate the thermostat control to the “MAX” setting.
-
The red and blue light flash to indicate that the product is heating up.
Then the blue light stays on to indicate that the selected temperature is reached. The lights will flash again when the product needs to heat up again. For best results, let the product heat up for 10 to 15 minutes before placing food on the grill plate. -
Place the food you would like to barbecue on the grill plate.

If you need to reduce the temperature, e.g. when barbecuing delicate foods such as fish or mushrooms, simply rotate the thermostat control to the left.

When you are done using the product, rotate the thermostat control to the “MIN”.

Take the food off of the grill plate.
-
To switch the product off, pull the mains plug out of the socket.
-
Let the product cool off completely.
Note
Do not put frozen food on the grill plate. The temperature difference may
cause a short-term deformation of the grill plate. Thaw frozen food first to
at least fridge temperature before placing it on the grill plate.
TROUBLESHOOTING

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
ATTENTION!
- Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning agents or metallic cleaning utensils such as knives, hard scrapers or similar.
- Do not put parts of the product in the dishwasher.
- Do not immerse the product in liquids and do not use a steam cleaner to clean it.
- Pull the mains plug out of the socket before cleaning.
- Let the product cool off completely.
- Empty the fat drip tray.
- Take the wind shield off if necessary.
- Take the grill plate out of the grill tray.
- Wipe the heating coil off with a dry cloth.
- Wipe off the outside of the grill tray with a damp cloth with soft detergent.
- Clean the grill plate, the fat drip tray and the wind shield with water and a soft detergent.
- Rince them well with a damp cloth to take all detergent off the surfaces.
- Let all parts dry completely.
STORAGE
Store the product indoors. Store the product in a clean and dry place avoiding
extreme high or extreme low temperatures. Store the product in assembled state
to protect the heating coil from damages.
DISPOSAL AND RECYCLE
Think about the environment and contribute to a cleaner living environment!
You can contact your local council for all information on disposal options for
discarded products.
Disposal
- At the end of its life, do not dispose of the product with normal household waste, but hand it in at a government designated collection point for recycling.
- Dispose of the packaging and accessories in accordance with the environmental regulations in force in your local council. Pay attention to the symbols on the different packaging materials and – if necessary dispose of them separately. The packaging materials are marked with letters and numbers: 1-7: plastic, 20-22: paper and cardboard, 80-98 composite materials.

The symbol shown here with the crossed-out garbage can indicates that this product is subject to European Directive (EU) 2012/19/EU. This directive states that at the end of its service life, you must not dispose of this product with normal household waste, but hand it in at a government designated collection point for recycling.
