SDN PowerConnect Power Panel

The SDN PowerConnect Power Panel is a versatile electrical panel designed for indoor use. It can be either surface-mounted or flush-mounted, providing flexibility for installation. The dimensions of the power panel are as follows: the cover measures 12 inches (W) x 12 inches (H), and the enclosure measures 12 inches (W) x 12 inches (H) x 4 inches (D).

The power panel features knock-outs with concentric sizes for conduit. There are a total of 5 knock-outs: C & G have a size of 0.75 inches (1 inch), D & F have a size of 0.5 inches (0.75 inches), and E has a size of 1 inch (1.25 inches).

For motor connections, the SDN Motor cable is available. There are two types of cables: non-plenum (#9020126 for US, #9020452 for CA) and plenum (#9020127 for US, #9020453 for CA).

Product Usage Instructions

SDN PowerConnect Power Panel

1. Mounting: The power panel can be surface-mounted or flush-mounted. Use appropriate fasteners to mount it securely to the desired surface. The mounting holes are located on the back of the box.
2. Conduit Installation: Use the provided knock-outs for conduit installation. Match the appropriate size of the knock-out with the size of your conduit.
3. Motor Connections: Refer to the motor instructions for detailed information on connecting motors to the power panel. Use the provided V+ and V- connections for 24V DC power to RTS motors. The G connection is for RS485 communication signal ground.
4. Device Connections: Connect existing SDN devices to the board’s device port using an RJ45 adaptor. Two RJ45 adaptors are included with the power panel.
5. Line Voltage Warning: Pay attention to the line voltage warning. Ensure proper electrical connections and follow safety guidelines.

Note: An optional oversized cover (#9800383) is available for purchase separately.

  1. SDN (Somfy Digital Network™) – Integrated RS485
  2. RTS (Radio Technology Somfy®) – Integrated RF
  3. 24V DC outputs are Class 2 per NEC table 11(B)
• Power Panel can be surface- or flush-mounted
• Indoor use only
• Dimensions:
