INTRODUCTION
FIELD OF APPLICATION
The LED RECEIVER io W POWERED 100W and LED RECEIVER io W POWERED 200W are
receivers equipped with io-home control® radio technology. They enable you to
independently control, at constant voltage, one or two white LED light
source(s) connected to the constant voltage output(s) (24 V), via a Somfy io
home control® control point, e.g. Situo 1 or 5 Variation io (for more details,
contact your retailer).
These receivers enables you to vary the light intensity of the LED lights, and
program a favourite light intensity, i.e. the favourite position: this
favourite position can for instance be set to night-lighting. The factory
default setting for the favourite light intensity is 50% of the maximum
intensity.
Their compact size enables them to be discreetly installed near the product
they are controlling, via a direct mains power supply cable connection.
These receivers’ IP44 index protection rating makes them suitable for outdoor
use, and ideal for controlling the lighting of an awning, a pergola or a
veranda.
LIABILITY
Before installing and using the receiver, please read this instructions guide
carefully.
It must be installed by a home automation professional, in accordance with
Somfy’s instructions and the regulations applicable in the country in which it
is commissioned.
Any operation of the receiver outside the field of application described above
is prohibited. Such use, and any failure to comply with the instructions given
in this guide, would exempt Somfy of any liability and invalidate the
warranty.
The installer must inform their customers of the operating and maintenance
conditions of the receiver, and must provide them with the operating and
maintenance instructions after installing it. Any After-Sales Service
operation on the receiver must be performed by a home automation professional.
Never begin installing without first checking the compatibility of this
product with the associated equipment and accessories.
Should any doubt arise when installing the receiver or for additional
information, consult a Somfy contact or visit
www.somfy.com.
INSTALLATION
ASSEMBLY – WIRING
Warning
Comply with current standards and legislation in the country of installation.
Caution
- Comply with standard NF C 15-100 relating to electrical installations.
- Make sure that the power of the LED lights connected to the receiver does not exceed 4.2 A per output.
Attention
- Cables passing through a metal wall must be protected and insulated using a sheath or sleeve.
- Secure the cables to prevent any contact with moving parts.
- The receiver cable cannot be removed. If it is damaged, return the receiver to the After-Sales service.
- To ensure good radio reception, ensure that the outside antenna is not in contact with any metal item.
- Do not trim the antenna wire.
Danger
Cut off the mains power supply.
Connect the receiver to one or more white LED lights (A) or (B) and to the
mains power supply (C), adhering to the polarity, as per the table and

Warning
By default, the unconnected receiver output cable on the LED RECEIVER io W
POWERED 200W is protected and insulated by a cap. Remove this if using a
second LED light.
Fasten the receiver (using screws, adhesive tapes or collars, for example).
