Liability
These instructions must be kept by the user. Failure to follow these instructions or use of the product outside its field of application is forbidden and will invalidate the warranty and discharge Somfy of all liability. This Somfy product must be installed by a professional drive and home automation installer. Moreover, the installer must comply with the standards and legislation currently in force in the country in which the product is being installed, and inform his customers of the operating and maintenance conditions for the product. Never begin installing without first checking the compatibility of this product with the associated equipment and accessories. If in doubt when installing this product and/ or to obtain additional information, contact a Somfy representative or visit the website www.somfy.com.
Safety instructions
Never use the product if it is not correctly installed and placed inside a connecting box in conformity with the current norms. Do not use or install this product outdoors. If used with a motor, you should also consult the instructions provided with the motor. Keep the product out of the reach of children. Do not knock or drop the product, expose it to flammable materials or sources of heat or moisture, or splash or immerse it. Keep the product far away from liquids.
Caution : danger of electrocution
Before any installation make sure the power supply is disconnected to avoid any risk of electrocution.
Directly cut the power supply from the breaker box to avoid any risk of electrocution. This product is designed to be used power up, a wrong installation can create a fire or an electric shock. This product must be installed and connected carefully following these instructions. Cut the power supply before any operation and don’t do any modification if the LED is still on.
Product description
The IZYMO LIGHTING RECEIVER Zigbee receiver is a radio micro receiver designed for use in home automation systems operated under Zigbee protocols. It enables the control of one or two lightings in on/off mode via a smartphone or Somfy TaHoma switch. It can also act as a Zigbee router to expand your Zigbee mesh network.

Thanks to its compact size, this product can be installed anywhere in the wall or the ceiling (behind an existing wall switch, on the ceiling, etc…).

Each terminal can accept a cable of 2.5 mm² maximum, stripped of 8 mm.
Wiring with switch [→Figure C]
- Switch off the power supply.
- Disassemble the wired wall switch controlling the light(s) to be connected.
- Wire IZYMO LIGHTING RECEIVER Zigbee according to the diagram.
- Reassemble the wired wall switch.
- Turn the power back on.
Wiring without switch [→Figure D]
- Switch off the power supply.
- Wire IZYMO LIGHTING RECEIVER Zigbee according to the diagram.
- Turn the power back on.
Auto-detection of switch type
After turning the power supply on, do a single push on the wired wall switch. IZYMO LIGHTING RECEIVER Zigbee has an autodetection system to automatically detect the type of wired wall switch (toggle switch or push-button) wired at the input.
Note: It is possible to combine a toggle switch with a push-button. To perform a new autodetection, IZYMO LIGHTING RECEIVER Zigbee must be manually reset (see 7. Reset to original configuration).
Pairing to TaHoma switch [→Figure E]
IZYMO LIGHTING RECEIVER Zigbee must be power supplied.
- Briefly press twice the IZYMO LIGHTING RECEIVER Zigbee Press button: the LED blinks orange.
- On the Tahoma application home page, select , choose Lighting & plugs, and then Somfy, and then select Light or Plug as appropriate.
- Follow the instructions in the application to complete the configurations.
Tips: It is recommended to perform the set up of the receiver within 15 feet (4.5 meters) of a Zigbee Router.
Unpairing
IZYMO LIGHTING RECEIVER Zigbee must be power supplied and paired.
- On the Tahoma application home page, select the receiver to be unpaired.
- Follow the instructions in the application to remove the receiver from Tahoma.
Reset to original configuration [→Figure F]
IZYMO LIGHTING RECEIVER Zigbee must be power supplied.
- Press more than 5 seconds on the IZYMO LIGHTING RECEIVER Zigbee Press button: the LED blinks orange.
- Press once again the Press button (short press) to confirm the reset. If the reset is correct, the LED blinks alternatively in red and green and blinks alternatively in orange. Start again if necessary.
- IZYMO LIGHTING RECEIVER Zigbee has now its original settings.
Tips : It is recommended to perform the reset of the receiver within 15 feet (4.5 meters) of a Zigbee Router
