Safety Instructions
Danger of fire!
- If handled or stored improperly, the lenses in optical devices can cause significant damage by focusing light to generate heat. Never allow uncovered optical lenses to lie in direct sunlight!
- Risk of dazzling and injury! Never look directly at the sun through optical devices!
- Protect your illuminated magnifier against impacts of all kinds, moisture and excess heat. Never lay your illuminated magnifier on a heating radiator or in direct sunlight.
- Ensure that other people, particularly children, are aware of these risks!
- Remove depleted batteries! Risk of leakage! Batteries and cells must not be disposed of in household waste! Provide for proper disposal.
Changing the bulb
To open the housing, press the catch on the underside of the housing towards the lens and then fold the top of the handle back. You can then unscrew the bulb from its holder and replace it. Afterwards, simply close the lid so that the catch again engages.
Changing batteries
Open the housing as described in “Changing the bulb”. Remove the depleted batteries and insert the new one as per the marking on the housing lid. Then close the lid again.
Care Instructions
- When cleaning the device, do not use any soap solutions that contain softening agents, no alcohol-based or organic solvents and no abrasive detergents! The lenses could be destroyed.
- Do not clean the device in an ultrasonic bath!
- Clean the device with a soft cotton or linen cloth (e.g. lens cleaning cloth). In case of heavy soiling (e.g. fingerprints) moisten the cleaning cloth slightly.
Warranty
Within the framework of the applicable statutory provisions, we provide a warranty for the functioning of the product described in this manual with regard to faults arising in connection with manufacturing errors or material errors. In event of damage due to improper handling, including damage from a fall or impact, no warranty claim exists. Warranty claims are only accepted upon presentation of the sale receipt!
