Audeze EL-8 Planar Magnetic Headphone User Manual
Thank you for purchasing the Audeze EL-8 headphone. Combining leading-edge planar magnetic technology and innovative acoustic design, the EL-8 is available in both open and closed-back models. To get the most out of your purchase, please take the time to carefully read through this user guide and warranty.
Safety Guide
Volume level is subjective and everyone perceives it differently. Listening to
music for long periods at excessive levels can cause irreparable damage to
your ears. Reduce the volume levels of the amplifier and/or audio device
before listening to your headphones. Gradually increase the volume until the
desired levels are reached. Enjoy your headphones with safe listening habits.
Always maintain a distance of at least 8 inches (20cm) between the headphones
and a cardiac pacemaker, implanted defibrillator, or other medical devices
such as the EL-8 has permanent magnets. Keep the product, accessories, and
packaging out of reach of children. This product is not intended for children
under the age of 12 years old.

Regular maintenance is not required, but an occasional wipe with a clean, dry,
lint-free cloth is recommended. Do not use any type of polish on the wood
veneer. Before using your new EL-8 headphones, take a moment to read our
Comfort Guide.
