Product Information

The Somfy PowerConnectTM Power Panel (Item #: 1871026) is a power panel designed for indoor use only. It can be surface-mounted or flush-mounted. The dimensions of the power panel are asfollows:

• Cover: 12″ (W) x 12″ (H)
• Enclosure: 12″ (W) x 12″ (H) x 4″ (D)

The power panel comes with knock-outs for conduit, with a total of 5 knock- outs available. The sizes of the knock-outs are asfollows:

• C & G: 0.75″ (1)
• D & F: 0.5″ (0.75)
• E: 1″ (1.25)

The power panel also supports SDN Motor cable connections. Non-plenum and plenum SDN Motor cables are available for use with the power panel.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Choose the desired mounting method for the power panel – surface-mount or flush-mount.
2. Ensure that the power panel is used indoors only.
3. Mount the power panel using appropriate fasteners for the surface you are mounting to. The mounting holes are located on the back of the box.
4. If using conduit, use the provided knock-outs on the power panel for cable management.
5. If connecting SDN devices, use an RJ45 adaptor and connect them to the device port on the power panel.
6. If using SDN Motor cables, refer to the motor instructions for further information on how to connect and use the cables.
7. Ensure proper line voltage wiring by connecting the earth, neutral, and hot wires correctly.
8. For motor connections, refer to the motor instructions for specific instructions on how to connect the bus, device, and  control buttons.

Optional oversized covers are available for purchase separately (#9800383).

Motor Connections

• V+, V- 24V DC Power to motor (RTS motors only use these 2 connections)
• +, – RS485 Communication
• G RS485 Signal ground
