Product Usage Instructions

Ensure that the luminaire is installed and operated according to national safety regulations.
Installation and commissioning should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Do not modify the luminaire without proper authorization as it may void the warranty and cause safety hazards.
For additional protection against overvoltage and transients, it is recommended to use separate overvoltage protection components.
When connecting the luminaire to the mains, ensure that the earth conductor connection is properly made.
The luminaire is equipped with a digital control system and can be controlled via DALI. Set the desired DALI address according to your requirements.
The luminaire has a basic insulation between the mains and control lines for added safety.
The luminaire features temporary thermal regulation to protect temperature-sensitive components without switching off the luminaire.
The luminaire has a safety class I rating and a protectionclass IP 64, making it dust-tight and protected against splash water.
When replacing the lamp module, ensure that you use the correct module designation (LED-0854/930) with a colour temperature of 3000 K and a colour rendering index (CRI) of over 90.

Installation
LED are high-quality electronic components! Please avoid touching the light output opening of the LED directly during installation or relamping. Remove glass from luminaire housing by turning it counterclockwise. Disassemble LED module. Disconnect plug connection. Lead the mains supply cable through the cable entry into the luminaire housing. Fix luminaire housing with enclosed or any other suitable fixing material onto the mounting surface. It is absolutely essential to use the enclosed gaskets. Push silicone sleeves over the lines, make ground and electrical connection to the terminal–plug connection. For digital control please use the 2-pole plug connector (DALI). In case this connector is not used the luminaire will be operated at full light output. Push plug into coupler as far as it will go. Assemble LED module. Screw glass with gasket firmly into the luminaire housing by turning it clockwise. Make sure that gasket is positioned correctly.

Cleaning · Maintenance
Clean luminaire regularly with solvent-free cleansers from dirt. The defective glass must be replaced.

Replacement of the LED module

The designation of the LED module is noted on a label in the luminaire. The light colour and light output of BEGA replacement modules correspond to those of the modules originally fitted. The module can be replaced by qualified persons using standard tools. Disconnect the system and open the luminaire. Please follow the installation instructions for the LED module. Inspect and, if necessary, replace the luminaire gaskets. Defective glass must be replaced. Close the luminaire.
