HOW TO USE

  9. Turn the temperature dial to Off position and unplug when not in use.
  10. Allow drip tray to cool completely before removing. Wash and dry the drip tray after each use.

USING THE OPEN COOKING SURFACE

  1. Raise the lid by handle until it stops.
  2. Press the hinge release button on the bottom right side of the handle and lower the lid until the cooking surface is fully opened.

NOTE:

  • Do not overload the cooking plate.
  • Do not leave the appliance unattended during use.
  • You can use light pressure on the handle to press and heat the food to your liking. Do not use heavy pressure on the lid at any time.
  • Always use heatproof plastic, silicone or wood utensils to avoid scratching the nonstick surface of the plates. Never use metal skewers, tongs, forks or knives.

  5. Do not place this appliance in the dishwasher.
  6. Make sure the appliance is completely dry before storing.
  7. Never store the appliance while it is still hot or plugged in.
  8. Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance. Do not put any stress on the cord where it enters the appliance as this could cause it to fray and break.
  9. Store in a cool dry place.

CAUTION:

  • To avoid accidental burns, allow appliance to cool thoroughly before cleaning. Plates will be hot for  some time after being unplugged.
  • DO NOT immerse the unit, plug or cord in water or any other liquid.
