Precautions
The appliance should only be handled by highly qualified people who follow the safety measures described in this manual.

  • In case of rotation of personnel, training should be provided in advance.

  • The appliance is equipped with safety devices at dangerous points. However, it is recommended not to touch the blade and moving components.

  • Before starting maintenance operations, disconnect it from the power supply.

Safety system installed

Mechanical safety system
The appliance is equipped with 3 safety switches. The machine only be started with all the safety switches are at the proper positions:

  • Bowl position safety switch: The machine can be started up once the bowl is positioned at the correct position.
  • Bowl guard safety switch: The machine can only be started up once the bowl guard is in the closed position.
  • Lift up lever safety switch: The machine can only be started up once the lift up lever is located in the upwards position.

Even though CE version appliances are provided with electrical and mechanical protections (when the appliance is operating and for maintenance and cleaning operations), there are still RESIDUAL RISKS that cannot be eliminated completely; these risks are specified in this manual under “ WARNING! / DANGER! / CAUTION! ”. The moving parts of the machine can cause injuries.

Preparation before use

  • Remove all protective packaging and wrapping.
  • Check that the device is in good condition and with all accessories. In case of incomplete or damaged delivery, please contact the supplier immediately. In this case, do not use the device.
  • Clean the accessories and the appliance before use (See ==> Cleaning & Maintenance).
  • Make sure the appliance is completely dry.
  • Place the appliance on a horizontal, stable and heat resistant surface that is safe against water splashes.
  • Keep the packaging if you intend to store your appliance in the future.
  • Keep the user manual for future reference.

NOTE! Due to manufacturing residues, the appliance may emit a light odor during the first few uses. This is normal and does not indicate any defect or hazard. Make sure the appliance is well ventilated.

Operating instructions

Special safety features
ATTENTION: This machine has the following 3 safety switches.

  • DO NOT operate the machine without reading the instruction manual.

  • ALWAYS keep hands, hair and loose clothing away from the moving parts.

a) About the bowl guard
Note: When bowl guard is open or not properly closed in lock position, the machine will not operate.

  1. To open the bowl guard, hold the bowl guard handle and rotate it clockwise. To close the bowl guard, hold the bowl guard handle and rotate it anti-clockwise.
  2. When the bowl guard handle is lined up at the right side of the machine, the bowl guard is in the is in the rocked position and ready for operation.

b) Install the bowl to the machine
Note: Install the bowl BEFORE fixing the attachments. Use the supplied bowl only.

  1. Lower the bowl by pulling the bowl lift-up lever downwards until it stops. So that the bowl cradle is in a lower position.
  2. Place the bowl carefully and slowly using the bowl handles at 2 sides and i) With the locking pin into the hole at the middle of the bowl cradle and ii) Align with guided pins on 2 sides of the bowl cradle.

c) Install different attachments (Flat beater, Dough hook or Whisk) to the machine

Note: It is more convenient and easier to install the attachments prior to adding the ingredients into the bowl.

  1. Rotate the bowl guard clockwise gently, so that it is in the open position.
  2. CAUTION! Use excessive force to open or close the bowl guard may damage the safety lock micro switch. Be careful when open or close the bowl guard.
  3. Slide the attachments (Flat beater, Dough hook or Whisk) slowly upwards onto the planetary shaft fitting the shaft pin through the slot in the attachments.
  4. Rotate the attachments to secure it onto the planetary shaft.

d) Pouring and mixing ingredients
Note: Follow the table of “Operating tips” in this manual. Overloading will lead to overflow or damage to the machine.
IMPORTANT: Make sure the speed control lever is set at the position 1.

  1. Add all the appropriate ingredients into the bowl.
  2. Lift upwards the bowl lift lever until the bowl locks into the position.
  3. Rotate the bowl guard anti-clockwise and locks into the position.

ATTENTION: The machine will not start if the bowl guard is open / not closed properly or the bowl is at the lower position.

e) Set the timer, speed & start up the machine 

  1. You can set the timer for the appropriate mixing time or operate without setting the timer.
    i) Operation with timer set: Press timer increase button toincrease the time or timer decrease button to decrease the time. Press the red ON/OFF button to confirm. Remaining time will be shown and dot blinks on the display.
    (Fig.8 on page 7).
    ii) Operation without timer set: The machine will switch OFF automatically in 10 minutes as the default timer is 10 minutes.
    Note:

    • Maximum setting time is 60 minutes. Default time is 10 minutes.
    • Press and hold timer increase button or timer decrease button for fast adjustment.
  2. Then, select the appropriate speed by lifting or lowering the speed control lever. Three fixed speeds are available: 1 (Low), 2 (medium) and 3 (high).

IMPORTANT: ALWAYS follow the recommended attachment used and speed setting according to the capacity table.
ATTENTION: Be careful about the risk of dust and flour escape when slitting of bags of ingredient into bowl. Wear protective mask or glasses if necessary.

  1. After that, press the red (ON / OFF) button on the control panel to switch ON the machine. Press again to switch OFF the machine. The machine will rotate in clockwise direction.
  2. CAUTION! ALWAYS STOP the machine BEFORE changing speeds. Failure to do so may damage the internal gear construction.
  3. To change the speed during the operation:
    a) Press the red (ON / OFF) button on the control panel to switch OFF the machine.
    b) Change the speed by raising or lowering the speed control lever.
    c) Press the red (ON / OFF) button on the control panel to restart the machine.

RESET the safety cut-out (Hi-limiter or thermal cut-out)

Please note that the RESET button is equipped with a protective cap to avoid overheat.

  • Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.

  • Allow the appliance to completely cool down.

  • Unscrew the protective cap of the RESET button.

  • Press the RESET button of the Hi-limiter (thermal cut-out).
    You should hear a click sound.

  • Screw back the protective cap on the RESET button.

  • Connect to the power supply and you can use it again.

Below table is just a reference about the maximum quantity for making the different food. There are many factors affecting such as the type of the flour, temperature of water, etc.

Cleaning & maintenance

  • ATTENTION! Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply and cool down before storage, cleaning & maintenance.

  • Do not use water jet or steam cleaner for cleaning and do not push the appliance under the water as the parts will get wet and electric shock might be resulted.

  • If the appliance is not kept in a good state of cleanliness, this can adversely affect the life of the appliance and result in a dangerous situation.

  • Food residues should be regularly cleaned and removed from the appliance. If the appliance is not cleaned properly, it will reduce its lifespan and may result in a dangerous condition during use.
    Cleaning

  • Clean the cooled exterior surface with a cloth or sponge slightly dampened with a mild soap solution.

  • Always remove all the attachments before cleaning, otherwise it will become stuck on the shaft and difficult to remove later.

Maintenance

  • Check the operation of the appliance regularly to prevent serious accidents.

  • If you see that the appliance is not working properly or that there is a problem, stop using it, switch it off and contact the supplier.

  • All maintenance, installation and repair work must be carried out by specialised and authorised technicians, or recommended by the manufacturer.
    Transportation and Storage

  • Before storage, always make sure that the appliance has been disconnected from the power supply and completely cooled down.

  • Store the appliance in a cool, clean and dry place.

  • Never place heavy objects on the appliance as this could damage it.

  • Do not move the appliance while it is under operation. Disconnect the appliance from power supply when moving and hold it at the bottom.
