BEGA 51204.1 LED Pendant Luminaire

Product Information

The BEGA System pendant luminaire is a downlight that features cast aluminium luminaire housing with a velvet white finish. The reflector surface is made of pure aluminium. The luminaire weighs 1.5 kg and contains light sources of energy efficiency class(es) D. It does not come with a canopy and needs to be connected to an additional BEGA Installation component (accessory).

The luminaire is designed for use in combination with various modular BEGA installation components. It contains an optical lens and is suitable for pendant installation.

The product specifications are as follows:

Product Usage Instructions

Safety:
The installation and operation of this luminaire must comply with national safety regulations. Only a qualified electrician should perform the installation and commissioning. The manufacturer is not liable for any damage caused by improper use or installation. If any modifications are made to the luminaire, the person responsible for the modifications will be considered the manufacturer.

Operating Device:
The luminaire can only be operated with an operating device that meets the requirements of EN 61347-2-13. The maximum idle voltage of 60 V DC must conform to SELV or SELV equivalent.

Installation:

1. Avoid touching the light output opening of the LED directly during installation or relamping.
2. Screw the enclosed trim ring with the attached reflector into the luminaire housing by turning it clockwise.

Note:
To operate this luminaire, one of the additional BEGA Installation components must be ordered. Please refer to the instructions for use specific to the chosen BEGA installation component for luminaire installation.

Important:
If no BEGA installation component is used to install this BEGA system pendant luminaire, the manufacturer accepts no liability for any damage caused by improper use or installation.

The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by improper use or installation if no BEGA installation component is used to install this BEGA system pendant luminaire.

Cleaning And Maintenance

Clean the luminaire regularly with solvent-free cleansers from dirt.

Replacing the LED module

• The designation of the LED module is noted on a label in the luminaire.
• The light colour and light output of BEGA replacement modules correspond to those of the modules originally fitted. The module can be replaced by a qualified person using commercially available tools.
• Disconnect the system and open the luminaire.
• Please follow the installation instructions for the LED module.
• Close the luminaire.
