Product Information
This product is a luminaire that requires installation and operation in compliance with national safety regulations. It is recommended to have a qualified electrician carry out the installation and commissioning. The manufacturer does not accept liability for any damage caused by improper use or installation. The luminaire is equipped with electronic components that are protected against overvoltage according to DIN EN 61547. For additional protection against transients, it is advisable to use separate overvoltage protection components, which can be found on the manufacturer’s website.

Follow the installation instructions provided for the LED module. If the glass is defective, it should be replaced before closing the luminaire.
Product Usage Instructions
- Ensure that the installation and commissioning of the luminaire are performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with national safety regulations.
- Consider using separate overvoltage protection components for additional protection against transients. These components can be found on the manufacturer’s website.
- Ensure that the lamp module connected wattage is 12.8 W and the luminaire connected wattage is 14.8 W.
- Maintain an ambient temperature of 30°C or below for proper functioning of the luminaire.
- Verify that the module designation is 2x LED-0518/930 and the color temperature is 3000 K.
- Confirm that the color rendering index (CRI) is greater than 90, the module luminous flux is 1910 lm, and the luminaire luminous flux is 652 lm.
- If the LED module needs replacement, follow these steps:
- Disconnect the system and open the luminaire.
- Locate the label inside the luminaire to identify the designation of the LED module.
- Select a replacement module with matching light color and output.
- Replace any defective glass before closing the luminaire.

- The installation and operation of this luminaire are subject to national safety regulations.
- Installation and commissioning may only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
- The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by improper use or installation.
- If subsequent modifications are made to the luminaire, the person responsible for these modifications shall be considered the manufacturer.
Overvoltage protection
- The electronic components installed in the luminaire are protected against overvoltage in accordance with DIN EN 61547.
- To achieve an additional protection against e. g. transients, etc. we recommend separate overvoltage protection components.

Installation
- LED are high-quality electronic components! Please avoid touching the light output opening of the LED directly during installation or relamping.
- Undo screws and lift off luminaire top.
- Lead the mains supply cable through the cable entry into the luminaire back housing.
- Note position of application “arrow down”.
- Fix luminaire back housing with enclosed or any other suitable fixing material onto the mounting surface.
- Pull silicone sleeves over the wires.
- Make earth connection and electrical connection to the terminals.
- Make earth conductor connection between luminaire top and luminaire base (plug connection).
- Note position of application “arrow down” of luminaire housing.
- Install luminaire top part, adjust it and tighten screws.
Cleaning · Maintenance
- Clean luminaire regularly with solvent-free cleansers from dirt.
Replacement of the LED module
- The designation of the LED module is noted on a label in the luminaire.
- The light colour and light output of BEGA replacement modules correspond to those of the modules originally fitted.
- The module can be replaced by qualified persons using standard tools.
- Disconnect the system and open the luminaire.
- Please follow the installation instructions for the LED module.
- Defective glass must be replaced.
- Close the luminaire.
