BEGA 99415 Underwater Floodlight
Product Information
The Unterwasserscheinwerfer Underwater floodlight is designed for the illumination of ponds, water pools, and water features up to a depth of 20 meters. It is a water pressure tight floodlight that must only be operated underwater and protected against freezing. The floodlight is made of stainless steel with a clear safety glass and a silicone gasket. It features a reflector made of pure anodized aluminum. The LED power supply unit operates at 220-240 V and 50-60 Hz. The luminaire has a safety class I and protection class IP68, making it suitable for underwater use up to a depth of 20 meters. The weight of the floodlight is 4.2 kg.
Product Usage Instructions
- To avoid damages on the surface of the floodlight, ensure that the water has a neutral pH-value and is free from metal attacking ingredients.
- Before installing the floodlight, consult national safety regulations and ensure that the installation and operation are carried out by a qualified electrician. When designing a lighting installation underwater, consider that the amount of light absorbed by the water depends on its clarity. The lighting intensity and brightness will be lower compared to a free burning floodlight.
- The values shown in the floodlight diagram are valid for medium air. In clear water at a distance of 10 meters, the lighting intensity is approximately half that of a free burning floodlight.
- Do not modify the luminaire without proper authorization. Any modifications should be carried out by the manufacturer or authorized personnel.
