- Description: This ceiling and wall luminaire features hand-blown, satin matt opal glass for a soft and uniform light distribution. Some of the light exits behind the shield and also illuminates the mounting surface.

Separate overvoltage protection components are recommended for additional protection against transients. These components can be found on our website at www.bega.com.

Product Usage Instructions
- Disconnect the system.
- Turn the opal glass with the integrated LED unit to the left as far as it will go, and remove it.
- Disconnect the plug-in device. Note: LED components are sensitive, avoid touching the light output opening directly during installation or relamping.
- Push the plug into the coupler as far as it will go.
- Ensure that the gasket is positioned correctly.
- Place the opal glass with LED unit onto the luminaire base, aligning both yellow arrow markers to each other.
- Screw the glass clockwise into the base until it reaches the stop position.

Installation
- Lead the mains supply cable through the cable entry of the luminaire base.
- Fix luminaire base with enclosed or any other suitable fixing material onto the mounting surface.
- Make the earth conductor connection and the electrical connection.
- For digital control please use the connecting terminal DA, DA.
- In case this terminal is not used the luminaire will be operated at full light output.
- Push plug into coupler as far as it will go. Make sure that gasket is positioned correctly. Place the opal glass with LED unit onto the luminaire base in such a way that both yellow arrow markers align to each other and screw the glass clockwise into the base up to the stop.
Replacing the LED module
- The designation of the LED module is noted on a label in the luminaire.
- The light colour and light output of BEGA replacement modules correspond to those of the modules originally fitted.
- The module can be replaced by qualified persons using standard tools.
- Disconnect the system.
- Turn the opal glass with the integrated LED unit to the left as far as it will go, and remove it. Disconnect the plug-in device.
- LED are high-quality electronic components! Please avoid touching the light output opening of the LED directly during installation or relamping.
- To dismantle the LED unit, the two springs must be removed.
- To do this, use a small screwdriver to move the spring clip resting against the hexagon socket screw upwards and over the head of the screw (see drawing A).
- The spring can then be removed.
- Loosen the hexagon socket screws and take the LED unit out of the opal glass.
- Replace the LED modules.
- Please follow the installation instructions for the LED module.
- Insert the LED unit into the opal glass and secure it in place.
- Then insert the springs at the two opposite hexagon socket screws.
- Make sure that the spring clip is properly located behind the heads of the screws (see drawing B).
- Push plug into coupler as far as it will go. Make sure that gasket is positioned correctly. Place the opal glass with LED unit onto the luminaire base in such a way that both yellow arrow markers align to each other and screw the glass clockwise into the base up to the stop.
Cleaning Maintenance
- Clean luminaire regularly with solvent-free cleansers from dirt and deposits.
- Do not use high pressure cleaners.
