- Read the safety instructions carefully before assembly and use to avoid the risk of serious personal injury.
- Put 2 screws M8 x 75 through the adjusting strut and into the clamp. Make sure the scale on the adjusting strut is turned away when fitting. Screw on the nuts below the clamp. Do not overtighten, leaving space for the saw bar.
- Put 2 screws M8 x 75 through the adjusting strut, through the bar tip guard, and through the clamp. Fit hex screws in the nuts below the clamp. Do not overtighten, leaving space for the saw bar.
- Repeat step 3 at the other end, but do not overtighten the nut as in step 3 and step 4.

DESCRIPTION
Converts the chain saw to a one-man sawmill to turn logs into planks with a thickness of 0.5-30 cm. Works for logs up to Ø53 cm and fits chain saws with a bar length from 12” (30 cm) – 24” (60 cm). The lightweight, but robust framework is made of aluminium and is easy to use. The jig has a chain saw holder for positioning the saw when in use, a support handle for stability, saw guard for personal safety, and a plank thickness gauge
ASSEMBLY

Put 2 screws M8 x 75 through the adjusting strut and into the clamp. Make sure the scale on the adjusting strut is turned away when fitting. Screw on the nuts below the clamp. Do not overtighten, so that there is space for the saw bar.

Fit the adjusting strut for the chain saw end on the end piece with U-bolt, strut clamp, 2 flat washers, and connecting nuts

Fasten the handle at the chain saw end in line with the end piece with ball headed screw and lock nut.

Repeat in the tip end, but do not tighten the nut (as in step 3 and step 4).

Fit the stay and handle on the guide stay for the power switch with on/off switch med carriage bolts, 2 lock washers and nuts and 1 connection nut. Fit the composite unit on the thickness rails with 2 screws, flat washers and nuts.
FIG. 6: -
Fit the end piece on the thickness rails with carriage bolts, 2 flat washers and hex nuts. Tighten the nuts with your fingers. Fit the other end piece on the thickness rails with carriage bolts, 2 flat washers and hex nuts. Tighten the nuts. Check that the end pieces are in line with the thickness rails.
