CUTTING [Figure C]
The Led Strip can be cut to any desired length. Cut through in one movement from the transparent side.
Carefully follow these instructions when cutting the strip:
- The Led Strip has been marked with the print DO NOT CUT HERE. Never cut in this part of the strip.
- The strip can be shortened as desired. The part of the strip that is connected to the connector has to have at least one marking.
- Short (remaining) parts of the Led Strip which do not have a marking will not light when connected to the connector.
- It is possible that a small part of a few centimetres at the end of the strip will not light up after cutting
ASSEMBLE [Figure D]
Working Conditions:
Do not use at temperatures below +10 °C. The glue responds best to an air
humidity level of 50-70 %. The Led Strip has to be connected in the right
direction to the connector. When connecting, pay attention to the direction of
the arrow with the print CONNECTOR. The arrow points in the direction of the
connector.
- Insert the pin [2] into the Led Strip [6] first. Make sure that the pin [2] makes proper contact with the conductors of the Led Strip [6].
- Before gluing, test whether the Led Strip [6] is lit. To do this, insert the Led Strip [6] into the plastic holder [1] and connect it to our 12-volt system. Disconnect the connector from the 12-volt system and remove the Led Strip [6] from the plastic holder[1].
- Before applying the adhesive, carefully read the adhesive’s instructions for use. Apply the adhesive [5] all around to the Led Strip [6] and insert it into the plastic holder [1].
- Apply a final layer of glue around the connector [1] and the Led Strip [6] and wipe clean with a dry cloth.
- Place the end cap [3] at the end of the Led Strip [6].
